1. Import the vid into PS
2. Make the gif (sizing, timing etc)
3. When done, click on the FIRST layer in the "Animation" window and the LAST layer in the layer panel (Eg, if you gif has 144 frames, then click on the 144th LAYER)
4. Select the "Horizontal Text" tool
5. Apply it on the gif.
6. Write text. When satisfied, press enter!

When i select import--> Video frames to layers in photoshop its showing like this..

'Could not complete the video frames to layers command because Quicktime version 7.1 or later is required'

Now What to do now??

you must have Quicktime player installed on your PC, preferably the latest version.

Download it from here and install it. Then import the video, it'll be converted to frames and made gifable.

Sri - the link you gave is no different than the portable one.

Also, my CS5 doesn't show font sample :( CS3 did! Here only the list of fonts is there but no Sample of it accompanying it.

Anyone got the link to CS5 Extended??
