Guys...writing on weekends mein ek badi problem hai...Balh mein real story kahi chali jati hain...and your track goes on to another...Balh Valentine tak pahunch gaye...so now let me also rush through...And please be alerted this write up is TOOO LONG...so please be patient...hope you guys like it reading ...the way I liked it writing...

Part 8 - Afternoon

After sometime Ram sees Pihu is feeling tired and sleepy.

Ram: Pihu...Baby aapko neend aa rahi hain na, Papa will make you sleep on this sofa...ok?

Pihu: Papa, lekin aap yahin behtiye...mere paas...

Ram: Yes...Papa is not going anywhere...Papa is here with You and Mumma...

Ram slowly places her on sofa. Seeing that Pihu is feeling little cold there... Removes his coat and puts it on Pihu...so that she does not feel cold. Ram sits besides Pihu on sofa for sometime tapping her forehead. Once he's sure that Pihu has slept, he goes and sits on the chair besides Priya's bed.

Ram: (taking Priya's hand in his) Get well soon Priya...We need you...

Placing a soft kiss on her hand, a drop of tear escapes his eyes...

Ram: (How can I misunderstand you so much Priya...) Mein soch raha tha ki tum hamesha ki tarha mera phone nahi utha rahi thi...par ye nahin janta tha ki tumhari ye halat hain...

At the same time, Ram's phone rings...it's Vikram on the phone...

Vikram: Ram...tu hain kaha aur tu ne mujhe phone bhi nahi kiya after meeting Priya? Sab thik hain na?

Ram: (in slow and sad voice) Vikram ...Priya is in hospital...she is very unwell...mein aur Pihu abhi usike saath hain...

Vikram: Kya????par kaise??????Kaunse hospital??? Mein aur Neha as abhi pahunch rahein hain...will talk to you once we come there????and Don't worry ab thik ho jayega????

Ram tells him hospital details and hangs the phone...

Ram goes near Pihu...ensures that she is sleeping soundly then goes near Priya...

Vikram: Neha...jaldi aao...Priya hospital mein hain...Ram aur Pihu hi vahin hain..

Both Vikram and Neha reach hospital...

Neha goes and sits near Priya...

Vikram: Ram...yeh sab kya ho gaya????Priya hospital mein kaise??????

Ram explains everything to them...

Ram: Mujhe lagta hain us din Raat ko jo mere aur Priya ke beech mein hua...Priya apne aapko usi ke liye guilty mehsoos kar rahi hain...

Vikram: Ram don't worry...everything will be alright...bas Priya ko jaldi se hosh aa jaye...

Doctor comes with the reports for Priya's tests conducted since morning. ...

Doctor: (checks up Priya but there is no movement.) Nurse puts a new saline bottle...

Doctor: Mr.Kapoor there is something that is bothering Patient's mind...Her reports are almost normal...only that it looks she is not taking her food properly...we are just hoping that she wakes up fast...I am available in my cabin as soon as the patient wakes up let me know...

Ram: Thanks Doctor...

Doctor and Nurse leave from there...

Ram: (keeps his hand on his forehead with tension)

Vikram: Yaar tu tension mat le...hum sab hain na yahan...dekhna Priya ko jaldi hosh aa jayega...

Ram: I hope so...

Ram goes near Priya and Caresses her hair...

Ram: Dekh na Vikram mere Biwi aur Bachche ki yeh halat hain and I was cursing ki Priya time par kabhi phone nahi uthati ...

Neha: (rubbing Ram's back and consoling him...)

Pihu: (gets up rubbing her eyes and starts crying...)...Papa...Mumma...aap kahan ho???

Pihu is still sleepy...

Ram: (rushing towards sofa) Rockstar you got up...Papa and Mumma dono hain yahan aap ke saath...(hugging her tightly...Pihu is in half sleep mode and is sleeping on Ram's shoulders...) dekho Neha Aunty and Vikram Uncle are also here...

Pihu is feeling so tired that she does not look at them...

After sometime, when Pihu is fully awakened...

Pihu: Papa ...Mumma uth gayi kya...long sleep se??? Unko boliye na mein aage se kabhi unko tang nahi karungi...unki saari baate manoongi...(tears start flowing from her eyes...)

Ram: sh..sh...nahi Baby ...Mumma aapse gussa nahin hain...she's only a bit tired... so she's sleeping ...ok...

At the same time...Nutz reaches over there with some snacks...

Part 9 - Evening

Neha: Ram...Pihu must be hungry...normally Priya shyam ko is waqt Pihu ko doodh pilati hain...

Nutz.: Bhai I have brought some tea and milk for Pihu...

Ram: (making her sit on his lap)..Pihu...would you like to drink some milk, (Pihu.. nodding in no...)

Ram: little bit milk for your Mumma and Papa...(Pihu can do anthing for her Mumma and Papa...and agrees to drink milk)

Ram takes glass from Nutz...and makes Pihu drink the milk...

After taking 2 sips...she wants no more...

Ram: bus itna sa? One sip for your Mumma?

Pihu drinks one more sip

Ram: Papa's one sip?

Pihu drinks another sip

Pihu: Papa bus ...

Ram: ok...(handing over the glass to Nutz)...that's like my good girl...(taking handkerchief from pocket he cleans Pihu's face and hands...

Nutz provides tea to everyone...

Vikram gets a call from home and both Vikram and Neha have to leave for some reason...

Vikram: Ram ...Neha aur mujhe thodi emergency hain isliye jana hoga...but we shall come back soon...

Ram: Is everything ok?

Vikram: Nothing serious...

Ram: You guys carry on? Let me know in case there is anything serious...

Vikram: Haan...chale Neha?

Neha hugs Ram, Kisses Pihu..., hugs Nutz... and both Vikram and Neha leave...

Ram: Nutz...can you take Pihu out for a while...I hope she doesn't get ill staying here...

Nutz: Haan Bhai...

Nutz: Pihu...there is a big idol of Ganesh just outsize this ward...let's go and see it...

Pihu: (looking at Ram)...

Ram: Kya hua Baby...you can go with Nutz Bua...Papa is here with Mumma...

Pihu gets up from Ram's lap, catches Nutz hand and goes...

Ram goes near Priya...sits on the chair...

Ram: Priya I don't like you sleeping this way...in a hospital...get up Priya...

Ram takes Priya's hand and places it on his heart...

After 5 minutes, Priya's hand moves and there is slight movement in Priya...she is trying to open her eyes but due to weakness she is not able to do it...

Seeing Priya's movement...brings smile on Ram's sad face..his joy knew no bounds...he wants to tell this to Pihu that her Mumma has awakened...but firstly needs to intimate this to the Doctor...

Caressing Priya's Forehead...Ram gets up from Chair and kisses Priya's forehead...

Ram: Priya mein ek minute mein Doctor ko lekar aata huon...

Ram hurries to call the Doctor...

Doctor and Nurse quickly rush towards Priya's room...

Priya's head is reeling with Pain...she opens her eyes and sees Ram standing beside her (her face shows tired expressions) ...

Doctor checks Priya...meanwhile Ram is caressing Priya's head...consoling Priya sab kuch thik ho jayega...Nurse removes the connection of saline drip...

Doctor: (while checking Doctor asks) Mrs. Kapoor ab kaisa lag raha hai?How are you feeling now...?

Priya: Pani...Pani...

Ram: gets a glass of water...and with the help of a spoon Nurse gives some water to Priya...

After 2 sips, Priya signs to stop

Ram: Priya kaise lag raha hai ab?

Priya: (placing her hand on her head with great difficulty) mera sar...(and looks towards Ram)...(a tear falls from her eyes)...

Doctor: Mrs. Kapoor you have been sleeping for more than 36 hrs...and it's the sedation of medicines...aapka bukhar ab thoda kam ho raha hai...also you haven't eaten anything since yesterday...thoda time lagega but you will be fine soon...(turning towards Ram)...if possible make her eat something even though little during the dinner...she should gain some strength...

Doctor: Does your back hurt as you have been sleeping in one position for very long?

Priya: (nods in yes...)

Doctor: Mr.Kapoor you can adjust the bed from here and make her sit whenever she feels like sitting...

Ram: ok...Doctor...

Doctor and Nurse leave from there...but before leaving Doctor calls Ram near the door and tells Doctor: please ensure she gets complete rest and don't do anything that disturbs her mind...

Ram: sure ..Doctor...I will take care...

Ram goes near Priya with a satisfying smile on his face...

Ram: SLEEPING BEAUTY ...how much will you sleep????

Hearing sleeping beauty...a smile comes on Priya's face...

Cuddling Priya in a jaddo ki jhappi...Ram kisses Priya's head...

Priya: (looking at Ram with Question mark)...she asks about Pihu...

Ram: Pihu yahin hain...Nutz and Pihu have gone out ...they will be soon back...

Priya: Mr.Kapoor...my back is hurting...I want to sit...

Ram: haan...(pressing a button...top portion of bed moves slowly and bends forward)...arranging some cushions supporting Priya's back ...makes Priya sit...

Ram: yeh thik hai? (Priya nods in yes)

Ram: (holding her hand) kuch khaogi??? (Priya nods in no)

Ram: (seeing that Priya is feeling cold) ...AC kum kar du...

Priya: hmmm

Ram adjusts the temperature...

Ram: yeh thik hain... (Priya nods in yes)

Priya tries to move her hand that had saline injection...but a blaze of pain passes her hand...

Priya: aah...

Ram: bahot dukh raha hai haath?? (Priya nods in yes... and a droplet of tear falls from her eyes...)

Ram: Priya...wiping off the tear from Priya's face...sab thik ho jayega...Sherni bhi kabhi roti hain...

Priya: (hearing Sherni...Priya smiles...)

Ram: ok...sorry...just joking...

Priya: Ram us raat ke bare mein sochkar...

Ram: Priya you are not going to think about it...aapni kya halat bana li hain...tumhein pata bhi hain tumhein aisa dekhkar Pihu ka kya haal hua hain...ghar chalkar sari baate kartein hain...but just don't worry...sab log tumhare saath hain...you have to just rest baby...

Nutz and Pihu come...seeing her Mumma awakened...Pihu's joy knew no bounds...she rushes towards Ram and Priya...

Nutz: Priya wow...aapko aise dekhkar kitna achcha lag raha hai...mein bata nahi sakti...

Ram makes Pihu sit on his lap...

Pihu: Mumma aap apne long sleep se jag gaye...Meine aapko kitna miss kiya...

Ram places Pihu's hand in Priya's hand...and holds both their hands together...

Priya calls Pihu nearby and places a feather kiss on her forehead

Within that time, everyone comes, Shipra, Sudhir, Vikram, Neha...and they are happy to see improvement in Priya's

Priya: seeing everyone caring so much for her...Priya feels better...

KK and Dadi also call up Ram

Ram: Haan Ma Priya ab pehle se better hain...

They talk for sometime and then Ram keeps the phone...

Part 10 - Night

Seeing so many people, Nurse comes into the room

Nurse: Mr.Kapoor itne log yahan allowed nahi hain...Patient ko rest kaise milegi...visitors time khatam ho chukka hain...aap sabko ab jana padega...sirf ek person patient ke saath ruk sakta hain...

And the Nurse goes from there...

Everyone insists they wait with Priya...

Ram: Papa mein yahan Priya ke saath rukoonga...

Sudhir: Bete tum bhi toh thak gaye hoonge...

Ram doesn't listen anything and everybody agrees on Ram staying with Priya...

Ram: (down on his knees) Pihu idhar aao... aaj Papa is going to stay with Mumma in hospital. Agar Mumma ko raat ko kuch chahiye hoga toh Papa hone chahiye na Mumma ka khayal rakhne ke liye?...Aap Nanu, Nani aur Nutz Bua ke saath ghar chale jao...ok my Rockstar?

Pihu: Papa mujhe bhi aapke aur Mumma ke saath rahaina hain...Can't I wait?

Ram: Pihu...tomorrow is your school na baby...and Pihu is a Good Girl ...she listens to her Mumma and Papa ...hain na? (Pihu nods in yes)

Pihu: kal aap mujhe wapas Mumma se milwane layenge na?

Ram: Sure...

Pihu: Promise?

Ram: Papa's Gentleman's Promise...

Pihu hugs Ram, says Mumma jaldi se thik ho jao and hugs Priya...and everyone leaves from there...

Ram let's Priya sleep for another half an hour

It's dinner time for the patient's, Nurse along with other person gets the food...

Ram wakes up Priya and adjusts her bed so that she is able to sit...

Nurse: Mrs.Kapoor eat whatever you want and how much portion you want ...but instead of saline...this solid food will help you to get over your weakness and will help for your early recovery...And after your food these are your medicines...Mr.Kapoor - I shall come for another round around midnight...let me know if you require any help...(saying this the nurse goes from there)

Priya: Mr.Kapoor mujhe bhook nahin hain...I want to go home...

Ram: Priya since yesterday you have not eaten anything...if you want to go home...you will have to be fit and fine...(teasingly) even the Doctors don't want to keep a Sherni here... Priya: Mr.Kapooor...

Ram: ok...ok...sorry... Achcha mein kal Doctor se baat karunga...when can they discharge you...even I can't see you like this...

Priya: Aur aapke liye khana?

Ram: woh mein khalunga...there is a canteen downstairs...

Ram: wait let me feed you first...slowly he feeds her...saying some stories...

Priya: signs for enough...she can't eat anymore...

Ram: ok...bus...

After sometime, the food trolley is taken away by a ward boy...

(Some light hearted moments)

Priya: Mr.Kapoor...aapne Pihu ko Gentleman's Promise toh diya...yaad hain aapne mujhe bhi pehle kabhi Gentleman's promise diya tha...lekin turant tod diya tha...

Ram: Haan mujhe achchi tarah yaad hain...woh maine diya nahin tha...tumne zabardasti mujh se karwaya tha ...toh mujhe todna pada...And I will fulfil Pihu's every Promise...And yours also...

Ram: Priya yeh hospital mein milne ka silsila ab humein rokna chahiye...

Priya: hmmm...

After sometime he gives the medicines...

Ram: so lijiye Mrs.Tablet Kapoor...aapki tablets...

Both of them start laughing...

Priya: (holding Ram's hand): Mr.Kapoor aap khana khakar aaeya

Ram: hmmm...Tum rest karo.mein jakar aata huon...Covers her with duvet...

Seeing Priya's sad face...

Ram: Kya hua? Are you ok?

Priya: Pihu ki yaad aa rahi hain...

At the sametime Ram gets a call from Pihu...

Ram: Hi Rockstar...aap abhi tak jage ho...soye nahin...did you have your dinner???

Pihu: haan...aur aapka?

Ram: Papa abhi khana khane jaa rahen hain

Pihu: Mein aapke liye lekar aaoon???

Ram: No Thank you bachche...Papa will have it from the hospital canteen...

Pihu: Aur Mumma ka dinner???

Ram: Mumma ne kha liya hain...ek minute Mumma ko phone de raha huon...

Pihu: Mumma...mein aapko bahot miss kar rahi huon...

Priya: Princess...Baby Mumma bhi aapko bahot miss kar rahi hain (tears rolling down Priya's cheeks...seeing this Ram wipes them and consoles Priya...)...achcha school bag kal ke liye ready kar diya?? Nanu, Nani aur Nutz Bua ko tang mat karna...ok...my Good Girl...

Pihu: Mumma don't worry...aap rest karo...mein aapko kal milti huon...aapko aur Papa ko...Good Night and take care...

Priya: Good Night Baby...

After Pihu's call...

Ram: Ho gayee...Pihu se baat...now will you take some rest...mein jaldi se jakar aata huon...kuch bhi chahiye toh ye button daba dena...till I come...Nurse aa jayeegi...Bed ko adjust karu...so that you can sleep now...

Priya: Nahi...abhi nahin aap wapas aajaeye..

Ram: ok...don't stress yourself...I am coming back fast...

Ram comes back, till that time Priya is in deep sleep...

Ram slowly adjusts the bed...makes it flat...this awakens Priya...

Priya: aa kab aayee...meri toh ankh lag gayee...

Ram: bus abhi...

Priya: Mr.Kapoor aap kahan soyenge???

Ram: sofa hain na...

Priya: woh sofa toh aap ke liye uncomfortable nahin hain...

Ram: Priya...woh mere liye thik hain...don't worry...I will manage...

Priya: phir bhi...

Ram: (keeping his palm on her lips)...ekdum chup...now you will listen to me...close your eyes...and just sleep...or else I will tell the Nurse to give you injection...do you want it...

Priya: (nodding in no...like a child...) she turns towards Ram...and closes her eyes...

Ram: so jao...and places a soft kiss on her forehead and he slowly pats her...

Priya goes into sleep

Ram: (once ensuring Priya has slept) goes towards sofa...Beta Ram aaj yeh sofa ko bed samajh kar so lena...

Ram sits on the sofa and rests his head on backrest...ensuring that he does not sleep completely as Priya might require his help dring the night and also his snoring might wake up Priya...

Part 11 – Next day Morning

In the morning, Priya gets up first...and looks for Ram...seeing Ram sitting and sleeping with folded hands...uncomfortably on the sofa...she feels sorry...

Ram also gets up by that time rubbing his eyes...and goes near Priya's bed...

Priya: Good Morning Mr.Kapoor...

Ram: Good Morning...still yawning...

Still rubbing his eyes...Priya can see his eyes are red...

Priya: aap ki ankhen toh ekdum laal hain...aap so paye raat bhar...

Ram: Keeping his one hand on his eyes and one on his back...Haan...

Priya: Lekin meine toh...aapke kharratho ki awaz nahi suni...

Ram: Arre itni bimari mein bhi tumhein mere kharrathe yaad hain...

Priya: Aapki biwi huon...sab janti huon...aur kya back pain ho raha hain...aapna hath kyu waise rakha hain???

Ram: Nothing bus thoda sa...pain hain...nothing to worry...have you freshened up...mein thoda fresh ho kar atta hoon...

Priya: Haan aap hokar aaiye

As Ram comes out, breakfast has also come...

Priya doesn't want to eat...but Ram like yesterday night's dinner...tells her stories and feeds breakfast...

Nurse and Doctor enter for daily morning checkup round...

Doctor: (after checking) Mrs. Kapoor how are you feeling today?

Priya: Better...

Doctor: (looking at Ram) that's good...I must say inmein kalse bahot improvement hain...thoda weakness toh hoga...lekin bukhar aab utar gaya hain...Aapne kalse inka bahot achcha khayal rakha hain...Agar aap jaise relatives sabhi patients ke honge oh Doctoron ka kaam bahot aasan ho jayega...

Priya: (signs Ram to ask about discharge)...

Ram: Doctor...Priya ko kab tak discharge mil jayega?

Doctor: Humlog aaj shyam tak inhe under observation rakhenge...agar bukhar nahi aaya and if she is eating properly...she might be discharged today itself...

Ram: Thanks Doctor...

Doctor: Nurse injection please...

Priya: No...

Ram: It's ok Priya...hold me...nahin dukhega...Doctor thoda aaram se...

Doctor pierces the injection needle...

Priya: (holding Ram's hand) Mr.Kapoor...aahhh..

Ram: bus hogaya Priya...don't move...

Doctor: it's done Mrs. Kapoor...did it pain you this time...

Priya: (making child like face...nodding in yes...)

Doctor: Mr.Kapoor hold this cotton for sometime...until she feels better...but nothing to worry...weakness mein aisa hota...I know my patient is very strong...

Ram holds Priya for sometime...Priya also doesn't move for sometime holding Ram tightly...

Pain reduces after sometime...

Ram: Priya...are you ok????

Nodding in yes...slowly Priya leaves Ram's hand...Ram throws the cotton in dustbin...

Ram: Priya you take some rest...sleep for a while...

Sudhir, Shipra come to meet Priya...

Hearing about her recovery...they are very happy and are thanking Ram for it...

Ram: Arre yeh kya aap keh rahe hain...Priya is my wife...Can't I take care of my wife?????

Ram asks about Pihu..and how is she...Sudhir informs...she has left for school but was missing both Ram and Priya badly yesterday night... Ram informs them that he wants to change his clothes, freshen up so wants to leave for KM and will be back after sometime...

Priya: awakens by the talking sound of Sudhir, Shipra and Ram...

Ram: oh...tum jag gayee...dekho Papa aur Ma aaye hain...he tells Priya that he will be leaving for KM and will be back after sometime...

Priya: tells him to take some rest as his sleep was not good the earlier night...and also not to worry about her...

In the afternoon, Ram Picks up Pihu and brings her to hospital as promised...

Priya and Pihu are elated to see each other...

Priya: Mera bachcha...and hugs Pihu tightly...

Seeing improvement in Priya...the Doctor discharges her in the evening...

Ram drops...everyone at Priya's home. At Priya's insistence he waits over for dinner...

Caressing and hugging both Priya and Pihu...Ram leaves for KM.

what will happen next eagerly waiting.. how will priya react when ram take her to km😆 continue soon
