It is good so far. I have only reached the stage when they all see Mr. Darcy at the dance and though they all agree he is handsome, they think he is a big snob:-) I guess it will get more interesting as I read on.

Hmmm, no one in particular.. They all seem either too nice or too bad. LOL. Initially I thought Simran was real because of her trauma (especially because of her MIL) and the way she handled certain situations, her helplessness, yet her determiend attitude but later on she became more of a "superwoman" as you correctly mentioned in another thread..

--who is your favourite astitva character and why?

I like Shaguna as she is really sweet - sincere and fun loving at the same time did not take nonsense lying down, the way she yelled at Aastha when she deserved it..I also liked the character of Anandi very much, pity they had to kill her. So sensible, down to earth and sweet! Simran I liked for the reasons mentioned above though she does go overboard many a time. Manas I really respected until Rhea came into his life (not that Rhea was bad but because of the way he handled the relationship and the way he let it affect Sonu). I do hope to see him return as the sensible, dependable Manas we all knew:-) So, I guess I have more than one favourite character:-)

There are many situatione before the leap that I liked - I loved it when Mrs. Saxena apologized to Simran in the hospital and the way Simran reacted. The whole situation was rather touching, Mrs,. Saxena realizing her folly and Simran being graceful enough to forgive her (of course that part is not new, right?😉)

--what would u like to now happen in astitva?

Actually I would like it to end ASAP, because if they don't it will become a drag just like so many other shows we see. I would like them to re-introduce Manas and I also hope Aastha is not dead. Sigh.. And of course last but not the least I would like Simran to get her eyesight back..

I also forgot to add that I like Sandra Brown and Jeffrey Archer! When groing up I also liked Enid Blyton's books. Oh, I was a fan of her books - growing up..My daughter is too young for that but in a few years I certainly want to introduce her to her books..

Hey zee congarats to be selected as MOW, good to know about you, your daughter is Meghna, I read it today & yesterday I was telling Ahad my older son that the two girl names I like a lot r meghna & megha, but unfortunately I dont have a daughter, now I m waiting for my son to get married & have a daughter...ahhhh long wait, anyways...my lot of love & duayain for sweat Meghna, she is precious, enjoy her age, they grow up so fast......

Thanks Farhana. Oh, so you like the name Meghana! Good idea, you can probably wait for your sons to get married and have daughters. 😉 I agree this is one of the nicest times.. I love this age as she is independent to some extent but is still a little child.

Wow Aloo_Gobi, very intriguing and thought provoking questions. Wish I had seen them earlier and not at 10:30 at night! I would have been able to reply today then.. Was busy for a good part of the day today as we were trying to settle into our new home..buying stuff and arranging things.
