Right people! I've started a new campaign. And this has more substance than my last few I'll admit 😆.

BAVD is the only show on tv that didn't follow the norm of casting a tall, slim, leggy lady in a leading role. In fact in went in the other direction and opted for someone completely opposite to the above. and for this it must be applauded.

However, I just don't think BAVD gets the coverage it deserves in the media. There are hardly in TB articles as it is, and even fewer segments on TV related shows such as SBS, SBB, etc. Which is a crying shame.

BAVD gets very little coverage, whilst flop shows (which shall remain nameless, but I'm sure you all know the ones I'm referring to 😉) are featured quite often. The last bit of 'news' we saw about BAVD on any show was during the second wedding track and since then? Nada? Nothing, zilch, nought...okay you get the idea! Not even a whisper from them about the whole leap thing either!!!

So to remedy this heinous oversight I am requesting everyone to email SBS detailing how dissapointed we are with their lack of BAVD coverage, and that in future the show should get more coverage. We also want to see behind the scenes news, interviews and latest happenings.

But the one thing we most definitely must stress is that we want to see interviews with the lead couple. How is it that we have seen few if any interviews of Juhi and Vikrant, either together or individually when the entire show effectively rests on their shoulders? 😡. I mean Vikrant deserves to be known, but surely Juhi should be getting more exposure than she is?

And I can assure you from personal experience that this method works. SBS are in constant interaction with viewers of these serials, and do act upon their suggestions and requests. I did it once already when I was a member of RKAB forum, and it was damn successful let me tell you! 😃

So get cracking and heres the email address for you all. We need everyones help. So silent members you need to get cracking too!!!

yes, i agree. this show truly deserves a high place in the soap world. bharti is an excellent character.
juhi needs all the appreciation in the world to bring this character to life. she made it possible to break all the norms of a conventional heroine...she deserves a huge round of applause...same goes for vikrant. i am a huge fan of these two... so yes, definitely i will write to the address mentioned by you.

i, just now had written to cheznazi for creating a bharti murli fan club over the net. she is smart and has the passion for the show... they would know there is quite a lot of following, which can help us get some better story and a longer life for our show.

I've been a huge fan of Vikrant for ages and now am supporting Juhi to succeed too!

I admire Vikrant for having the foresight to have taken on the role of Murli opposite someone who isn't a conventional leading lady.

This show, BharLi and Juhi give me hope in a world full of cynicism, hatred and prejudice. It has a positive message to impart to the masses and I think it should be given the exposure to do so.

@ALL - What a BRILLIANT idea! I am all for chipping in. @Hashbrown, thanks for the vote of confidence but I don't believe I am worthy of such a recognition because frankly there are others here who deserve this 'smart and passionate' title. From yourself to bavdfan to addicted to Rakhie to kt25 to vikrocks to fuzzyface to chatterbox to RAe24 and everyone else that I may have forgotten, absolutely everyone who religiously follows the show each day of the week is more passionate about it than I am.

Trust me, if Vikrant was a laloo then I would not be the show's fan. And, if Vikrant were to leave, I would drop the show like hot potato.

That said, I am willing to work with you ALL to come up with ways to 'make some noise' about the show. Incidentally, that was the reason I started producing so many YTVs.

Of course, I have conditions - the exposure MUST be given to both Bharti and Murli (i.e. Juhi & Vikrant). Vikrants is an outstanding actor, but Juhi deserves all the accolades for taking on such a mega star and holding her own.

The other day, when I was making the "Murli ko Bharti ki yaad nahi ayi" VM I realized that Priya Bhatija is just pretty. She really can't act! [okay, so all you Priya fans can bash me, but my opinion is the same of Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Sonam Kapoor and I am sure many of them. Heck, Juhi in my mind is a better actor than Aishwariya. It took Aishwariya 5 years to show real tears - Juhi managed it in months!)

So yah, Juhi deserves 70% of the credit for the show being a hit! Can you imagine, if Juhi sucked the show would have bombed in the first week!

Rakhie's idea is superb and we should all participate.

In fact, do we not already have a MURti fanclub here on IF? I know, you guys are calling the couple Bharli but for me, the show is all about aiso varr Murli with his little Bharti so I call them MURti.

And please note - I wrote MY OPINION which you don't have to share so please don't get personal and bash me just cause I named (maybe) one of your favourite star as a non-actor! Thank you!

What an absolutely fantastic idea Rakhie!! Defintely this show needs to get more exposure I always wondered why it was very thin on the ground- especially when compared to other shows bavd clearly depicts some struggle (could have shown more!) of a dwarf's life and I would have thought there'd be some hype about it!! 👏

You know it would be great if you could all post and let us know when you've emailed SBS. That way we can keep a track of numbers and responses to my campaign 👍🏼

Silent members please help. You don't have to post on here if you don't want to (though it would help with the above), but please atleast send a email to SBS requesting more coverage of BAVD.

bt with me mujhe lagta hai ki 36 ka aankda hai

i had been sending them mails since jassi time

nothing has happend
tried same with gkd too nothing

but go ahead with ur campaign

i wud join u to hold placards heeh

Aw I'm sorry it didn't work for you. That's a shame.

i sent an email to SBS last night, past midnight. it must be june 6th in india.
i wrote on IMAGINE'S you tube page.
will write to SBB today...and will continue doing it on regular basis. hopefully something positive is achieved out of it..
