Chapter 18

Arjun : Haan bhaiya main manta hu maine Riya se shadi property ke liye aur apne Nanu ka badla lene ke liye...

Someone was listening to their conversation. And the person was none other than Naina.

Riya :(in mind) Matlab Arjun ne aaj tak jo kuch bhi kiya hai wo sab natak tha. Aur wo kis badale ki baat kar raha. Maine toh Nanaji ke saat kuch bhi nahi kiya. Balki unhe toh mein apne Nanaji ke tarah manti thi.

While thinking all this she goes back to her room, so she don't hear the full sentences what Arjun said to Devang.

Arjun : Par bhaiya mujhe pata hi nahi chala kab mujhe usse pyar ho gaya. Ab chahe kuch bhi ho jaye main Riya ka sath kabhi nahi chodunga.

Devang: Par Arjun ji usne aur uske papa ne kiya hai dadaji ke sath uska kya.

Arjun : Jitna maine Riya ko abhi tak jana hai utna toh main samajh gaya hu ki Riya ne Nanu ke saat kuch nahi kiya hai.

Devang : Par..

Arjun : Bas bhaiya ab mujhe iss baare mein kuch baat nahi karni.

Saying so he moved out of the room and put his hand in the pocket to remove the phone but it was not there.

Arjun : Lagta hai room mein hi chut gaya.

Arjun went towards the room. Here Riya was in a messed up state. She was crying like there is no tomorrow. She heard footsteps of someone.

Riya : Shayad Arjun hoga phone lene aaya hoga.

Riya quickly went inside the bathroom before Arjun could enter the room. When he entered he saw his phone on the side table, he went and took his phone. He heard the sound of running water and understood that Riya was inside. He went from there.

After 15 mins Riya comes out after getting ready. She calls her advocate.

Riya : Hello Mr. Sharma main Riya Raw... Riya Mukherjee bol rahi hu.

Mr. Sharama : Haan boliye Riya ji kya kaam tha.

Riya : Maine jo papers thode din pehle banane bola tha vo ban gaye.

Mr. Sharama : Haan Riya ji wo tayar hai aap bolo toh main bhij va du.

Riya : Haan aadhe ghante main bhijva dijiye.

Mr. Sharam : Thik hai Riya ji.

She cut the call and started packing her luggage.

Riya : (crying) Main aise insaan ke saat nahi reh sakti jo dhokebaaz hai. Main aaj hi mumbai chali jaugi bhaiya ke paas.

In half an hour she was done by packing. The man of the advocate comes and gives the papers to Naina. Riya opens the paper and signs the paper and keeps it on her dressing table along with a paper and leaves the house forever. Prabha and Poonam went to the neighborhood and Kamlesh and Devang went to the office. So no one knew when Riya left the house.

After about 2 hours Arjun came back and called Riya but there was no response so he went from there to their room. He saw that the room was empty. He was about to turn to leave the room but his eyes fell on the papers kept on the dressing table. He went there and took the papers and started to read them. It was Naina's last letter to him. He opens the letter and starts reading it.

Arjun,

Congratulations tum apne maksad mein kamyab ho gaye. Tumne mujhse shaadi mujhe barbad karne ke liye ki thi na toh dekho ho gai main barbaad. Agar tum mujhe bol bhi dete na ki tumhe property ka wo hissa chahiye jo Nanaji ne mere naam kiya hai toh main khushi khusi de deti par nahi tumne mujhe se jhoot bola, tumne mujhe dokha diya. Ab tum soch rahe honge ki mujhe iss sab ke baare mein kaise pata chala. Maine tumhari aur Devang bhaiya ki saari baatein sunli hai. Maine saari property wapas se tumhare naam ke kardi hai. Ab main jaa rahi hu tumhari life se bahut dur aur kabhi laut kar nahi aayegi.

Riya.

Arjun was speechless. He fell on his knees and broke down.

Flashback over.

Riya and Lisa.

Riya : Main chod aayi usse. Sab chod kar yaha apne parivaar ke pass.

Lisa : Aap ek baar bhai se baat toh kar ke dekhti.

Riya : Kya baat karti mein tum hi batao kya baat karti mein? Ek taraf mere papa mujhe chod kar chale gaye. Aur phir pata chala ki main jise pyaar karti hu wo mujhe dhoka de raha hai. Main hi jaanti hu mujhe pe kya beeti hai us waqt. Laga jaise kuch tut gaya hai mere andar.

Inside the room.

Shree : Bhai aap Nanu ke katil (murderer) se kaise pyaar kar sakte ho.

Arjun : Shree nanu me ek baar kaha tha ki jab ek insaan ko pyaar hota haina toh wo yeh nahi dekhta ki saamne wala insaan kon hai aur kaisa hai. Bas pyaar ho jata hai. Aur ek baat Riya ne ya Rakesh Papa ne Nanu ka murder nahi kiya hai.

Shree :(shocked) Kyaaa... Agar unhone nahi kiya hai toh kisne kiya hai.

Arjun : Nanu ka murder.....

Arjun : Wahi reason jo unhone Riya aur Rakesh Papa ke liye bola tha.

Shree : Matlab Mama ji aur Mami ji ko bhi pata tha iss sab ke baare mein.

Arjun : Nahi unhe nahi pata tha. Unhe bhi vahi lagta tha jo unhone mujhe bataya tha.

Shree : Too aap ko uske baare mein pata kaise chala?

Arjun : Hua hu ki…

Flashback.

After 3-4 days Riya left the house. These days Arjun has become a living dead body. He used to do all the work but was not eating properly. His face lost its colour. The smile that always used to adore his face was lost.

He was going to the office when he heard Riya's name. He peed inside the room. There he saw Devang and Poonam talking.

Devang : Kya buddhu banaya hai hum dono ne sab ko.

Poonam : haa Devang ji sab sochte hai ki Riya aur Rakesh uncle ne Dadaji ka khoon kiya hai.

Devang: Par a unhe kya pata ye sab hamara kiya dhara hai. Kaise hum logo ne chalki se Riya ki bhegi hui kheer mein zeher mila dia aur usse dadaji ko vo kheer khila di. Sab ko laga vo heart attack se unki moot hui hai. Par phir pata chala ki Sari property bo buddha Arjun aur Riya ke naam karke chala gaya hai.

Poonam : Aur phir kya hum logo ne mummy ji aur papaji ko yeh bol dia ki Riya aur Rakesh uncle ne Nanu ka murder kiya hai par saare sabut gayab ho gaye hai. Phir vahi baat Arjun bhaiya ko pata chal gai. Aur unhone humara kaam aur bhi aasan kar diya.

Devang : Ab toh hamara kaam aur bhi aasan ho gaya hai. Arjun devdas bana betha hai aur jab tak vo hosh mein aaye ga mein yeh saari property apne naam kar di hogi.

They both laugh. Arjun was shocked. How could someone be this cheap? He went from there and started thinking what to do next. He took out his phone to call his lawyer and talk about it. But it was his fortune aur Devang's misfortune that his and Poonam's whole conversation is recorded in it.

He immediately called the police and told them everything and told the police to come tomorrow and take both of them.

Next morning.

As said the police came and arrested Devang and Poonam and Kamlesh and Prabha were numb. Kamlesh comes forward and slaps Devang.

Kamlesh : Kyu kiya tu ne Devang kyu kiya yeh sab ?

Devang : Aapki wajah se.
