I agree about relationships not being sugar coated...

Anyways... I find everyone going ga-ga over this serial... And loving raya etc...

But I find a lot lacking... Though I love this serial...

Like there is no sexual tension or chemistry between them... And yet they each talk of love?????? Man-woman kind of love has to have that basic awareness... Ram was willing to 'sleep' with Priya... In Australia... Just because Vikram told him???????

This time should be shown as a learning curve of each other while building an awareness... Dressing for the other... Waiting gor the other eagerly... Hesitant phone coversations... Dinners... Touchy-feely... Kind of stage...

Instead they show them fighting like a couple married for years...

Malinn, great post. Totally my point of view too.but I guess as you said may be its aimed at a different target audience . I am married more than 15 yrs but wouldnt bad mouth hubby even in front of a best friend. I will eat of his head and nag him to ends but never discuss with friends. As for divorce,never should be brought in even lightly. But this is a fiction show going great.the leads are fantastic. Ram Kapoor is adorable and Sakshi is a fab actress too . Both doing a wonderful job. They both are a feast to watch on the show.so all is forgiven. And this forum is for members to discuss different POV.

Yes there are loose ends in the show but at the end of the day, its better than some of the other saas bahu nonsense on tv...no serial is perfect

Apeshka story line was handled very very poorly..I cringed throughout that whole nonsense..especially passing Apeskha as a GF type to the audience was nasty considering she is his sister (smells of Essence D'Ekta)

Ram is a multi millionaire but he is a classless one at times...and it is obvious he is still a child in many ways..maybe because he didnt get to live his youth as a 'normal' child

As for gossiping about the husband...i know the 'snoring' complaint is common between couples and sometimes it is shared but its mainly with very close friends so I did not find anything too abnormal about that

The whole epi was for comedic relief if anything and of course most of these serials show things over the top with stereotypical and illogical beh'r

I mean look at those saas bah shows..where the bahu endures all the crap with a smile...is that believable?...nope.

One more point... On their honeymoon... Sakshi acted all coy with the nightie... But he acted like her father... Covering her up...
They never show Ram Kapoor as a man with normal feelings... He never once dsires her... I get the feeling that he is a 40 yr old virgin... Because he doesn't have those feelings...

He simply does not have any passion or desire for women or that kind of love... They had that falling on the bed and stare etc... But it was definitely not desire on his part... Just goofiness all the time is how they have developed the character...

Also remember that blouse scene...When it opens up... He acted so unlike a man...

hence the awkardness

he has never been around a woman..so one walking around with a blouse open or exposing herself is weird to him

remember he does not see Priya as his wife...yet...

Different POVs (no matter HOW different they are from your own) are ALLOWED. They are NOT useless or inappropriate. They are just different. And seeing as how this is a public forum with members from different age groups and locations, I hope that we can be respectful towards others and their opinions (not that we haven't been so for the most part) no matter how polar they are to ours. 😊

Hmm why isnt this used in other Forums for shows

normally I get attacked or my thread gets closed by the Mod..mainly cause of the buddy buddy system or because the Mod themselves are fans of the show

Too bad Mods here do what they want even though its not right most of the time..well thats my experience

But you have done good by posting the above disclaimer
as long as it doesnt get ugly...its all good to use your brain and think differently👏

Sweetie... One can't become India's 7th richest man... Without having seen a few naked women... He is well travelled... Attends business parties... Entertains foreign guests... Has women thrown at the most eligible bachelor... And he acts like a schoolboy...

She stands near his bed ... And screams and shouts on his head all the time... Like a frustrated father does to his teenage son... And Ram acts like a 6 yr old... Cvering his head/ears with the pillow... Acting wierd like she wants to pounce on him and ravage him like she's got the hots for him ( the time when Vikram/neha said priya is liking you)...

He usually sits on that bed... Looking like a stuffed toy... And making those supposedly cute faces... He is a 40yr old rich man... Why does he have to behave like a 6yr old??????

It's just a serial... And serials will come and go...

Nothing more to it... :)
