My Opinion!!

I joined this group a lil while back and usually came on just to read the updates. But now since I've got no school and no job I actually started reading other pple's posts and opinions about what is going on in Astitva.
I thought that the point of a forum was to allow pple to say whats on there mind!! And thats the thing that makes forum's like this so interesting!

Recently I posted a comment about Sia's appearance and out of my knowledge found it modified because it was rude by none other than our global moderator "sree". Personally I found it rude that such a diverse group of pple were not allowed to intake my opinion because it was offensive.

I just wanna know wut u guys think about us not fully able to express how we feel!!😕

I haven't seen the post you mention before it was edited, but I'd just like to draw your attention to the fact that a lot of the viewers of this forum are as young as 12...therefore sree has to use her discretion in what is allowed here... 😛

Personally, I think she is doing an absolutely fabulous job and have yet to find one person to complain about her...So, bearing in mind her track record, I think she has probably not done it so that she is rude to you, but to protect others from being offended by something that may be rude... 😉

Thanks for coming out with this topic and post. Sorry, i did not see this earlier, was busy yesterday, so i did not reply.

Sabz, I agree that i modified your post. The intent of editing or trashing a particular post is always for the benefit of the forum. This forum is known for giving great freedom to its members. We never stop you from posting your mind. The only thing we always request our Dear members is that they should not use abusive words, use profanity in the forum. We mods try our level best to keep all the sections neat and tidy.

You wrote something about Sia's appearance where you used all sorts of abusive words for Sia. Sabz, i want to reiterate the fact that i DID NOT edit this post just bcos Sia is my favourite character, and i am Pro- simran(as Wawa quotes above).

This edition has nothing to do with who is my favourite character in the serial and who is not....Eventhough i have been a great fan of simran and her values and also Abhi, all might have noticed in my discussions and talks that i have not always supported Simran. When Moderating is concerned, i never have this so-called BIASED approach in my mind.

We have a set of Rules called Code of Conduct in IF, in which one point is very clearly written that no posts which are abusive and have profanity in them should be allowed...So i am just doing my duty, as far as my knowledge goes, i always have taken up a fair jugement call in all the situations i have seen in IF...

Wawa, i do not mind you all not favouring Simran. But, the reason why i edited Sabz post was bcos there were some abusive words written for one the character. We never stop you from writing. Sabz and Wawa, we only request all our members here to keep the forum neat. After all, we all called Astitvans, members of one BIG family. So don't you think it is the responsibility of every member to keep their own section clean?

If this is the case, why not we all try to make this section more neat and readable? I have always encouraged all my members to write and post. I have never stopped any of you all in posting. But i have been making only one request to you all to use neat and clean words in your discussion.

If you are Anti- Simran, we never bother. After all, we are lving in a democratic world where every person can express his/her feelings. I only request you to avoid using bad language while putting forth your arguments. An argument and discussion can be very well written without using any abusive words, i am very very sure of this...

So why not we all strive hard to keep our section clean?

I know it's not very abusive but it does sound defiant.I am also aware that you wrote it before you heard from Sree.We would be grateful if you did the needful.

Sabz, i think if you really understood and agreed to what i have said, i think you will surely edit your statement. Anyway, the decision is yours.

Hope all the members hold on to their stand of keeping their own Astitva Section clean....😛 This is a request i make as a Mod of this section.
