Hi Pallavi

Congrats on being the MOW. I have been closely reading this new category and every member till date were really nice people. I really liked the way you have been answering all the questions.

My questions:

Did you study in bangalore? if so where did you get your education from?

Do you beleive in numerology or astrology?

What do you think, is the most treasured thing in anyone's life?

Take care and it was wonderful getting to know you more.

Hi Pallavi,

You know, I can't picture you to be a short-tempered person because you're always answering all the questions so patiently! But the rest of your qualities totally match your personality😊

Even I am very emotional Pallavi, I don't like to be though because I can't ever hide my emotions. Do you consider being a emotional person as a good or bad quality?

I actually have a family friend living in Bangalore. You've mentioned a few differences between the two cities. Which do you prefer better and why?

I didn't see Masoon but now that you mentioned it, it sounds like an awesome movie. You convinced me to watch it😛 I'll definitely put that on my movies list.

You're right Pallavi, our tastes are very, very similar. I really like Sushmita too and everything you said about Aishwarya is completely true😊

Wow, marriage life sure involves a lot of responsibility right? Do you think that married life is better or single life, where your parents take care of all the responsibilities?😉

I wish you and your family all the best for the future. I really enjoyed interacting with you through these questions. All your answers were great!😊

Thanks,

Jen

Hi Jen,

LOL. Thanks! Actually I am not inclined to lose my temper here because I enjoy answering the questions here!:-) But I lose my temper with certain people with certain attitudes and who just manage to push my button at times.. Not a good reaction..

Even I am very emotional Pallavi, I don't like to be though because I can't ever hide my emotions. Do you consider being a emotional person as a good or bad quality?

Yes, sometimes I don't like it either especially when my emotion is Anger:-)! When it comes to happiness, etc. I don't mind and it is OK but like you said sometimes I too feel that what I feel is very easily known to others..

I actually have a family friend living in Bangalore. You've mentioned a few differences between the two cities. Which do you prefer better and why?

Oh, where in Bangalore does your friend live? I like both places for different reasons.. I like the life and activity and liveliness of New York but I also like the pleasant attitude most people have in Bangalore.

I didn't see Masoon but now that you mentioned it, it sounds like an awesome movie. You convinced me to watch it😛 I'll definitely put that on my movies list.

Yes, I am sure you will like it! Let me know your opinion of it once you see it.

You're right Pallavi, our tastes are very, very similar. I really like Sushmita too and everything you said about Aishwarya is completely true😊

Oh, that's good to know. We undoubtedly have similar tastes..

Wow, marriage life sure involves a lot of responsibility right? Do you think that married life is better or single life, where your parents take care of all the responsibilities?😉

Again, both have its pros and cons.. I do enjoy the close knit relationship a husband and wife share but do miss the carefree days of school and college..If you are not married - do make the most of your 'life as a single person' now..

I wish you and your family all the best for the future. I really enjoyed interacting with you through these questions. All your answers were great!😊

Thank you and I enjoyed interacting with you as well!! Good luck to you as well. Keep your questions coming and keep posting..

Thanks,

Jen

Thanks Pallavi for your quick response.

Yes, I am from bangalore and I really love the city and miss everything there.

I studied in KV(central school) malleshwarm and then Kumaran's and followed by Mahveer Jain...

what is your fav spot/place in bangalore?

Which is your fav festival?

Do u belive in god or demon? If so why? (I know this is bit tough)

If you had one day to cherish the way you want? What is that you would like to do that day?

Take care and this is fun :)

I liked they way you have described your dream house.. The warmth, freindly and the "family" feeling is more important than how many bedrooms and other things.. 😊

You know, whith so much question you are being asked, I feel now that my box of questions is empty.. 😆

Ok, let me think....

When you were a kid/teenager, I'm sure you had your own dream and expectation about the life you'd would be living.. Is your current life similar to what you had in mind?

Thanks;-) I have always felt that that is more important than how massive a house is! I also don't like the elitist attitude where one tries to build/own a house as huge as it can be just to try and be elite or high-class or for the sake of an image.

You have asked good questions.. I have enoyed answering them all. There are a few questions which I expected people to ask but that has not yet been broached.. The topics concern my daughter, her school, etc, also my work environment and things like that.:-) I guess that maybe because those topics have already been discussed quite a bit in detail with other members..

During my late teen years, I did start to get rather ambitious.. I always wanted to do well career wise and wanted to have a passion for what I did.. I can definitely say that I do and am happy to be doing what I am doing, and working in the environment that I am working..As for my personal life, I met my husband in college and gradually we realized that we did want to marry. So, never had much opportunity to dream about an imaginary 'dream man'😉.

Hi ii! happy Diwali to you as well:-)

great answers you're putting together....

Thank you!! I am glad I am doing justice to the great questions all of you are putting together..

ok - i'll do the deed you want done! 😉

Tells us about your daugher and her school...

Thanks..LOL... Not that I was upset or disappointed, just surprised that people did not ask me that, as I thought that was one of the most common questions to ask..

The previous school my daughter was in was really diverse in terms of the kind of people who attended the school. We all loved the school and there was a healthy of mix from people of all backgrounds and cultures there. People were down to earth, practical and very sweet. Teachers were also very nice..

We moved her to a new school because we moved homes.. The people are basically nice here as well (after all they are all kids) but I am a little disappointed to see very little diversity here! Teachers are patient and friendly but I somehow think the lack of diversity (my daughter is the only Indian in the class) kind of makes my daughter feel there is a difference and she misses her old school no end. People have told me that I need to give her more time and that she will be fine soon but I am just a tad worried. I just wondered if this reaction is common.

Also, tell us about your work, the environment and the people there

Work environment is great. Talk of diversity!! Also, we have a good manager who gives the freedom we require and does not micromanage! I will miss this company when we move back to India (though I can take a transfer I suppose). But I will miss my group..

cheers 😆

[quote]

I believe in God because I do not believe that the earth, universe and life in fact came into existence by itself.. There are certain aspects of life that science cannot explain and if you put God in the equation a lot of it seems to make sense.. As I wrote in one of my above posts I also cannot believe that death is the final thing and that it is nothing but a dreamless sleep. I believe that some kind of a super consciousness exists after death.

I do not believe in a Demon as such because I believe that basically symbolizes evil and it is possible that there is a hidden side in human beings with demonish/demonical qualities in them which can be addressed and changed.

BTW, I sometimes wonder (silly thing to wonder about), who is it who proved that death is inevitable? Has science proved that? Or are we all just going by past observations:-)?! I would like to hear yours and other people's input on this..

Hi Pallavi,

That is exactly what I think. Their would have been no universe, nothing without that one power, which we call God. I beleive that Ramayan happened, Mahabhart took place and all the stories we hear about the God's avtaar.

I beleive that Demons/ghost exists too. I also think their is something after death, which no one knows..

I really liked the way you answered. Very apt.

I have more questions know

I am a software engineer too and saying that, how do u manage between house, work, social life and logging into IF?

IF is addictive for me...not sure about you. How are you able to concentrate on your work when you get back to working?

What do you think is most important in any friendship?

Do you beleive having one best friend is better than having 100 friends?

In your earlier reply, you said, you ignore women who speak ill about India. I think I really liked what you said their. I probably would have fought with them for saying that (lol). What do you think about those women, who are sweet to you in the front and in the back they only spread bad rumors about you. In US, I see more people like this and not sure if it is my thinking?

Hope I did not bore you :-)

Anitha
