Why would he see naked women while traveling? in what circumstance?

Ram is anti social...it hardly looks like he goes to the pub after meetings to throw back a few with the boys and then head off to the club to see some girlie action

He acts like a kid around Priya only...his wife..they have a weird relationship

if there are grown business men hiring dominatrix to please them or some suffering from infantilism...then why cant Ram be odd?

He cannot fathom that a woman would love him and vice versa

he is like a kid..he lost his mother at a young age..and there is a big kid like part of him that exists

plus its an Ekta show...the fact that we are getting some good moments is a blessing...some of us who have seen Kasam Se ..know how bad a show can go...

Yeah the show can be better but if Ram were all serious and Priya were all miss proper...would you watch a show that shows normal pple having monotone conversations?

we all have our strange beh'rs , habits and idiosyncrasies

A man as rich as Trump cant find a proper wig and thinks his comeover is okay...to me that is weird..to another that is okay


and who says a rich guy should behave in a certain way.? that is stereotypical and then pple would complain about that as well

Malinn - so are you saying that one cant not become rich and successful without having seen naked women and sleeping around? That's a very blanket statement on rich and famous men/women. I personally know few like them.. not the 7th richest men in India but filthy rich folks who behave exactly like Ram does in BALH and yet still have a good character.

To say that him being the richest man in India should have certain behavior in his personal life would be wrong. One's personal space is his or her own domain that they can be themselves. I personally think the behavior that we see on TV from rich and famous is fake. They put their make up on and pretend to be the sophisticated class they are not.

I agree with you that the storyline does have lose ends and could have been handled differently but the nok-jok and complaining about husbands...i witness that from my friends all the time. And they dont mean it in evil way...nor does it mean that they dont love their better-half any less... they just need to get it out of their system since they cant run to their parents all the time with small concerns like that. which is exactly what Priya is doing when she is talking to Neha about Ram's issues/problems

I honestly think that BALH audience wants to see the kind of love and relationship and of course friendship that Ram and Priya trying to establish into their own life someday. It's sort of a dream world that somewhere each one of us want to be in for that 30 minutes of the show :)

It's entertainment at the end of it all...

If we go by what you are saying... Ram is not normal then... At 40... Being like that around women is eccentric behaviour... Abnormal in a way...

So now we have another pov... Another angle... Ram is abnormal... Because his mother left him ... So he "tranferred" his love towards his adopted family... Till they became an obsession... It is more than is normal... His love for his family... He accepted that his father "fathered" so many children through another woman...

Wanting to procreate... Is one of the basic needs right along with food clothing and shelter... If Ram has an abhorrence to it... Hmmm... Poor Priya... Do you think Ram is autistic then?????? Or needs pschiatric help then????? To accept Priya as a woman... And then wife... To get over his obsessive compulsive love towards his stepfamily... Accept his own mother?????

It's entertainment I agree... It's fun I agree ...

My point here is... That it's not a realistic or plausible plot... It's different from a saas bahu... But it does lack strong characterization... Which take away from the story...

To love or desire the opposite sex... Does not take away fromdecency... It is a part of us and how we are made... Anyways... It's just the way I feel... If you feel that this serial answers your need for entertainment... Such that you do not feel the need to question anything... Great...:)

Personally I think he just needs to go thru the motions of a 'normal' relationship, where one cares for each other, looks out for each other and ..loves each other..you cant shove a relationship down someones throat and Ram has been quite resistant from the beginning

if you run into a hermit in a forest, who has been living the life of a recluse and then start forcing down your own norms and start doing things for him/her..he/she will most likely club you with their makeshift weapon

Ram is kind of like a hermit..a recluse...he has shut out everyone and ..yes he does live for his family,,,and you feel that he is obsessed with them...which is your take.

There are some obv psychological issues..Ram has abandonment issues and 'mommy issues' (seriously why is the mother always). How that makes him autistic I am not sure? Perhaps you should read a bit about that disorder because being Psycho and Autistic are two different mental disorders

So your point about a hermit still points in the same direction... He does not think or behave like a person living in normal society... Or following societal norms...

It's not like his mother abused him... he can have an aversion to relationships... To love... A fear of a married life... I agree... But his behaviour towards Priya as a woman or for that matter any woman... Is a big turn off...

If he can't perform... Then he does need a shrink...

i didnt get what was so frustrating, he hated his own mother but loved step mom n even he said he loves apeksha (his one more step sister) why is she not calling him bhai
