i agree! i undetstand aastha being mad at simran but that doesnt mean she should try to ruin her life! i think the best thing would be that they should all leave aastha alone and that would teach her the real meaning of love..

I think the biggest problem with us is that we treat our kids as kids till they themselves have kids and in some cases even after and that is exactly what Simran is doing. I think Astha is old enough to be responsible for herself and her actions - so should be treated as one. I realize she is hurt but she needs to grow up.

Astha not only should be left alone that too in a jungle. She some times is as furious as a lioness.

Astha is what she is, but more than her I blame Simran for letting her get away with all this crap!! Lately Simran has become very irritating...all she does is either cry or make a really pathetic face!! (Sometimes I just want to slap her instead of astha, God!!) She needs to understand that she is the MOM...and take control of the situation. Her all forgiving attitude and over the top display of love for Astha is becoming very unconvincing and artificial.

Astha has reasons to be upset, but everything has a limit. She needs to realize that there are situations in life you don't have control over. She is so mad and upset with Simran who raised her and gave her everything a parent can give. She loves her dad who had abandoned her. Simran needs to step and put Astha in her place. If she wants only to be with Abhi and her grandparents then let that be. Don't get me wront I think Simran and Abhi belong together, but not a the expense of Sia. Sia's and Ashta situations are not very different from each other so why is she being forced to live without BOTH of her parents, just to make Astha happy.

Simran should live with her own daughter who also longs for motherly love.

I think Simran is to be blamed coz she is going so easy with Astha.. She obeys her in everything, she keeps saying, do this do that.. and Simran does it immediately.. this doesn't make any sense..
They even took her permession to get married!! Yes, they lied to her at the beginning, but I think she should be over it by now..
I agree with bubblegum, Simran's goody goody attitude is irritating..

I agree with all the views given and I do not understand why so much importance is given to Aastha. Are they showing the right values one has to instill in their children.

I used to like watching this show and would never miss any of its episodes but lately I do not mind missing the show.It is really beginning to be a drag and monotonous and one gets bored watching the same thing over and over again of Simran trying her best to win over Aastha and she being in a bad mood all the time. This is what is happening episode after episode.

Very soon it will be no different from Piya Ka Ghar where they keep adding characters to continue the show.

I think Simran's behaviour is very wrong in handling this situation. Being a mother of teenagers I know that giving them slap isn't practical and not the solution in this age but parents need to sit with the kid and try to explain each and everything to them, try to convince them through logical points which their minds can accept. Both Abhi and Simran should sit with Aastha and ask each and every fear, insecurity or jealousy, whatever is bothering her. They should'nt let her go or shout just ask calmly for the reason of this behaviour, I am sure deep inside her heart she already justified herself for being rude with Simran, she definitely have some reasons for this attitude but sorry to say Simran never tried to talk to her and solve this problem. Whenever Aastha is misbehaving with her,she just listen and quit, never tried to sit and convince her.
