Chapter 1 Hostage situation

Dedication to Neha who is writing the Ariya FF second Chance since I am inspired by her style of writing

Mumbai a few hours ago about 7.00 AM

Riya POV

Today I have a feeling my life will change a meeting I have been informed old boss AS about my probable posting to ETF Mumbai and he wants to discuss the same. When I hear from the receptionist that ETF chief is in a meeting with AS I suspect that this might be my new team. Well I am happy since my flatmate and only friend in this world Shree works there.

When I am buzzed in both AS and The ETF chief Sameer seemed very upset and then I was appraised of the hostage situation.

Immediately I and Sameer moved to the ETF building. The moment he showed me to a desk I immediately started the blueprints of the building from the municipal records and I discover a possible entrance from the sewage tunnel

ETF Mumbai conference room

Sameer POV

I asked the team to gather and appraise them of the situation

Just then Riya walks in and the team is startled and angry for the interruption except Shree. Shree yells out her name

I explain that she is our research and intelligence liaison

Riya says that introductions can happen later

In minutes she explains the layout of the bank branch, the approach roads possible number of hostages, the entry exit points into the building

She also explains the fact that there is a possible entrance from the sewage but that could be possible for someone is a great swimmer and lean

Arjun POV

I was very angry when the new recruit walked in. But she seems good and professional

I told Sameer the best way was as Riya suggested to let Ayesha get in first and throw tear gas bomb shells in and then we get in and catch the robbers

Sameer POV

My ETF team at ABC Bandra Ayesha, Arjun and commandos manage to finish the mission with Riya guiding Ayesha step by step when going through the sewage tunnels

ETF conference room late evening once reports are filed

Sameer POV

When I introduced Riya to everyone she seemed so impersonal and cold though professional with everyone except shree

Saakshi the team gossip decided to ask shree if Riya was his girl. Liza seemed upset at that question. Riya got mad and said she did not like personal questions about her. She said anything that did not involve her professional competency was out of bounds.

Felt like I am seeing a female Arjun

Ayesha POV

I loved the professionalism in which she helped me specially in navigating the tunnel. I wanted to be friends with her but when we all had a coffee after filing the reports, Riya seemed to not want to even talk anything apart from post mortem of what happened

Wahi dard, wahi khamoshi

Itna sannata hai

Ki kaan phatey jaate hain unknown shaayar

I have a feeling this girl will bring lots of changes in our life.
