This is the last chapter for this year. Met you all in 2023.

Chapter 17

Panditji : vivah sampan hua. Aaj se aap dono pati patni hai.

The elders congratulated each other and Ariya went and took Pandit Ji's blessings. He blesses them.

Panditji : Khush raho, sada suhagan raho, aur ek dusre ka saat kabhi maat chodana. Bhagwan kare tum logo ki jodi sada bani rahe.

They both come towards their family members. First they took blessings from Rakesh.

Rakesh : Khush raho aur ek dusre ko khush rakhna.

They both move towards Kamlesh and Prabha. They touch their feet.

Kamlesh : Jeete raho aur khush raho.

Prabha : Jeete raho aur sada suhagan raho.

At last they move towards Devang and Poonam. Riya was going to touch their feet but Poonam stopped her. And hug her.

Poonam : Tumhara Rawte parivaar mein swagat hai.

Devang : Welcome Riya.

Riya : Thanks bhaiya bhabhi.

Prabha : Chalo ghar ke liye nikalte hai.

Now comes the most difficult part, bidai. It was time for Riya to say bye to Rakesh. She hugs Rakesh and cries her heart out.

After bidai all sat in the car and went to Rawte mansion. In half an hour they were in front of Rawte Mansion.

Prabha : Poonam jara aa toh mere saat grah pravesh ki tayari karne. Riya beta tum yahi ruko.

Poonam : Haan mummyji aai.

Prabha and Poonam went inside to do the preparation. In 5 mins they returned back and did Riya's Grahpravesh.

Prabha : Dekho Riya Arjun tum dono ne toh shadi se pehle ki rasmo ke liye mana kar diya par tum ko shadi ke baad wali rasmein karni hogi.

Arjun : Par..

Poonam : Par var kuch nahi Arjun bhaiya. Aap dono ko karna hi pade ga.

Ariya : Thik hai bhabhi.

They both sat down on the ground to perform after marriage rituals.and they started to find the ring. All four started to cheer for them. First Arjun finds the ring. Then at a second chance Riya finds the ring. And in the last chance Arjun again won.

Mamaji : Dekha mera Arjun beta jeet gaya.

They play some more games and Poonam takes Riya to Arjun's room. Arjun went with Devang for some work. Riya was sitting on the bed and was waiting for Arjun. She was hell nervous not because it was their first night but because she was going to confess her love to him.

Half an hour passed but there was no sign of Arjun. Riya was tired so she slept while waiting for him. After more than 10 mins Arjun came inside his room. He comes inside with the intention of torturing Riya. But the site that welcomed melted this heart.

He saw that Riya is sleeping with a pout. She looked like a cute baby. He unknowingly smiles and sleeps on the bed on the other side.

Next few days were very hectic for Ariya. As Riya is the new daughter in law of the Rawte family, every now and then people used to come to meet her. And Arjun was busy in the office for the upcoming project.

It was after 15 days of Ariya's marriage. Riya was sitting in her cabin working on her laptop when she got a call from the nurse hired for Rakesh. She picked up the call.

Nurse : Hello Riya ma'am aapke papa behosh ho gaye hai main unhe hospital leke jaa rahi hu.

Riya : (tensed) Haan tum jaldi pahoco main abhi nikalti hu.

Riya went to Arjun's cabin. He was busy with some clients. She came inside without knocking.

Riya : Arjun….

Arjun : Kya hua Riya tum ghabrai hui kyu lag rahi hu.

Riya : (crying) Arjun wo...wo Papa beh... behosh ho gaye hai.

Arjun : Kya par kaise?

Riya : Mujhe nahi pa..pata nurse ka ca..call yaha tha. Wo un..unhe hos... hospital leke gayi hai.

Arjun :(turn towards the client) excuse us it's a medical emergency.

Client nodded and Ariya left for the hospital. In half an hour they were in hospital. Riya runs towards the reception.

Riya : Rakesh Mukherjee kaha hai?

Recep. : Ma'am vo abhi emergency ward main hai.

She runs towards the emergency ward while Arjun follows her.

When she reached there she saw the nurse with the doctor.

Riya : Doctor mere papa kaise hai ?

Dr. : Sorry to say but unke paas jyada time nahi hai.

Riya : (holding his collar) Kya matlab hai aapka unke paas jyada time nahi. (Joining her hands in front of him) Aap toh doctor ho aap kuch kariye please. Unko bacha lijiye.

Dr. : Dekhiye Riya ji hum log puri koshish kar rahe hai par unki body treatment ko respond nahi kar rahi hai.

Riya : (crying miserably) Please doctor kuch kijiye na. Mere Papa ko bacha lijiye.

Dr. : Main abhi kuch nahi kar sakta jab tak unki body respond nahi karti. Excuse me.

Doctor and nurse went from there. Arjun comes towards her. He keeps a hand on her shoulder.

Arjun : Riya himmat rakho papa ko kuch nahi hoga.

Riya just hugged him and cried her heart out. Doctors tried a lot but they couldn't save Rakesh. Rakesh was no more. When the Doctor told this news to Riya, she went numb; she was feeling like the world had stopped for her.

Arjun was numb too. He comes to mind through the Doctor's voice.

Dr. : Mr. Rawte please inhe sambhaliye.

Saying so he went from there. Arjun goes near Riya.

Arjun : Riya ?..

Riya just hugged him and cried like there is no tomorrow.

Riya : Arjun pa...papa Arjun dekho na wo doc...doctor kya keh rahe hai. Wo b..bol rahe hai ki..ki mere papa wo kaise jaa sakte hai. Arjun kuch karona un..unhe wapas leke aao na. Please Arjun main tumhare samne hath jodti hu.

Arjun : Riya shant ho jao. Papa ab kabhi wapas nahi aa sakte.

Riya : Arjun ke..kaise sha..shant ho jao Arjun kaise?

Arjun didn't say anything, just hugged her tightly. He can do nothing rather than consoling her. After sometime they took the body to her house. They informed everyone about the death of Rakesh. Sameer, Chotu, Ayesha and Priya couldn't come as they were in Hyderabad for some important work. Riya's tears were dried till now. She was in a miserable state, her hair messed up, face with a tear stains.

They took the Rakesh body for the last ritual. Kamlesh, Devang and Arjun and many other men from the society took his body to Shamshan ghat. While the ladies tried to console Riya. After the last Arjun gave the fire to Rakesh's chita. After that they all come back home. Arjun forcefully took Riya home because she was not ready to leave the house.

They reached home and went to freshen up. Riya was a lifeless body; she just quietly went inside the room. Arjun sat on the sofa in the living room.

Arjun : (in mind) Aaj ek hi din mein kitna kuch ho gaya. Aaj Rakesh Papa chale gaye. Maine aaj Riya ko pehli baar itna rote hue dekha hai. Par aaj jab wo ro rahi thi toh mujhe itna dard kyu ho raha tha? Itni taklif kyu ho rahi thi?

He was thinking all this. Suddenly he remembers something told by Nanu about Love.

Arjun : Insan ko kaise pata chalta hai ki usse pyaar ho gaya hai?

Nanu : Dekh beta Arjun insaan ko pyaar tho pehli nazar mein hi ho jata hai. Par usko pehcane mein samay lag jata hai. Par jab vo pehcan lete haina tho usse jayada khush insaan is duniya mein nahi hota.

Arjun : Par usse pehchane ge kese ki humein uss insaan se pyaar ho gaya hai?

Nanu : Jab humein kisi se pyaar hota haina toh hum unki khushi mein unse jayada khush hote hai. Mano jaise ki baag mein phool khil uthe ho. Jab wo insaan dukhi hota hai toh hum bhi dukhi ho jate hai. Aur jab wo insaan rota hai toh dil pe churiya chal jati hai...

Arjun : Mere saath bhi vaisa hi ho raha hai jaisa Nanu ne bataya tha. Iska matlab ki... Matlab mujhe Riya se pyar ho gaya. Main abhi jaake usse batata hu.. nahi abhi nahi abhi usse sabse jayada sahare ki jarurat hai.

He went to the room. When he came to the room he saw that Riya was sitting on the bed and was seeing her and Rakesh's photo in her phone. Arjun goes near her and sits there.

Arjun : Riya kya hua? Tum itni chup chup kyu ho?

Riya : Arjun dekho na iss mein papa kitne khush lag rahe haina.

Arjun : Riya chalo so jao bahut late ho gaya hai.

Riya : (like a mad person) Arjun papa ne khana khaya hoga. Unhone apni dawai toh li hogi ha.

Arjun : Riya ab papa nahi aane wale hai abhi kabhi wapas.

Saying so he hugged her. She hugged him too and cried in his embrace. After sometime they parted ways and Arjun kissed on her forehead. They both look directly into each other's eyes. They both closed their eyes and started to lean towards each other.

And their lips meet. At first both were very slow but as the time passed they deepened the kiss. That night they both were drawn in the pool of love and passion. They become one that night.

Next morning.

As the sunshines enters the room and breaks the beauty of Arjun. When he opened his eyes, he saw the most beautiful sight in front of him. His love of life was in his arms and sleeping like a baby with a cute pout. He slowly freed himself from the tight grip and placed a pillow in place of him and went to freshen up.

When he came out of the washroom he saw that Riya was already up and was searching for him.

Arjun :(smiling) Good morning.

Riya : (blushing) Good morning.

Arjun : Sunno Riya tum fresh ho jao. Main bahar jaa raha hu kuch jaruri kaam hai.

Riya : Thik hai jaldi aana.

He went from the room but he had forgotten his phone in the room only.

When he was going Devang called him in the study which is in the middle of Living room and Ariya's room.

Arjun : Kya hua Devang bhaiya kya hua?

Devang : Arjun mere pass ek bahut acha idea hai.

Arjun : Kaisa idea bhaiya?

Devang : Riya ko ghar se bahar nikalne ka plan. Dekha Arjun ab wo Rakesh Mukherjee nahi raha ab Riya ko hum log aaram se ghar se bahar nikal sakte hai. Aur property bhi apne naam kar sakte hai. Akhir uski ke liye toh tum ne usse shadi ki thi.

Arjun : Haan bhaiya main manta hu maine Riya se shadi property ke liye aur apne Nanu ka badla lene ke liye...

Someone was listening to their conversation.

Hey Riyu, it was a great chapter indeed...loved this one.

So, with the demise of Riya's father, Arjun gave his shoulder to Riya to cry on and and while doing this he realises his love for Riya but without confessing his love to Riya & his family properly, he even consummated his relationship with Riya. And, Riya too gave in in that moment of passion. Ab, dekhna yeh hai ki Devang ki plan kya hai aur Arjun Devang ki plan mein shamil hota hai ya nahi. I doubt that maybe Riya is the one who has overheard their conversation. But, we never know, what's really cooking up in your head.

And Riyu, don't be sorry for not being able send pm to me earlier, because of pm sending limitation purpose. Issbaar jaise Tag kiya chapter ki end mein, waise hi Tag hi kar doge toh bhi kafi hai yeh janne ke liye ki new chapter post ki hai tumne. Will be waiting desperately to read the next chapter.
