Shree POV

I know everyone is shocked about the way impersonal and cold Ri sounded, but perhaps no one knows the way I know her

Flashback -----Boarding school in Shimla----Shree and Ri both aged about 10

I was very short and timid for a boy and did not want to go to a boarding school. The senior kids used to pick on me quite a bit whereas they seemed to give this other new girl a wide berth. When I asked around I found that she broke a senior's nose when she was being bullied. I decided to be friends with this girl. But she said she did not want to be friends with me. But for some reason I decided I wanted to be her friend and was persistent and after 6 months she began to speak in one words or in her words began to tolerate me. One day I saw her cry when her mother said she never wanted such an ugly child. Her father was around but did not say anything. Finally, I recognized that her mother was a big TV star known for her good looks and her older sister a big model. When they left I saw Ri cry

I knew I had to come out of my hiding place and then I just went and hugged her I remember repeating what my grandfather had told me long back. Ri grandpa says there is no such thing as a ugly child, bad parents with ugly hearts maybe. And she hugged me and cried. My parents had no time for me my father had his business and mama had her parties they were negligent but never cruel like this. That day two misfits found one another

Flashback ends

Ri and I began our journey of friendship. Till date she has never let me down I may have given her a few heartaches.

Next day when i and Ri walked in Rathore announced that there was a case. A criminal had kidnapped a politician's daughter. We decided to rush to the victim's house in Bandra.

Saakshi POV

When Riya read out the details of the case I realized the victim was my best friend Arunima Roy. Shree said that Arunima's phone was showing Arey colony location. I noticed that both Sameer and Arjun were looking at Riya. I did not like that, Arjun was only mine and I would go to any extent for it. After all it was to woo him i joined ETF. I asked Arunimas fathers to use his influence to get me a job in ETF.

Sameer assigned me and Arjun to meet Roy uncle since it would be easy since I knew him

Sameer POV

Riya and I went to follow this Arey colony lead and found Aurimas cell phone. Riya discovered that she has left visible red lipstick marks on trees. So, we realized that the girl had left us a trial. When we found the location, I asked for backup. Suddenly a dog discovered us. After a huge fight and back up force reaching on time we were able to rescue Arunima. But one goon was about to shoot me Riya intervened and was shot

Shree POV

When I came with backup team Rathore told me Riya was shot. I was devasted I knew I cant loose her. I decided to give her a piece of my mind Riya remember you are signed up to take a bullet but that does not mean you have to take it on your chest heros suck. I will take an average if not supreme than others my friend over a hero Ri'

Arjun POV

I saw shree hugging Riya. I did not agree with his dialogue but I had realized over time everyone has different motivations. I did not have the heart to say anything to Shree. When we reached the spot with the backup team we heard Riya was shot shree had turned grey and looked faint.We have never seen Shree emotional till now. I have seen and heard about his work since his joining 3 years back. He is fun and all that but never so emotional. What is this relationship ?? I guess they love each other yet I can't see passion. I am unable to read atleast something about this girl from her actions shes a total engima

Sameer POV

This Riya is a puzzle when I thanked her she said it was her duty. The only person she allowed to touch apart from the doctor was shree. I noticed Ayesha went to her after she was brought to the private room but she declined help. Shree walked in and then I could see relief in her eyes

Ayesha POV

I felt bad when she denied my help. She seemed to be in so much pain. After all she saved someone I was beginning to like more than a boss

Saakshi for some reason seemed to be annoyed with Riya.

I heard shree sing "nanhi pari sone chali hawa dheere aana to Ri and I saw her drift to sleep holding his hand. In some way I was a bit jealous of a bond so pure and filled with so much trust
