It probably has something to do with the Mayavati story. Where, as a daasi of Shambarasura she made Pradyumna magically grow into a young man so that he could kill the demon as soon as possible. š

Yeah he was late 20s and so was Krishna but still it not possible that Krishna had a son old enough to participate in drapaudi s Swamyvaar so i think pradymuna was krishna s baby bro and not his baby
I think Arjun would have been in early thirties then and Pradyumna after an early marriage would have been around 16-17

Yes that was there too and anyhow I don't think Pandavas were less than early thirties at the time of Swayamwar

That would have been so awkward both pradymun and his uncle the great pandavas competing for drapaudi s hand š
Plus I don't believe in such stories. I will take these people as mere mortals.

Ha ha. And Pradyumna lost despite being such a great warrior

Problem with that theory is Yudhishtira would've been married by then.
I have a feeling he was because it is mentioned (not MBh, one of the other texts, I think) Prativindhya was lost in Ekchakra and found by Arjuna during imperial campaign.
Since Panchali didn't stay in Ekchakra long enough to have a baby and lose him, I think he belonged to Yudhishtira and first wife. Once princess of Panchal came into picture, she would need to be made patrani because Panchal and Krishna essentially bankrolled the Pandavas' return to relevance.
So yeah š. Whole point of that was to say Yudhishtira could well have been in his early 30s, with Arjuna late twenties and twins following.
Subhadra was not 13 at the time of abduction
Her description is that of a full grown woman. 16 or 17 perhaps. Rig Veda says marriage after minimum 3 years of menstruation or some such. So 16 ish sounds right.

No. None of the Yadavas participated.
Yeah but he was present right. That was the point

Did he compete tho? I thought all the Yadavas were cheer-leading? š
I guess that can be de-divine-fied as ke Krishna married really young and had a kid before any of his peers started marrying and then Prady also followed in his Dad's footsteps and started doing romance and shiz pretty early. š

Possible but since vajra inherited indraprasth i would like to believe he was yudhishtra s grandson.
