Astha never had habit of hiding truth until she came to know that Great mom Simran, Coward dad Abhi, Hopeless sister Sia, grandparents, best friend Sid, loving Nanu Saurabh and everyone around her lied to her in all these years. They did not lie once but did hold on to their habit of hiding truth (to wait for right time 😕 ) until Kiran told her truth along with her perception which misguided little girl.

Abhi very easlity said that Astha's behaviour is similar to Neha and Radhaji, can he not see that her short temper is like her dad, mr phtographer abhi turned mr musaphir turned pseudo philosopher Anand?

It's all due to Abhi's mistake that Simran, Astha are having problems. If I cannot crawl inside TV, at least I can learn this lesson in life that one should not be implusive like our Abhi!!

😆 Even I was thinking the same, chikoo, about Abhi's short temper! But of course Abhi won't see that. I think Aastha completely has that short temper from him! 😆
And yes, Aastha has started lying too. I too hate it when Simran/Abhi want to wait with telling the truth. Cowards! They've seen how far lies have brought them, not only once, still they didn't learn their lesson. What nonsense, "waiting for the right time"! 😡 If they can treat Sia as an adult, but still act like Aastha is a kid, then of course Aastha will never grow up. Anyway, glad this is just a serial, not really happening in my life at least! 😃

And moreover, Astha has shown her maturity in front of Simmi-Abhi by:
1. Agreeing to their wedding
2. Acknowledging the fact that she' ll not hurt them any more and apologized.
3. Moving back to Simmi's house.

If she was showing all these reactions, can not they now tell her the truth and explain things. Well, I think they are still patching up and hardly have time to look at Astha's perspective. Poor girl, I sympatheize with her
😭 😭

Well said wawa! 👏

As we have seen in numerous instances that Abhi has been a big time coward and ran away from all and Simran was also not strong enough to overcome her own issues (insecurity etc), conclusively neither of them were very strong, come to the fact of facing the truth or speaking truth in public.

To apologize also one needs strength and Simmi-Abhi are longing for it since the beginning.

Kamathrekha..the problem here is that Aastha got to know the truth from other sources..she never directly got to hear it from Abhi-Simran. Have Abhi and Simran ever sat down with Aastha and taken her into confidence?? Never!!! They have always treated her like a baby. If Simran had told her beforehand that Neha was her mom, I am sure Aastha would have accepted it in a mature way. If Simran had told her that she had met Abhi in Goa, Aastha would have been very delighted and looked forward to their reunion. But no, Simran had to meet him behind her back and then lie to everyone. How would Aastha react after finding that everyone but herself knows the truth? I am not saying that Aastha is a mature human being, she's just an impulsive teenager who just needs to be felt loved, be taken into confidence and made to feel a part of the family, sadly all of which is lacking in Abhi-Simran's parenting 😡

And I agree with wawahehe

Another point is that when Sia came to know the truth, she met with her own ones. Remember how she reacted when she overheard her nani-mom talking about their lie. Sia decided to leave the country implusively. Somehow we always forgive Sia's mistakes.

When Astha came to know the truth from other, she learnt that she has lost her own people... her nani is in mental asylum, courtsey .... 😡 😡

Those two lovebrids are themselves trying to adjust and probably they are not able to give the time and attention Aastha is expecting (right or wrong, sometimes parents have to sacrifice a lot to bring their kids on the right track).

One thing that I have been thinking, Abhi ran away from home reading Neha's diary - probably, it was his guilt that made him do that. Shouldn't he have apologized to Aastha first even before showing his right on her by shouting/ yelling at her? Simran and Abhi know that Aastha is behaving because she believes that they caused her mother's death. Will they become small in front of Aastha if they just apologize to her and tell her that they did not do anything intentionally and were not even aware that Neha was suffering because of them ?

I agree with you wawahehe, simran and abhi just need to be upfront with astha and tell her the truth but now actually so many things have been hidden from astha that it will take her a long time to believe anything that they say. Sias going to kiran was the most idiotic thing ever and i wish i could smack her for that, that is the catalyst for kiran and astha starting a friendship of sorts.Sid too should muster all his so called courage and tell astha the truth about his feelings, I dont agree with asthas behavior most of the time but the lying and hiding facts from her is making her more vindictive and out of control.

Peace..Sia lover 😊

I never said that Aastha is a mature girl...she's not. What I meant is that she is not entirely at fault. Simran and Abhi are definitely to be blamed as well.

And you think that Sia is a very mature, refined girl..was it a mature thing to go to Kiran and spill the beans on Aastha? If she had kept her mouth shut, Kiran would never have tried to sway Aastha. Also was it a mature thing on Sia's part to announce her parents' wedding in front of everyone, without taking Aastha into confidence first? C'mon Aastha is her sister and has a right to know things as well. That action definitely alienated her further.

So the bottomline is that both Sia and Aastha have their faults and it's wrong to blame Aastha for everything. Got it 😉

Good points, Coolgal!

Apart from Sia's immature acts listed by you, I would like to add, they way she was throwing herself on Anand to catch him redhanded as murderer of her friends, was that a wise thing to do?

Is it wise to fall in love with a person who is 25 years older than you?

Sia has done and is doing her share of stupid things and Astha is doing too. Can't just blame all of it to Astha. Infact, I feel that neither Astha or Sia are at fault for their actions. Their upbringing lacks a father in very mysterious circumstances. Abhi is the sole responsible for the current mess. 😡 😡
