However, Break-up patch-up should not be needed theme to be repeated over and over again for a show which is that short imo. I have watched few Indian shows that have been great for episodes and episodes (like 100 and more idk lol) without the break up drama 😆
The rare K-dramas that didn't have that were such a treat to watch (of course they did have it for at least an episode because its hard to resist that theme apparently ) 😆
Totally agree to the whole explanation there 👍🏼 You put it in a very good way there😃

Na yaar...characters like "us", I can warm upto and relate to.. but I think this discussion started becoz of FL of Misty... she is someone I couldn't warm upto since she isn't like us.. she is too extreme who doesn't mind hurting others ONLY becoz of her selfish reasons... she isn't someone who is an "average individual" ...at the same time such people do exist... there are over ambitious people in the world who will do anything for their "greed and position" yet have some positive traits... even they are just as "real" .. but such characters I can't relate to and they fall in the "grey zone" or even little beyond that for me!...That's why I said our definitions are a bit different...But it's also true that liking depends on how well a character is executed (again it's subjective)... may be that's the reason many liked her...while I just didn't! ... ending my share of "essay writing" here...😆

You got holidays Tris?! What are watching atm? ... Did you start anything new?

THose grey characters that more on the evil side... I get it... like Lucius Malfoy, maybe even Draco Malfoy 🤣
I think there are levels of grey characters then. I see them as not just all goody-goody or pure evil (if they even exists). I believe grey characters are mixture of both. They can be more selfish than "usual"(subjective) or more selfless. Yeah 😆
@bold your timing of asking this is... surprising... 🤣
Anyway, my holidays just got over today... well, kinda 😆
Guess what I am watching 😉
You'll find out soon enough 😆

[[SPOILERS for the movie]]

@Shaz... finished watching the movie! .. Tho it was likeable but I wouldn't have watched it had I known it had "sad ending" and none survives except 2 people ... how very heartbreaking!... 😭 .. There was too much of zombie nonsense for my taste .. but characters were very likeable to hold my interest! ... Loved the guy and his pregnant wife ... also the teens .. and ofc ML and daughter ... they all should have survived ... 😡 .. overall a decent flick .. one time watch!

Yes.. its heartbreaking.. and that added to the essense of the movie and made it more gritting .. IMO
Well its a zombie movie so there is zombie nonsense.😆. but I loved the characters.. And the way they were escaping the zombies.. it was thrilling .. ⭐️
Well I could see why the ML would die..the whole zombie epidemic..it was his and his company's fault .. as it was shown in one scene.. and he was already guilt ridden and knew somewhere in his heart that he would not be able to survive.. That scene when he thinks about his daughter just before dying is 😭😭 Everyone dying was a given. . It was more real IMO.. in the end I was just happy that atleast the preggy lady and the girl survived 😊
This was the first and last zombie movie for me.. 😆 i hate this genre as much as u do 😆

Finally fished watching Kill Me Heal Me! Oh the last four episodes were sooo good!
Since I was not hating on the twin brother anymore, it was better to see him on screen too ⭐️
The show is so beautiful. I loved all the personalities!

[SPOILERS for Kill Me Heal Me ahead]
Shin Se Gi!! The way he was developed was so so so heart breaking to watch :(
The song gave me goosebumps every time flashback was shown
Since Cha Do Hyun was actually FL's name as a kid, how do we know Cha Do Hyun was not another personality created by Joon-young (ML's name as the kid). He could've just been a dominated personality rather than the original personality they showed him to be. But we or characters in the show would've never known for sure either, so I guess they kept it clean and kinda straight forward.
I am still not sure what explanation was given for given for Ahn Yo Na's creation. When she was leaving she thanked FL for being friends with her, so I am expecting she was created because of how lonely and closed off ML was :(
The way the twin brother said his goodbye was so unexpected though. I started liking his bonding with the FL too. He was super smart but kinda depressed, which sucked
His entry scene, when he was about to commit suicide kept me on edge while watching! The whole Kill me Heal Me thing was revealed there too ❤️
The twin brother is literally traumatized for life by Yo-na JAJAJAJ
Oh man, Perry Park finally got me when his making was revealed. 😆
It's so amazing to watch how the child's brain had conflicting images father so he created two personalities reflecting it. I wonder how Perry Park was actually protecting him though, because personalities are supposedly there to protect the person. I am guessing he didn't want the hate to take over for the father as he saw some good in him as a child too. Why was he older than everybody else though? Was he reflecting his dad's image? It's all so sad :(
I am not gonna discuss FL as a doctor much 'cause there were so many loopholes there. I didn't really like her as a psychiatrist much really. However, her childhood trauma was huge and scary. The NaNa personality was actually Cha Do-Hyun (kid)! ❤️ It was very heartbreaking to watch them. THat personlaity said she didn't know how to leave, call Mr. X! Her dead father! GOOSEBUMPS!!!
Mr. X's personality appearance was a thoughtful addition on writer's part.
I am surprised and happy the creators did their research!
However, Se Gi's whole character was acted pretty uniquely by the actor, and the show was pretty realistic too... so help me, what on earth was the point of that tattoo that kept appearing with Se Gi's personality???!
Overall, I'm so grateful I watched this show. So much to learn about Dissociative Identity Disorder!
Thanks to everyone for recommending me this show and encouraging me when I almost gave up 😆

@Poo .. I wouldn't call the guy from Secret LOve grey since he was out for his revenge thinking the girl killed his fiance .. he was still a positive character! ... I really can't think of any ML character that can be compared to the FL of Misty! ..

@Tris ... Same ML in MOTS I wouldn't call him "grey" either .. not compared to what FL does in Misty! ... Compared to that FL, Hyun Bin character is a "saint" ... 😆
I get about the ML of KMHM but he's got his reasons and they were valid reasons ... I wouldn't compare him to FLs of Indian dramas who are there to out perform who's the most goddess like ... 😆
I guess my definition of "grey" and "positive" characters is a bit different than yours ... 😆

Yes..That's what I said too later on..May be Chief Kim and Young Pal..In the beginning they do work for wrong people knowing it but later on go on right path!!!

Yes..Tho Jin Woo does pay the money Se Ju asked..So I don't think so..

Positive characters are usual ones you see in kdramas..The hero and heroines..You can take second hero too..Who are too good and cares for heroine more than hero..😆 Ji Hoo from Boys Over Flowers for example!!!
Grey shades as done by Go Hye Ran in Misty is not done by any so far in kdrama hero wise..It was one of a kind role even for a female lead too..That's why Misty got famous and Kim Nam Joo totally slayed her role..And even won award for it!!!

Hye Ran does cross the line but not fully where its not salvageable..Is extremely selfish and can go to the extend ordinary people won't go with her boldness to reach their ambition!!! As you said its a subjective matter..

There was so many discussion on it when it was on air..Damn..Almost 4 years passed..They showed it mainly to differentiate Se Gi and Cha Do Hyun visually along with Se Gi's eyeliner!!! Yes..It was not realistic..They could have opted like showing veins raising predominately as I have seen in a movie when hero gets angry..

Exactly! It really had me doubting their representation of DID for a long time.
It's good people questioned this!
Whatever might be the reason, choosing magic in this situation was really not the best idea.
Oh wow four years! It must be so long for you! But thrn you know the shows that just stivk to you? Do you go back rewatch this show or like watch scenes of it?!😆
