Chapter 19

Kamlesh : Kyu kiya tu ne Devang kyu kiya yeh sab ?

Devang : Aapki wajah se.

Kamlesh : Meri wajah se? Matlab kya hai tera?

Devang : Haan aapki wajah se. Aapne shuru se hi Dadaji ka saath diya buisness ho ya kuch aur par unhone kya kiya. Unhone saari property aapne (pointing Arjun) is naati aur isske biwi ke naam kar di aur humein kya mila? Kuch nahi.

Prabha : Teri aisi ghatiya soch hongi main kabhi socha bhi nahi tha.

Mamaji : Inspector sahab le jaiye inhe yaha se.

Police take both of them.

Kamlesh : Arjun beta hum log Devang aur Poonam ke tarph se mafi mangte hai.

Arjun : Are mamaji aap kyu mafi mang rahe ho aap mere papa ki tarah hai.

Prabha : Nahi Arjunhame mafi mangni chahiye hamari wajah se Riya tujhe chod ke chali gai.

Flashback ends.

Arjun : Aur uske agle din Mamaji and mamiji Ratnagiri chale gaye apne pehle wale ghar pe. Maine rokne ki koshish ki par wo nahi ruke. Phir jab tak tu nahi aaya main Pune mein akela rehta tha Apni Riya ke yaado ke sahare.

And guess what this whole conversation is heard by none other than Agrawal's.

So the Mukherjee family listened to the whole conversation. Arjun and Shree stand up and others come inside the room. There was an awkward silence between them. Lisa came inside and saw this, then decided to break the silence.

Lisa : Wo doctor ne bola ki Ayan ko hosh aa gaya hai.

All of them take a breath of relief. Riya and Arjun run towards his room and others follow them. Arya was with Chotu now. As they entered the room they saw Ayan was seeing here and there seeing the surroundings of most probably finding his mother.

The moment he saw her he just cried.

Ayan : Mumma...

Riya comes running near him and hugs him not tightly.

Riya : (crying) Ke..kaisa hai mera bacha?

Ayan : Aa mum..ma ba..hut dukh raha ha...i.

Riya left him and sat beside him, creasing his head slowly. One by one all meet Ayan. Only Shree and Arjun were left. Shree comes forward to meet him.

Ayan : Mumma yeh uncle kon hai?

Riya : Wo... Yeh tumhare Shree chachu hai.

Ayan : Ohh.

Shree : Ab kaise ho Ayan beta kaisa lag raha hai?

Ayan : Bahut dukh raha hai par mumma hai na mere paas sab thik ho jayega.

At last Arjun comes forward and Ayan recognizes him.

Ayan : Friend uncle aap bhi hai yaha.

Riya : Aap jante ho inhe bacha?

Ayan : Haan yeh vahi uncle hai jinhone mujhe kal girne se bachaya tha.

Arjun also remembers yesterday's incident and realises how destiny has played its game. Yesterday he saved him from falling down and today he saved him by giving his blood.

Ayan : Uncle yeh hai meri mumma (pointing Arya) aur wo hai meri behan.

Arya came towards Ayan and said to him,

Arya : Buddhu yeh uncle nahi hai humare papa hai.

Ayan : Kya papa??

He remembers everything that happens today in school. He fought with Rohit because he was teasing them because their father was not living with them and that fight resulted in him being in the hospital. He comes out of his thoughts when he sees Arjun coming towards him.

Ayan : (shouting) Nahi mujhe nahi chachiye papa.

All were shocked because he never behaved like this. Arjun stops in halt after hearing this. Riya was the first one to come out of shock.

Riya : Kyu kya hua beta aap aise kyu baat kar rahe ho? Aapko kyu nahi chahiye papa.

Ayan : Kyunki yeh hamare saath nahi rehte in ki wajah se hamare friends hamare saath nahi khelte aur aaj inhi ki wajah se maine Rohit se ladai ki kyuki wo bol raha tha ki humari mumma buri hai isliye papa hamare sath nahi rehte.

Riya : Bacha aisi baat nahi hai. Meri baat suno...

Ayan : Nahi mujhe nahi chahiye koi papa mujhe bas meri mumma aur behan chahiye.

Arjun was going to say something but the doctor came and told them to go outside as Ayan needs rest. They all went out and Ayesha asked Arya what had happened in school. She told them the actual matter.

Arjun was feeling like he had again lost everything. Riya was feeling guilty as because of her, her children are not getting their father's love and are bearing this much. She starts murmuring to herself.

Riya : Yeh sab meri wajah se ho raha. Aaj mere bache ki yeh halat meri wajah se hoi hai. Main ab kya karu? Haan main Arjun se mafi mag leti hu. Haan wo mujhe jarur maaf kar dega. Par main usse bolungi kya?

She ran from there and fell on her knees and cried. Lisa follows her and keep hand on her shoulder. Riya turns and sees her. She bent down to her height. Riya hugs her tightly.

Riya : Ye..yeh ky...kya h..ho..gaya mu..jse. Amr...ita aaj me..mere ek fai… faisle ne me..mere ba..bache ki zin..dagi kha..khatre mein dal di. Aga...Agar main Arjun ko chod ke nahi jaa..ti toh.. aaj mere bache ki...yeh haa. halt nahi ho..to. Lis… Lisa main sac..sachi bol rahi hu mu..mujhe jab pat..pata chala ki main maa ban...bane wa..wali hu...toh...maine Sam.. Arjun se ba..baat karne ki ko..koshish ki par us..usne...apna... number.. change…kar… diya..tha. main..usse contact nahi kar..pai.

Lisa : Riya di aap shant ho jaiye pehle aur meri baat suniye. Iss mein aapki koi galti nahi hai. Jo hua wo bhagwan ki marzi thi.

Arjun comes there searching for Riya. He saw her and his heart broke into a million pieces. He goes towards them and signals Lisa to go and he will handle her. She nodded and got up. Riya saw Arjun and without saying anything she just hugged him.

Riya : Arj.. Arjun muj..he... maaf kardo ple..ase.

Arjun : Shh Riya tum kyu maafi mang rahi ho maafi toh mujhe mangni chachiye. Itne saalo tak jo tumne akele saha hai.

Riya : Nahi Arjun yeh sab meri galti hai mujhe tumse baat kiye bina nahi chale jana chaiye tha. Par sachi Arjun jab mujhe pata chala ki main pregnant hu toh maine tumhe contact karne ki bahut koshish ki par nahi kar pai.

Arjun :(cupping her face) Toh Riya tum Pune aa jaati.

Riya : Nahi aa sakti thi Arjun doctor ne mana kiya tha bola ki bahut complications hai toh main bilkul travel nahi kar sakti. Aur bhaiya nahi chahte ki tum meri life mein wapas aao.

Arjun : Par jab tumhari delivery hui uske baad toh aa sakti thi tum Riya.

Riya : Haan Arjun maine socha bhi tha ki main aa jau par maan mein ek dar tha ki kahi tum bacho ko mujhse dur na kar do. Main mar jati agar wo mujhse dur chale jaate toh.

Arjun : (kissing her forehead) Acha ab purani baato ko chado. Main ek sawal puchu ga kya tum uska jawab imandari se dogi.

Riya just nodded.

Arjun : Kya tum abhi bhi mujhse pyaar karti ho Naina?

Riya didn't say anything but hugged him. He got his answer but he wanted that in words.

Arjun : Riya please mere sawal ka jawab do.

Riya :(still hugging him) Kya tumhe abhi bhi jawab chahiye?

Arjun : Mujhe mera jawab mil gaya hai. Par mujhe shabdo mein jawab chahiye.

Riya :(look up in his eyes) Haan Arjun main tumse kal bhi pyaar karti thi, aaj bhi Karti hu aur aage bhi karti rahu gi. I love you Arjun Rawte .

Arjun : I love you too Riya Rawte . (Kiss her forehead)
