I have some news for you :)

I was just looking through Facebook in my free time and happened to find Bansi Lal (Murli's Dad). And in his profile I found a wall-post by Veena saying we miss you papa and stuff. So from my guess I think Bansi won't be a part of the leap and they might show him bumped off the show!

Now all we got to do is wait and watch!

I'm so not liking this Friday as there is no BAVD! This is real bad 😭

Yes very true, Bansi's character has not all been played with in the show. He was like a mere statue just there to represent Murli's father the elder in the house. I can barely remember a few instances where he actually spoke up like powerfully. I guess that was in the starting few episodes where he has that asthama attack and stuff and then where he tells Kamala she was wrong in shouting at Bharti!

I wish they din't bump him off and removed Chimti, I will die I tell you if I spot her in the show again. Infact, I would be happy to have read that she was not going to be a part of the leap!

But since all of them are adults, in 8 years, there shouldn't be much of a change in Mridala, Jhumroo, Bharli & Veena, except maybe some greying hairs. If Veena stays, is it credible to think that in 8 years, she's not married - given that there's nothing else she's been doing? But assuming they narrate that she's married and off @ her sasural, that's a valid pretext to have her leave the show. But for the others, the only reason to do it is if they themselves want to leave.

If Murli decides to leave, the channel may itself decide to pull the plug on the show, methinks. It's not like the show's been doing well, so the only thing keeping it going imo is that the channel hasn't found a replacement serial so far.
