I know this is about last week's episode, but I've been busy in shifting & so didn't get the oppurtunity to post regularly, though I've read the discussion.

Some people have said that it looked like my love for sis vs your love while others have questioned why did Kartik let the matter come to a formal proposal before refusing it.

I think Kartik knew that nothing would make Nuts understand his position unless it was an outright rejection. Remember Nuts, before her suicide attempt, saying on the phone "you listen to me"? Though we weren't given the reason for her suicide, I have a feeling that Kartik refused to get married. Then this whole marriage thing came up & he felt that this is the only way to make her understand that he's serious about getting his sis married first.

Also the way Ram went about the business offer, at least he made it in a nice way & not like"I know you people are gold-diggers" contemptuous tone.

About Shipra & Sudhir, for so many episodes I was like she's definitely a step-mom too though they are not telling us. Then yesterday suddenly for some reason, I got a flashbulb moment.The way Priya keeps saying "I'll get married to whoever Papa says" & the way her pathetic dad keeps rejecting offers for a better one, makes me feel that 'Papa' is a step-dad who Priya idolises since she lost hers in childhood. The extra emphasis on the baap-beti bonding & Sudhir always quietly trying to make Shipra understand their daughter. It only brings out Shipra's character in the wrong light in front of her own daughter. Like someone said, at least she's trying her best.

Such quiet characters scare me. In real life too, I'm a bit wary of people who don't say much. Who knows what their actual thoughts are, though I'm not a cynic. I'm the complete opposite, whatever I feel I'll say it to the face. Sorry to digress, but the Sudhir character is making me creepy. In the future, it might come about that he was purposely refusing good offers so that the goose that lays the golden egg doesn't leave the nest. And the whole mild-mannered persona & wanting only the best for Priya was just a facade.

Sorry for such a long post. Was having a breather between packing & thought about posting 😊

Hi very interesting thought about Priya's dad. I would never have thought that.

Even though that might be a future track, Im hoping that doesnt happen coz I so enjoy this father daughter relationship..its something I never had and I wished I had a dad that I could confide in and that understands me.

But your thoughts are very interesting. Thanks for sharing them😉

Liked your analysis but I can't fully agree with u on Priya's Dad.In the world we cannot have only one type of personalitiy.We have Sanguines, Melancholies, Cholerics and Phlegmatics. Each personality has its unique characterstics and bring flavor to mankind.

Liked your analysis but I can't fully agree with u on Priya's Dad.In the world we cannot have only one type of personalitiy.We have Sanguines, Melancholies, Cholerics and Phlegmatics. Each personality has its unique characterstics and bring flavor to mankind.

Agreed that it takes all sorts, shapes & sizes to make this world. I'm not saying Priya's father's like that. All I meant was that this is kekta show, & all of a sudden a good person becomes evil. For eg, in KGGK, all of a sudden Avantika kiils her own husband & Pallavi too started working against the family. In a BT show, there're around 3-5 antagonists at a given time. But then, this show has a marked change from the earlier BT shows. So here's hoping Sudhir doesn't turn evil. Especially with the entry of this Shakuni mama.

You meant the future track! I thought abt the current track.Many times men though physically stronger are emotionally weak. He is somewhat like Mr.Bennet ,though intelligent giving way to his wife's silliness.Priya's Dad doesn't seem to be a sucess in life.The home they live in seems to be good accorging to Mumbai standards, so at some point in time he would have been doing good.. I hate the silly klepto Mamma!

May be Priya is not their own daughter and it may be like seeta and Geeta in a kind way...as i mean to say ...that may be Priya is Sudhirs bothers daughter and may be the flat belongs to her ...and so if they marry her off...they are loosing the property ..and now that they have Natasha as their new caretaker...they want to marry off priya as her job is done...😆
