Pihu bids goodbye to Sony TV's

The little Princess of Tellytown is set to bid adieu to all of us. Amrita Mukherjee who won millions of hearts by her innocent acting is quitting the show after it will go through a 9 year leap.

Amrita played a bubbly talkative daughter of Ram and Priya on Sony TV's 'Bade Achhe lagte hain. Even though she was casted against matured and talented actors like Ram Kapoor and Sakshi Tanwar, Amrita managed to successfully portray her character in the show.

Her acting skills not only impressed us but BALH actors too. She was a darling of everyone at the sets especially Sakshi Tanwar who became very friendly to this small wonder.

Amrita bagged lots of awards and became face of BALH. Her popularity grew as much as of any other leading actor in the show. Amrita's smile, her dimples, her cute naughty dialogues became talk of the country. The best thing about this child actor was that she never realised how big her stardom is, she played her part with perfection and innocence. Usually it is difficult for big stars to cope up with gruelling schedules of daily soaps but this little child did amazing work for almost 2 years.

Pihu's character got a new dimension, her role emerged as one of the most loved child characters on Indian Television. Ekta Kapoor indeed found the most befitting child to play this beautiful role. But now the queen has decided to bring in 9 years leap in her show hence Pihu has to grow up.

Amrita's exit will mark Aanchal's entry in the show. Who Aanchal? Let me tell you, she is Aanchal Munjal aka Raavi of Parvarrish who has bagged the role of grownup Pihu after the generation jump. We tried contacting Aanchal but she remained unavailable.

However, Amrita's mother Mrinmoyee Mukherjee confirmed the news and said that her daughter, post Bade Achhe, will take a break for the next three to four months. She is very tired and now want sometime to spend on her hobbies.

Amrita will not take up any daily soap as of now but as her talent lies in acting, she will work in a film or a TV assignment which would require her to shoot only in weekends. She will miss the cast and crew and go to meet them on weekends.

Amrita Mukherjee has already given her last shot. The new Pihu will be revealed on the episode to be aired on Monday August 12. The unconventional love story of Ram and Priyawill continue to entertain its audience with entirely new twists and turns where the protagonist Ram and Priya will shower its love on their 16 year old teenage daughter Pihu.

BALH will never be the same again without Amrita. I am sure Aanchal will give her best as she is a talented actress but we all will surely miss our little Pihu. iDubba wishes Amrita lots of love and success in her upcoming projects.
