Chapter-29
Shree tried to escape but shambu was not giving any reply to him. Looking otherside he saw two goons along with pathan were escaping made a plan.... Clutching his leg he shouted, "Ahhhh!"
Shambu stopped the car, turning around he asked, "Shree baba kya huwa apko!"
"Ahhhh.. Shambu mera peir...shayad mudgayi madad karo... please!" Shree said in painful voice.
Shambu looked at him them out noticed they were far from the scene, nodded and got down. As soon as he got down, and opened the door, Shree pushed him onto ground, taking the steering, "Sorry Shambu... Mei bhabhi ki mehnat aise hih nahi jane dekhsaktha, bhai se mei maafi maang lunga!"
Saying Shree zoomed the car following Pathan. Arjun along with others nabbed the goons and came out, where the others members were there, Liza went to Ayesha and Riya hugging them... Upon not seeing Shree with Chotu, "Shree kaha hai?"
This brought Arjun attention but he kept silent as he was sure by now he would be out of danger zone, sighed leaning onto SUV with tight expression.
Sameer coming towards Arjun, "Pathan bhag gaya!"
Arjun closed his eyes, "Sakshi ki mehnat karab hogai... Itni mushkil se apne jaan daav par lagake usko pakadwaya, lekin hum usse shambhal nahi paye... Kaise usko apna muh dikhayenge!"
Sameer nodded, "Sab pakade gaye na,?" To which Arjun nodded closing his eyes.
"Sir, Shree kahi dhikai nahi de rahe hai!" Ayesha asked with worry coming towards them. Arjun was about to reply, when a person entered, making them alert. The team pointed their guns, while Samjun panicked, "Team gun down, Shambhu tum yaha?" Sameer asked with frown.
Shambu looking down, "I am sorry Sir!"
The team looked in confusion seeing the new person, but Arjun question suprised them, "Shree kaha hai?"
Shambhu Looking down, "Sorry Sir! Shree baba.... Mujhe chakma deke ghadi leke chale gai!"
Arjun anger reached topfloor,catching his collar, he slapped him left and right, "Ek kaam diya meine.... Ki Shree ko sahi salamat yahase lejao aur tumse yeh ek kaam bhi nahi huwa..."
Sameer glaring at him, "Kaha gai woh?"
"Woh pathan..." But Arjun not giving chance to explain, again slapped him, "Agar usse ek karoch bhi aya toh mujhse bura koi nahi hoga Shambhu!" He warned him dangerously.
The team looked stunned not even grasping what's going on, they could understand the care, but his anger, worry for Shree shocked them. At the same time a car zoomed towards them, making the team even in that state to gaze at it with admiration.
"Abh yeh kiska ghadi hai!" Chotu mumbled, but Samjun moved forward. The team looked suprised seeing Kabir.
"Tum yaha?"
",Mujhe Shambhu ne attack ke baare mei bataya... Aur Shree kr bewakoof harkat bhi...issliye mujhe ana pada!" Kabir replied angrily...
Kabir moving to Arjun, "Apna gussa baad mei nikhalo.... meine Khanna aur security ko uske peeche beja lekin humhe bhi jana hoga ..!"
At the same time two cars entered...though the style is different.
"woh log bahut dur gaye honge... keval tum unko chase karsakthe hoh....Tu apne ghadi le jaa, tere alawa koi usse control nahi karsaktha, hum, apne ghadi mei athe hain...!" Saying Kabir and Sam took other two cars...while the team gaped with wide mouths, seeing Arjun taking the first car. "Arjun Sir ke ghadi hai? Haila!" Chotu mumbled with shock.
Arjun zoomed from there quickly in lightening speed, along with Kabir, " Ayesha, sab ke saath dusri taraf jao... Pura place gherna hoga humhe! har place cover hona hain... " With that Sameer left.
After their exit, "Yeh sab sach hain?"
"Chalo... Guys... Hum baad mei soch sakthe, lekin Shree ka abhi bhi nahi pata!" Ayesha said as chotu took steering.
"Yeh sab Sakshi ke karan horaha hain,.... Shree ko kya jarurat thi apne jaan daav par lagane!" Said Riya worried for him.
"... Sakshi ne kya ki?" Chotu asked them as he observed their coldness towards Sakshi.
"Uske karan hih toh horaha hain... Shree pathan ke peeche issliye gaye kyunki woh Sakshi ko dissapoint nahi karna chahta!... "
"Riya... Sakshi ko beech mei mat loa... Woh pathan ko apni jaan daav par lagake pakadwai..... Agar mei Shree ke jagah hoti wahi karthi.." Ayesha informed her..
"Mujhe pata nahi... Lekin aisa lagrahi ki kahi unkahe raaz hai humsab ke beeche khaskar Rathod Sir, Arjun Sir, Shree aur Sakshi! Mei bhi janti huh humhe aisa bartav nahi karni thi Sakshi se, par uss sami mujhe kuch nahi suja..lekin Skashi wapas aneke baad mei usse maafi mangungi aur uski manboori ko samajne ke bhi! "Ayesha said, while Liza nodded her head.
when Chotu asked what happened, hearing them he looked with disbelief, "Yeh sochte hoh tum uske baare mei?"
Here, Shree chased the car, Increased the speed bringing before Pathan's, fired the four tyres stopping them. Coming out, "Bahar ajao pathan aaj tum bach nahi sakthe."
Pathan with his two goons came out, "Abey oi... Haath mere raste se warna tere thope ko udaunga."
Shree glared at him, pointing his gun, "Chupchap surrender hoja issmei tera bhalai hai, agar Arjun sir ayenge toh chodenge nahi tumhe!"
"Nahi darta uss ACP Rawte se samje tum!" Saying Pathan fired at Shree but he dodged it taking his car cover and started shooting at them. Suddenly few car surrounded them shocking pathan.....
Before someone can realise another car zoomed inside the circle stopping his act between Shree and Pathan. Shree looked on as Arjun got down, noticing his brother clenched jaw he know no one could stop his death sentence. "Deva! Mei toh gai..." as he saw the security rounded them.
Arjun glaring at him, turned to Pathan and his goons with swift action he brought down the two goons who were helping pathan. Coming out of shock pathan glared at Arjun but cowered in fear as Arjun moved towards him as a hungry lion. Slapping him, Arjun grabbed his collar, "Kaha na pathan agar koi mujhe lalkarega usko jawab dena achese atha hain mujhe!"
"Abh toh tum... Aur tere bhai shikendar ka chita kholke rakunga pure duniya ke samne, kyunki abh mei tujhe jaha bechara huh waha tumhe insaan kya janwar jaise bhi treat nahi karthe!" Arjun warned getting satisfied seeing the fear in his eyes. "Aur ha jabtak mei zinda huh mere team ko kuch nahi hoskatha, khaskar woh joh mereliye apne jaan se bhi pyaara hain...!"
In midst Sam and kabir also arrived along with the team. The team were suprised seeing a tight security, but entered inside the circle along with Sameer. they smiled looking at Arjun who always caught the criminal wining the case. "Khanna... saale ke le ja!" Khanna nodded who dragged pathan from crime scene taking him away.....
Everything was silent, Sam, Kabir glanced at eachother, even the security was looking silently as volcano is about to brust... The team unaware of everything gazed at Shree who was leaning on other side heavily panting..., "Shree!" They called happily putting stop to the silence, stepped forward to move but the next actions shocked the entire team, but it was expected by others who ever present there.
Arjun who was making sure pathan was out of there, turned around fixing his gaze on Shree who was panting, his rigid breaths dishelved state only increased Arjun Anger more, while Shree was looking at him with guilt. Arjun Clenched his fist not having any of his looks, "Shreekanth.... Meine kaha I won't give a damn if you keep yourself in danger!" and unbuckled his belt taking it in his hands, which shocked everyone.
Sameer and Kabir looked horrified, shouted, "Arjun!" But Arjun was not in a mood to listen, showing his hand, he stopped them "Nahi Sam... Na tum, na Kabir... Koi isske taraf dari nahi karega!"
Listening sam and Arjun names the tema looked Suprised. "Joh aaj tak ek dusre ko Rathod, Ratwe bulate woh Sam aur Arjun bangai...haaila!"
Arjun moving forward, "I told you Shree.... Agar dubara tu kuch aisa karega ki jisse tere jaan ko khatra hoh toh mujhse bura koi nahi hoga!"
"Tere nadani, tere nakhre, masti mazak sab jhelta huh mei.... lekin koi tujhe target kare ya tu bina kuch soche apne jaan daav par lagaovege yeh mera bardaash se pare hoga... Yeh tum jante hoh, hai ki nahi?" Arjun yelled at him making Shree to cringe.
"Answer me Shreekanth!" Arjun yelled angrily but Sam, Kabir looked at them sadly. They knew Arjun anger is on cloud justified and also that he would never raise the belt on Shree even if he is angry, while security looked on sadly..
Shree shivered with his loud voice, "Sorry Sir!"
Hearing fear in his voice,Arjun threw the belt, "Hell with the Sorry and Sir, Shree!"
"I warned you not to keep your life on line... Phir kya jarurat thi Pathan ki peeche jane..!" He yelled loudly which brought tears in Shree's eyes. Seeing them Arjun sighed clenching his fist, noticed his shivering frame.
Taking long strides he pulled him into a hug, calming him down, "Shh.. bacha! I am sorry!" he whispered in his ears, caressing his back, while Shree only hugged him tightly murmuring apologies.
The team couldn't listen what they were talking but definately looked suprised seeing how his anger turned into care, also seeing Arjun hugging Shree which came as a shock..
"Yeh sab kya horaha... Aaj ek pe ek suprise milrahe humhe!" Chotu mumbled in shock
"Mujhe laga Shree, pucca mar khayega jab Arjun sir apne belt nikhale......"
"par woh shree par itna hakh kaise jamarahe...kya rishta hain undono ka?" Riya frowned.
"Aur ek pal mei gusse ko chod ke shree ko gale lag gai woh!" Ayesha frowned her gaze going towards Sam and kabir, narrowed her eyes in suspicion seeing them smile.
Arjun unaware of his surroundings cupped Shree's face, "Tum theek hona?"
Shree nodded, "Ha... Sorry bhaiya!"
"Sorry se kuch nahi hoga, Shreekanth... Tere iss harkhat ka saza tujhe mei ghar par dunga yaha sabke samne nahi!," Arjun said as they are in midst of his team, security.
Shree sulked knowing he going to be toasted, but Arjun ignored him.
Ayesha and others moved to Sameer, "Sir!"
Sameer removing his gaze from the brothers looked at him, "Tum sab theek hoh?"
They all nodded still glancing at other two. Watching their faces which have numerous questions knew that the time has come to reveal the truth, "ETF paunchne ke baad apne sawalon ka javab milega." not knowing the next moment the truth would reveal automatically.
Arjun holding Shree hand not intended to leave him, turned looking at team, who were few distance from them. They all saw how he was catching Shree's hand but ignoring them "Rathod, chale hum?"
Sameer nodded, but suddenly the car in which pathan tried to escape blasted up into air, "Team take cover!" Sam yelled pulling Kabir with him, while Arjun pushed Shree far away, taking cover as the car fell down blasting into pieces.
Coming out they looked shocked as it was not over yet .... At the same time people from no where in black uniform came startling the team, who were on alert, pointing their guns.
But, they got another suprise as they surrounded Arjun, Sameer and Kabir as if they are protecting them! Sameer realising the uniform, "Koi kuch nahi karega, team, Guns down!" Sameer said with relaxed smile. The team, frowned but did as they said.
Ayesha noticed SIB on their uniforms, who were looking dangerously serious.
The security also kept their guns seeing their uniforms, while Arjun realising who were they, "Tum sab yaha?"
One person turning around saluted Arjun which again shocked the team. "Sir! Aapsab ko safely ghar paunchane ka order mila humhe."
Arjun nodded, "Mujhe iski jarurat nahi, hum apna protection khud karsakthe.... kehdena unhe agar woh nahi asaktha humse milne yeh security ka bhi koi jarurat nahi, aur yeh bhi ki joh unhone kiya uskeliye mei abhi tak unse naraz huh!"
The man chuckled as only he had the dare and guts to challenge other person., "Sir... Agar aap nahi maneghe woh humhe naukari se nikhal denge!"
Arjun sighed but his relief turned into panic, "Shree, kaha hai?"
Even the security got alert not noticing the yonger one...... Otherside even Sameer and Kabir got worried.
Suddenly a gun shot was heard, Everyone looked at direction and got horrified seeing Shree in one of the goon's clutch, who was still alive.
Arjun blood boiled, tried to step forward but security was stopping him. "Chodo mujhe..." Arjun wriggled in their grip but the security were strong, though it was getting impossible for them to catch him....
Same with Sameer, Kabir who were held back, with force.
They all halted when Shree yelled in pain, "Ahhhh!" as the goon pressed the knife on his neck....
Seeing it "I said leave me...." Arjun yelled at them with authority in loud and majestic voice, which send chills through everyone.
The security head nodded, "Sorry Sir! It against our orders.... We promise we won't let anything to happen to shree sir."
But Arjun turned deaf ears to them, staring at Shree... With tears. He knew one wrong move, it would take his brother away from him.
The goon seeing Arjun helplessness, "ACP Arjun Rawte, mujhe nahi pata yeh tumhare kya lagte lekin itna jangai ki yeh bahut khaas hain... Iske karan humhara plan kharab huwa, iskekaran pathan bhai phirse tumhare haath mei agaya issliye isko mei Zinda nahi chodungha!" Gave a evils smirk, pressed the knife of Shree's neck where a blood drop came out...which horrified all.
"Chote!" Arjun whispered falling on his knees with tears..... "Agar tumhe kisiki jaan lena hain toh meri lo lekin usko chod dho..." he pleaded. Shree seeing his brother state got tears, stared at his brother silently communicating with him. No one said a word... looking at them in shock, suprise watching their tough cop going on his knees for a team member....
Here Arjun didnot remove his stare from shree, As they were all trained in it, on Arjun nod Shree caught the man's hand elbowing him hardly in swift motion kicked his leg making him kneel down. Snatching the gun and knife he threw it aside and punched the person squarely on his face..., "mei kuch bhi bardash karunga lekin koi bhi unhe majboor kare woh kadapi bardash nahi karunga, samje!"
"Shambhu... Lejaa isse... Isko mei aisa saza dunga ki jindagi bar pachtayegi kyu mei Arjun Rawte ko majboor karne socha..." He hissed dangerously pushing the man towards Shambhu.
While security lossend the grip Arjun freed his hand glaring at them, "Tumlogon ko baad mei dekta huh!" and started going towards his brother with a proud smile. Even the team had relief, but they say when something is to happen it happens.
Shree who was walking forward to his brother didnot notice the person escaped from Shambhu hold, who got his hand on gun pointed at him, but it was observed by Arjun whose smile turned into horror as the person triggered the gun, where the bullet was zooming through the air towards his brother.
"Shree...." Arjun shouted pointing his gun, grabbing everyone attention, ..... running to him, he pushed his brother to otherside, trigeering his gun, Everything felt slow as they saw bullet which was about to hit Shree, pierced Arjun's chest.....
Shree who was confused at first, watched his brother's lifeless eyes, yelled.... "Bhaiyaa!" running towards him, as the person before dying shot another bullet, "aaj tu marega ACP Rate!" The person smirked closing his eyes... As the other bullet hit Arjun...making him step back.
Sameer, Kabir yelled.. "Arjun!" freeing from security.
Shree forgetting everything, ran to support his brother who was falling down, at the same time other two hands supported Arjun making him lie, while security surrounded them.
Shree seeing the blood, "Bhaiya...yeh kyu kiya apne!" He cried shaking him.
"Kyu kiya aapne aisa, woh bullet mere hisse mei tha!" Shree cried touching his face...
Arjun who is still concious, though he was hurt, his heart pained seeing his brother crying for him, kept hand on his cheek... "Chote... ro mat... Mujhe kuch nahi hoga!" He tried to console him even in taht state weekly, but Shree was only crying not at all listening to him.
He saw Sameer and Kabir looking at him with tears, took their hands, keeping shree hand into them, "wada karo..." Taking deep breath... "Chote aur jaan ko sambhaloge!"
"Nahi Arjun... Tere bhai aur jaan ko tumhe hih shambhalna hoga, humse nahi hoga.... Unke liye tujhe ladna hoga.."
"Arjun iss parivaar keliye tujhe ladna hoga.." Both said not ready to promise him what he want.
But Arjun shook his head, "Nahi...sam.. pehle..." taking a deep breath...
"Wada karo inko sambholge, aur parivaar ko bhi!" Arjun asked weekly...
Both looked at eachother, keeping their hands on top of his, "hum wada karthe Arjun..."
Knowing his friends would keep their promise Arjun glanced at his brother who is crying, "Chote!" With that he took deep breath closing his eyes drifting into unconsciousness.
"Bhai!" "Arjun!" "Sir!" All yelled simultaneously, as Ambulance was brought.
Shree shook him, "Bhaiya.. uthiye... please... uth jayiye bhaiya!" he started calling him madly.
Kabir getting into his doctor mode checked Arjun pulse which was week, "Sameer... Arjun ki snaas chal rahi... humhe usse hospital le janna hoga...jaldi" Shifted him on to stretcher.
They all saw how Shree was not leaving Arjun's hand, felt pain as for him Arjun is not less than a father.
"Chote...Arjun ki hath chodo..." But shree was not listening, so Sameer with force broke his hold, "Chodo Shree... Arjun ko jaldi hospital lejana hain!"
As his hold was loosening, Shree felt his life slipping from his fingers... "Bhaiya!" Kabir looking at Sam, "mei Arjun ke saath hospital paunchunga.. jald se jald, wada kartha huh usse kuch nahi hoga.... Tum baki sabko inform karo.." and glancing at Shree, "uska khayal rakhna!" With that he climbed into Ambulance.
As the vehicle doors were closed, Shree cried out, "Bhaiya!" Falling on his knees.... The entire team felt pain seeing them, they were shocked knowing Arjun and Shree were brothers...but what they don't know is for Shree Arjun is everything.
Sameer even worried for his other brother who is in life and death situation, kneeled before him... "chote... meri taraf dekho!" Making him too look at him, "Apne bhai par vishwaas haina!"
Shree nodded with blank face, "Toh vishwaas karo mera.... Duniya mei aisa koi thakat hih nahi ki joh Arjun Suryakant Ratwe ko maut tak paunchai... Kuch nahi hoga Arjun ko... Tum shambhalo apne aap ko!" Sameer consoled him though he was breaking inside.
Shree hugging him tightly, "Bhai.... Mei kaise jee paunga unke bina, mujhe woh wapas chahiye!"
"Aur Arjun wapas jarur ayenge, tereliye, usske liye, humsab keliye!" Sameer said with determined voice, wiping his tears, "Rona bandh karo.... Tere ankhon mei assu Arjun ko acha nahi lagta hain!"
He pulled him up supporting him as Shambhu brought the car, Sameer holding himself strong, made Shree to sit in the car... Then turning his gaze towards others, he gave car keys to Chotu..." Tum log dusre ghadi mei ana!" and sat inside with shree.
The team followed them, silently. They still couldn't digest the news which occured before them, not knowing they would get another shock at hospital.
Seeing Shree in that state, who is looking blank didnot know how to console him... "Arjun tujhe wapas ana hih hoga!" He prayed for his other brother.
He knew now it was him who should stand strong for their family, called Suryakanth... "Badepapa!"
Otherside Suryakant who was having unknown restlessness, lifted the call but hearing what Sameer said he sat lifelessly.... Arpita and Gayu looking at him with worry... asked"Surya... Kaun tha phone mei aur aap aisa kyu beith gaye!"
Gayi taking the phone from ground saw it was Sameer, "Hello...Sameer beta, kya huwa?"
Sameer colsing his eyes, "mom... Apko hih badi maa aur bade papa ko shambhal na hoga, Arjun ko bullets lagai...aapsab turanth city hospital paunchjjayiye!"
Arpita looking at her, "Gayu kaun tha phone mei.."
"Arjun hospital mei hain!" Gayatri replied shocking Arpita, "mujhe kuch nahi pata keval itna ki Arjun ko bullets laggai aur unhe city hospital lejarahe hain... Humhe jana hoga, "
The elders composed them selves as their children need them.....and reached the hospital within minutes. what they don't know is some media person was following them. Suryakanth seeing Arjun who was brought inside on the stretcher, covered with blood.. went to him, "Arjun beta... " Kabir saw them, knowing what was going through them, "aap chinta mat kijiye papa mei apke Arjun ko kuch nahi hone dunga!" ... And took him into OT.
Suryakant hired best doctors to help Kabir, and warned, "Chahe kuch bhi hojai... Mujhe mera beta wapas sahi salamat chahiye... Jitna paisa chahiye woh lo... Joh chahiye mei dene keliye tyaar huh lekin mere bete Arjun ko kuch nahi hona hain... Kyunki usse kuch huwa toh dekhlene Suryakant Rawte kya kartha hain!"
Manish keeping hand on him, "Surya shanth hojao... Arjun ko kuch nahi hoga... Yeh best doctors hain aur Kabir haina ander.. mei bhi jaa raha huh... Hosla rakh kuch nahi hoga usse!" With that the doctor's went inside. This was all heard by a media person, as the security was arranged in the corridor he escaped.
Sameer, Shree along with team reached the hospital.
Sameer dragged a lifeless shree, while team followed them. They saw tight security in the hospital..mainly near operation theatre. Sameer, shree entered into corridor but the team was stopped by the guards, "Sorry! Iske aage aap log nahi jaa sakthe!"
"Par... Hum Rathod sir ke saath hain!" Riya said as she want to know about Arjun.
"I know mam... But aage family ke alawa kisko entry nahi!" The guard informed them. But Sameer turned around, "unhe ane dho."
Here the family seeing them both, mainly shree conditon silently cried in their hearts. Suryakant coming to them pulled his two son's into fatherly embrace, "Tum dono theeek hona?"
Sameer nodded while Shree just hugged him tightly, "Dad... Aap batayiye na Bhaiya ko... Woh apke baat kabhi nahi talthe!" Shree calling him dad was another shocker.
"Iskamatlab... Shree aur Arjun sir, Mr Suryakant Rawte ke bete hai!" Chotu exclaimed with shock.
Suryakanth looking down at his younger son, who is crying in his embrace... "Shree... Beta kuch nahi hoga Arjun ko... Tum Arjun ki bahudur bhai hona... Toh rona bandh karo!" And made him sit on the chair.
The mother's were immediately beside him, while Sameer stood leaning onto wall, tears streaming down his face. Suryakanth who observed him, placed a hand comforting him, "Shambhalo beta..."
"Kaise bade papa, joh ander hain keval uski saanshe khatre mei nahi hain, uske saath aur dho snaashe bhi khatre mei hain... Agar Arjun ko kuch hogai toh Shree aur choti dono ko kho denge hum!" Sameer whispered in lost tone.
"Waha dekhiye kya halath horaha hain Shree ka... Aur Choti ,pata nahi jab usse pata chalega ki humne uski Arjun ki hifazat nahi ki... Kya beethegi usspar, jab tak woh yaha nahi athi, tabtak woh ghut ght ke har pal maregi!"
Surya clenched his shoulders, "Rajveer se abhi baat huyi... Woh jaldse jald yaha ane ki khoshish karenge... Aur meine yeh bhi kaha ki Arjun ke baremei kuch na batai usko!"
"Lekin usko iss baat ka ehsaas hochuka hoga ki uski Arjun khatre mei hai!" Sameer said confidently.
"Aur, aaj toh presentation hai na?" Sameer asked realising the date..
He nodded, "abh sabse important Arjun hai!"
Otherside of the globe, Sakshi who had restless from the night... her restlessness increased, the minute Arjun got hit with bullet, sakhsi whispered his name, "Arjun!" feeling pain in heart, dropped the files which she was reading as she couldn't sleep. She sensed something bad happened to Arjun, clutched her mangalsutr tightly, "Bappa... Yeh keval mera wahem hoh aur mera Arjun bikul theek hoh!"
But her heart was not settling, grabbing phone she tried to call him but it was again not reachable, not his or any family members.
Rajveer who got the news came inside and got shocked seeing her state, he immediately helped her to drink water, calming her anxiety, "Sakshi kya huwa?" He asked gently caressing her curls.
"Pata nahi chote papa, par aisa lagraha ki kuch galat huwa Arjun ke saath... Aur unka phone bhi nahi lagraha!" Sakshi said trying to take deep breaths.
Rajveer looked at her in suprise, smiled sadly as both hearts are connected to eachother .. knowing he should tell her, "Hum India wapas jaa rahe Sakshi!"
Sakshi shot her head up looking at him, "Lekin presentation!"
"Abh usse koi matlab nahi... Humhe jaldi India wapas jana hoga!"
By now Sakshi felt something did had happened, "Chote papa Batayiye kya huwa?"
