Well, there was a lot of news in the media that Vikrant is going to leave BV when the first leap was going to take place but those news articles proved to be wrong bcoz Vikrant didn't leave the show. He was very much there after the first leap. It was only after the second leap taken in BV, he left the show & at that point of time there was no news of him leaving the show. There were just speculations going on among the BV members that is Vikrant leaving...there was no official confirmation till the news came that the role would be played by Sachin Shroff later which confirmed yes Vikrant has left BV.

Plus Vikrant had already bagged a role in BAVD while the actress opposite him too bagged another role in another show. So it wasn't Vikrant only who left BV but also the actress paired opposite him. In my POV, it was a good thing that Vikrant left BV at that point of time bcoz with the leaps going on, the role needed an elder actor to portray it & I think Vikrant is too young to play an elder character in the show LOL!😆

Plus his character in BV wasn't being given much importance in the show & he had nothing much to do. Despite being a fan of his I felt he should not just rely on BV but should find work in some other serial😉

I don't believe Vikrant has the habit of leaving shows in the middle. I think he is committed otherwise he would have left DV in the middle when his role was being sidelined completely despite him being one of the main leads of the show. But the show ended later & he continued till the end.

I don't watch BAVD right now & I don't read the updates (just a few comments in the Promo thread & EDT), so I don't know what's going on with his role or with the serial, so I won't comment whether it's a good step or bad step. But I'll definitely want to watch him in another serial😆 I miss watching him😆

I don't believe an actor has to continue working in the serial if he/she doesn't believe in the character or story or anything & can leave whenever he/she feels the CVs are losing it! Vikrant knows what he's doing... He'll do what is good for him😉 Whether he continues working in BAVD or not...it's up to him😆Do I sound like his lawyer defending his case🤣

Their trip to Vaishno Devi will be one of the high-points in the show after which the six-year leap will take place.

@sumisa91

i read this news article the day it had come out.
this doesn't indicate that vikrant is leaving the show. there is no confirmed news. so it is merely a work of speculation at this point. thanks for your input!

@vik rocks

thanks for giving a detailed description of what had happened at BV, and why did vikrant leave.
you do sound like a lawyer defending his case...good job done!! 😉
well, you don't watch BAVD, probably because you don't like it...but for people who like the show, have developed a close affiliation with the characters... for those, it will not be a good and welcomed news, if vikrant leaves the show...

this may leave us to a bigger debate as to what an actor should, or should not be doing...
in the past i have debated enough on these details...no need to do it here...
vikrant definitely knows what he is doing...he has every right to chose what he feels best for himself...but i have every right to criticize that decision if i get affected as a viewer...
i hope the story is good, and we get to see more of vikrant even after the leap...

Yes it doesn't indicate. But by gathering all like bits and pieces its all being made up and speculated...!

Vikrant has all the right to make choices in his professional career! If he feels he will not be able to do justice or the story line does not appeal to him, by all means he can leave! But yeah as we like him in this role, we have grown accustomed to seeing him and don't want to see him leave. For no one can play the role as he can, for the lovely image he has left in our minds!
If he does go also, I'll follow him to his other serial and become a fan of his there 😃! And give all the appreciation!!!

If Vik leaves of his own choice that's fine. I only stopped watching BV after he left, because the character of Shyam also became non-existent. He was reduced to a bit part and most times seemed like a prop piece!
If CVS bump him off because they don't know what else to do, then I have issues! 😡. There has always been plenty that CVS could have done to better the show, but every time they have resorted to the usual lame run-of the mill ideas.
He most definitely has the right to decide for himself what is best for him. If he wants to leave it's his right. But as a viewer, I see him as an integral part of the show and I can't imagine it without him. I would hate him to be killed off. But I would hate it even more if they kept the character but replaced the actor. So if Vik leaves, I probably will stop watching too. Not necessarily out of a sense of loyalty to him, but because I've seen how these decisions affect a show negatively, and my entertainment as a viewer.

OMG! How much did I love today's epi??? I LOVED IT X INFINITY!

From the first second to the last second I loved every bit of todays epi. How damn cute was the first BharLi scene. These two do the nok jhok so well. God it was so cute. Vikrant was just the typical man, not admitting defeat hahaha. And Bharti wiping his face was just awww. I loved it.

But I absolutely loved the second one even better. I have been waiting for Murli to embrace Bharti from the back like that ever since they got together the second time. I have been dying to see it happen. And today he did it! I nearly jumped out of my chair and whooped jor joy! It was such a tight and warm hug. But Bharti!

That girl needs to be shot. She doesn't deserve Murli I tell you. She has no idea how to give her husband the romancing he wants. Uff! Just for two bloody minutes could you not have put everything else aside and focused all your attentions on the gorgeous man holding you so tightly?? Two damn minutes woman! Two bloody minutes. Haila, I'm so happy and so mad at the same time. Murli looked ecstatic when he grabbed her from behind, but Bharti just poured water all over his joy. Just for two minutes couldn't you hold off on 'Campaign JhumRoo'??? If you don't want to kiss the life out of that man, send him my way!

ARGGH! I'm so mad at her. But I loved it all anyway. Oh God I think I'm going insane. I don't know whether to reach into the screen and plant a big one on Murli out of sheer joy, or slap one on Bharti out of anger!

Okay, end of today's episode, when the driver first noticed the car's brakes fail, his reaction to the situation was just retarded! Where did he learn driving, and how did he get his license? When you notice that the brakes of your car ain't working, and you're not in an emergency stop situation, the way you deal w/ it is shifting gears. Had he just gone from 5th to 4th, let it coast a bit, then 4th to 3rd, again let it roll, then 3rd to 2nd, he'd have gotten the car to a position where he could have stopped it on the side of the road.
Instead, he noticed way in advance that the brakes weren't working (probably low on brake fluid), and just kept driving normally as if nothing had happened 😡 That was easily a very irresponsible piece of reckless driving.
The other possibility - the CVs are a bunch of gawars who don't know how to manouvre a car, or what would be a credible near accident. Certainly not this one!!!

Vrish I agree 100%, this driver is the total looser,never seen a driving school from inside! Ok, if u does not use this gear shifting, the most natural reaction would have been to try the handbreak first! Ok, beeing in this situation u r not able to think a lot, but what i am talking about are reflects! But just to carry on if nothing has happened? Was he on drugs or all the CVs ? Will comment more on the WU!

Woah the man is scary in real life ! I don't know why but i feel that if i were in bharti's situation, i would have went ahead and talk to him.

It's just that if i knew i was about to die, i would like to know why.

@bavdfan - You must be really brave. If it were me I would just get as far as I possibly can from that guy. Even on screen he was freaking me out. If it were to happen to me in real life, I would literally run for my life (LOL), especially when he turned around and gave her the bone chilling look.
