It's not faith to believe the characters lived above 100 years in Dwapara yuga. There is scientific evidence to support that lifespan of people 5000 years ago (when MB happened) was almost 150-200 years. Historians themselves state this, so it's not something based on faith alone. According to science, lifespan decreases with every era due to various elements like pollution, lack of exercise, diff foods, medicine, etc.
Bhishma and all the older characters were definitely 100+ years. People were not considered "old" until they reached 150 at least. After all, with Bhishma's great-grandons (Abhimanyu/Upa Pandavas) being old enough to fight in the war, he couldn't have been young, lol.
