hey my dear dear dear dearies m overwhelmed to get such responses.. Really very glad u found it nice.. Many asked me question regarding cs.. I'll just clear one thing that roshni is not part of my story.. I know roshni is a integral part of arjun but we have read many ss, ff or os where roshni has been included in one way or the other but i just want to come out of totally arjun series.. I know my stories r based on etf but in most of my stories u rarely find traces of roshni or arni's memories.. I m purely an ariya fan so my main focus is only ariya.. So if any arni fans r disappointed please forgive for it.. Here u go:

Chapter-1

All were sitting in conference room silently as their khadoos boss was sitting on their head with a poker face engrossed in the file in his one hand n twirling a pen on other finding a clue to solve a case.. Finally what seemed like eternity he finally looked up.. He had coal black eyes, which could see through u n a deep frown adorning his forehead with blank look.. We can see he had attitude n a no non-sensense look.. He got up n walked upto fact board n was looking with sheer concerntration.. On the other hand a man was simply looking the man with sad smile.. He misses that old person who know how to smile n bring smile on others face n who was known prankster n who was full of life.. In place of whom now he only see a shadow of that person.. The boy full of life was replaced by angry young man n he was helpless.. He can't do anything.. He hoped against hope that he gets to see that same old person.. The person turned n said loudly, 'kuch toh choot raha hai rathore..' that brought later one from trance n asked, 'kya kehna chahte ho raute.. It seems as a open n shut case.. Ladki ne atma hatya ki hai.. Saare saboot yahi kehte hai.. Ab tum apni theory jhadna band karo aur sidhe sidhe batao why u feel so??' to which other exchanged looks.. Ya the serious person was acp arjun suryakant raute second in command n the worried one was acp sameer damansingh rathore etf chief.. Arjun ignored his taunt n said, 'uske ghar walo ne kaha kuch din se woh bohot khush thi.. She wanted to share a good news with them toh why would she commit suicide?? She was a fighter according to them n had gone through tough life before than what can break her?? Akhir kaun suicide karega if she has a happiness filled life?? Ab samjhe ya samjhau..' n rathore asked chotu to do background check n shree to bring calls details of the girl.. After investigation, they got to know she was topper n friendly.. She had no affair.. Around mid day, they solved the case.. Culprit was a boy from her class who proposed her once n got rejected who once was a topper n when she came his ranking was taken by her.. For revenge he killed her.. Arjun n others threw disgusted look to the boy n handed over to local police n went back to office.. Sameer ordered all to finish the paperwork n sakshi was bringing coffee for all n cutting chai for arjun when a peon came n said to arjun, 'sir aap k liye ek letter aya hai..' arjun asked, 'kiska??' to which he answered, 'post se.. Address nahi sirf p. O. Box number se aya hai..' n gave to arjun n went away.. Arjun with trembling hands took the letter in his hands.. Hoping it's what he hoped it to be.. He had been waiting for one letter addressed to him since last 5 years.. He was excited like a kid n nervous too.. He inhaled the fragnance it emitted n had a small smile on his face recognizing the fragnance.. It confirmed his hopes r true.. All were looking him like an alien.. The khadus who never showed emotions was smiling n behaving like a nervous wreck..

But arjun didn't paid heed to all n went to his cabin for privacy.. Others were wondering who was the sender n why arjun seemed so much happy.. Sakshi was fuming to know someone can bring a smile on sadu's face without any afford n she pulled everything on her power to bring a tiny miny smile but failed n someone who was not even physically there could hold such power to bring a smile on sadu's face.. Arjun was like a hero to her whom she ideolize, adored n somewhere come to like him n for whom she promptly accepted the offer to join etf.. But now seeing someone else in his life hurt her.. Sameer was happy to see a glimpse of old arjun whom he missed.. His best buddy n whom he treated like his brother.. He knew each n every phase of arjun's life n vice versa.. From last five years he had seen every changes, lifes up n down of arjun n been with him.. He knows arjun since childhood.. He knew that someone was in arjun's life who is his life.. Her letters were arjun's life.. One day a letter that stopped coming, since that day he saw a broken arjun.. Her letters were like a drug to his life.. But after a long time she sent a letter that brought life in arjun n he can see that arjun will once again start living his life.. He hoped n prayed for his best friend gets his love this time.. He knows about sakshi's liking towards arjun but he knows better arjun will not see her in that manner.. He didn't feel like disclosing anything about arjun's behavior to anyone so went to his cabin.. Here aisha, shree n chotu were consoling sakshi maybe it's from arjun's relative.. Somehow they consoled sakshi.. Sakshi went n gave everyone their drinks n went to do paperwork..

Lets see what's arjun doing?? Arjun was simply smiling looking at the envelope.. His happiness was in the letter.. He was afraid if it was just his imagination or hallucinating that finally a letter has come after his 5 years wait.. He with trembling hands opened the letter.. It read:

Hi,
Hum jaante hai aap is khat k liye bohot tarpe hai aur vishwas kijiye humein bhi aap ko yeh khat likhne ki bohot besabri se intezar tha.. Humei ek doosre ko likkhe hue paach saal ho gaya.. Humei pata hai aap humse bohot khafa hai ki humne aapse kasam li jab tak hum aapko agla khat na likkhe tab tak aap hume koi khat nahi likkhenge.. Hum jaante hai jab aapko humari jaroorat thi tab hum aapke saath nahi the magar hum aapko kamiyab hote dekhna chahte the aur aap humare liye apne sapne ki suli chadhane pe tule the isliye humei aapko apna wasta dena pada.. Humei ye kehte hue fakar ho raha hai ki humari yeh kurbani asafal nahi hua.. Humei yeh vi gyat hai ki aap humari baat ko samajh rahe hai.. Aapka sapna tha police officer banneka.. Jis k liye aap apne papa tak se lad gaye aur aap usei yuhi jhaya karne chale the humare liye jo humei bardasht nahi tha.. Hum jaante hai yeh judai k lamhe aap pe bohot vari tha.. Aap yakeen maniye humne vi apne seenei pe pathar rakhke woh faisla liya.. Hum aapke liye kuch vi kar guzar sakte hai fir yeh toh sirf kuch saalo ki judai hai.. Aap se door rehna kisi jahannum mei kati hui zindagi se kum nahi the.. Hum aapse avi vi utni hi siddat se aapse beinteha mohobbat karte hai..

Aaj humei bohot khusi ho rahi hai yeh jaankar ki humare arjun aaj police department ka sher kehlata hai.. Humei garv hai yeh kehte hue ki aap humari ibadat, mohabbat hai.. Aapne humara sar garv se ucha kar diya.. Humei naaz hai apni pasand par, apni mohobbat per.. Hum aapse milenge.. Humei vi besabri se intezar ka jab hum aapse beparda honge.. Hum yahi hai aap ke aas paas.. Hum mumbai bohot jald aa rahe hai.. Aap ka intezar jaya nahi jaega.. Humei pata hai yeh kuch din katna hum dono k liye kitna muskil hai.. Hum aap se rubaru hone k liye behad besabri se intezar kar rahe hai.. Humei pata hai aap kitna besabar ho rahe honge humari ek jhalak ko aur yakeen maniye hum vi utne hi utaule ho rahe hai jitna ki aap.. Aapne apna P. O. Box band kar diya tha to humne aapko bheje hue khat wapas aa gaye.. Hum aapko 1 saal baad dhund nikala.. Aapke charche hai etf k case solve karne mei aapka kitna bada haat hai.. Hum jab vi aapko tv pe ya akhbaar k headline pe dekhte hai toh humara sara dard khatam ho jata hai.. Aapka khat ka humei besabri se intezar rahega.. Humei khat likhne k liye aap isi P. O. Box. pe vej sakte hai.. Aap ki khusiyo aur salamati k liye hum humesha bagwan ji se yuhi duwa karte rahenge.. Aapki har iccha puri ho..

He was grinning like a fool reading it.. He was angry on her but he can't stay angry of her too for a long time.. The last addressing of her to herself made his smile wider.. He felt himself lucky to get her love.. She was indeed a light of hope, love n life of his.. He was estactic to get a letter from her after what seemes eternity.. He was happy all day.. He didn't scold anyone for their mistake instead calmly pointed out their mistake n smiled at them.. All were shocked to see him so.. But sameer was happy to see him like that.. At the end of day arjun asked shree to bring a form for a P. O. Box number from post office.. All had their mouth hanging listening to it.. Arjun went away after that having that letter in his hand securedly clutched in his hand n a happy smile on his face..

NEXT CHAPTER:


Arjun went to his n sam's apartment humming his favorite tune.. Ya samjun shared a apartment since arjun left his father's house.. They had been through thicks n thin together.. They shared every secrets.. He went to his room n freshened up.. He came n made a cup of cutting chai n went to the balcony where there was a swing n sat there smiling to himself.. He remembers his past..
Flashback:

As usual arjun was coming with sam n his others friends doing masti, teasing pulling legs.. He was known for pranks.. But he n his group never ragged any freshers.. They were known as naughtiest as well as sincere students.. Though their group was called to office for one or another reason they were praised as well.. So they were heading towards canteen towards their hang out spot when they came accross riyaz n his groups who had stopped some girls group n were misbehaving.. So they went upto there n saved girls n warned riyaz group to stay away from them n asked girls to go to their respective classes.. Unknown to arjun a girl was simply admiring his group n mainly him.. Arjun n his groups went away doing their usual masti.. Their group was given the responsibility of freshers party so all were discussing what should be done.. They decided arjun would perform on behalf of seniors.. They were chatting n laughing on lecturers n their class fellows which was secretly observed by a girl who was smiling to herself n came out of trance when nudged by her friends n went with them.. Freshers party's preparation was going full on.. Theme were decided white for girls n black for boys n masqurade n no restriction in dress choice.. Arjun's rehersal were going fully.. They would hang out n discuss about the works done n the girl admired him secretly.. Unknown to it, he was fully engrossed in freshers party.. Party was going full on n everything was perfectly done.. Arjun sang beautifully.. Here it is:

All appreciated it gave big round of applause.. He was getting compliments n was observed by a girl in white knee length gown n silver colored mask n called a waiter n wrote something n signalled him to give it to arjun n went away to disappear in darkness whereas the waiter reached arjun n gave it to him n went to serve others.. Arjun took it n was about to read when sam called him n he kept the letter in his pants pocket n thought to read it later n went to sam to wrap up party.. They got busy wrapping up the party n arjun forgot about the letter.. All wrapped up their work.. Later all celebrated for the success of the party n went back home.. As usual arjun came to house to find none waiting for him other than servants.. He dismissed them n went to change n get to bed than a letter dropped from his pocket then he remembered he got in party but forgot to ask who sent it due to his group.. He opened the letter n it emmited the scent of mix of lavender n roses.. He ignored it n read it:
hi,
Hum jaante hai aap soch rahe honge kaunsa ullu ka pattha aaj k jamane mein khat likhta hai.. Magar hum mein itni himmat ya kahe aap k samne ane ki aur kehne takat nahi thi toh hum is khat ka sahara le rahe hai.. Aap humei nahi jaante aur shayad janna vi nahi chahte.. Hum aapse jaan pehchan vi nahi karna chahte.. Hum aapko sukriya ada karna chahte hai.. Us din aapne humei aur humare dosto ko ragging se bachaya tha.. Hum aapse amne samne kehna chahte par keh nahi paye.. Kehte toh vi shayad aap humei pehchante nahi.. Hum apni aur apne dosto ki taraf se aapko bohot bohot sukriya.. Aur aaj aapka gana bahut achha laga.. Aap apne dosto se bohut pyar karte hai.. Aur apki unse dosti aise hi rahe yeh humari bagwan se inteja hai aur rahegi.. Ek bar phir aapka bohot bohot sukriya..

Ek ajnabi..

Arjun was shocked to get a letter from someone unknown to him to just thank him n unaddressed.. He smiled unknowingly that someone acknowledged him.. He slept smiling to himself which was rare.. He used to see the letter whenever he felt depressed.. One such day arjun was very much depressed about his father pressurizing him to join business n he wanted to persue his dream to be a cop.. All were seeing his mood swings.. It was also observed by her.. She felt sad seeing him depressed so when arjun was going to locker room he happened to collide with someone who was in hurry n dropped his book.. The person to bend down n helped him to pick up the book.. He failed to see the person as well as the person slipping a letter in his book due to his depressed state.. The person helped him collect books n said sorry n left.. He was about to say something but he could only see a running back of a girl out of sight n shook his head went home.. He straightly went to his room denying to have lunch n threw his book on bed n was about to go to change when he saw a letter peeping from his books as he remembered that none was before there then how.. He remembered colliding with a girl n thought maybe she kept it.. Shook his head thinking maybe a love letter n was about to throw away when he sniffed familiar scent n knew whose n where it belong n opened it.. It read:

hi once again,

Humne socha nahi tha hum aapko dobara koi khat likhenge par dekhiye humari kismat humei firse likhne par majboor kar raha hai.. Aap ko pata hai aap pe yeh gussa wala ya yeh utra hua muh accha nahi lagta.. Hum jante hai hum koi nahi hai apko sallah dene wale magar kya kare apka utra hua chehra dekh nahi sake.. Aapka hasta hua aur khusi se chamakta hua chehra humare jehen mein ghar kar gaya isliye aapka har roj haste hue chehre pe yeh gam k badal achhe nahi lage.. Aur rahi baat humari hum bus aapko khus dekhna chahte hai.. Kyu?? Kaise?? Hume vi pata nahi.. Aap yeh mat sochiye hum aap se koi rishta jod rahe hai.. Hum bus aapke liye ajnabi the, hai aur shayad agei vi rahenge.. Hum bas itna kehna chahenge, zindagi mein jitni vi muskil kyu na ho agar hum haske uska samna kare toh zindagi asan ho jayegi.. Agar yu mayus rahenge toh koi hal nahi niklega apki muskilo ka, aur mayusi cha jayegi.. Aur uska aap se judei hue logo per vi asar padega jo shayad aap nahi chahte honge.. Hai na??

Again she made him smile.. She made him feel better.. None understood him like she did other than sam.. He was amazed to read so much concern for him by a stranger.. He was overwhelmed to get someone for whom he was so special.. At first letter, he thought she was just thanking him n showing grattitude which most does n didn't care much but the second one showed someone can care for u even though u r stranger for each other.. He wanted to write back but he didn't know to whom to write.. He was in delima.. He slept thinking about it.. Next day all saw a relaxed n happy arjun but somewhere lost.. He was thinking ways to find his ajnabi which was seen by her.. She smiled.. His day ended thinking of many ways but he didn't have any idea what was stored for him next day.. He as usual was with his friends when a peon came n gave him a letter.. He enquired who gave it.. Peon said it's by post n sender name was not mentioned only his name n college address was given n by some p.o. Box number.. All teased him saying someone has got a secret admirer.. He glared at them n kept it in his pocket n went to lockers room.. He went n sat on the bench n opened the letter.. It read:

hi,

Hum bohot khush hai aapne humari baat mani.. Hum jaante hai ki aapko lagta hoga kaisi ladki hai kisi vi ajnabi ladke ko khat pe khat likhti jaa rahi hai aur samne aneka naam nahi le rahi.. Toh hum apko bata de, aapka andaja sahi hai, hum thode pagal hai sab kehte hai so hum apko dosh nahi denge agar aapki rai vi vaisi ho to.. Hum jaante hai hum kuch jyada hi aapko tang kar rahe honge apni baato se.. Itna samajh lijiye ki hum aapse dosti karna chahte hai.. Hum thode sharmile hai isliye rubaru baat karna humei sharam ati hai isilye hum aapko khat likhte hai nahi toh sochiye aise zamane mein vala koi khat likhta hai vala.. Hai na?? Khair chodiye.. Kal humne dekha aap hume hi dhund rahe the in hazaro ki vid mein aur shayad humei humare khat ka jawab ya shayad humei daant lagane k liye dhoond rahe honge toh humne socha aapka kam asan kyu na karde isliye aap jo marji humei keh sakte khat k jariye isi p.o.box pe vejiye humei intezar rahega aur ha hum aapse apna naam ya pata kuch nahi kahenge.. Aap hume kuch vi bula sakte hai apki marzi..

He smiled reading it.. How easily she sensed his restlessness.. How easily she solved his problem.. He really wanted cherish such person in his life.. He wanted to keep her friendship for life long or even after death if possible.. He reread it again n again when he felt someone snatch it n saw sam standing in front of him with the letter in hand he was about to read it when arjun tried to take it n sam run away with it trying to read it but arjun would come closer n he will fail again n run.. They came in bb court in this game n arjun finally caught him n took the letter from him.. Arjun grinned in victory.. Sam eyed him in suspicion.. Arjun told him how he got letters n how she understood him so well n how she solved his problem n now she gave him a way to reply her back.. Sam was happy for arjun.. He was shocked to see such a selfless person exist in cunning society.. He had seen arjun genuinely happy after so long so chose to be happy for him.. Arjun later wrote a letter n posted it.. It read:

Hi,

Ab mein tumhe kya bulau samajh mein nahi aa raha.. Waise manna padega tumhari hindi kafi achhi hai.. Kaha se sikhi?? Hmm aur rahi tumhare pagalpan ki tum pagal nahi par bohot achhi ho aur jo dil mein aya keh deti ho dil mein dabakar nahi rakti jo bohot kam log kar patei hai.. Aur rahi dosti ki baat woh toh tum ban gayi thi tumhare dusre khat k baad.. Akhir dost hi toh dost k kam ata hai right.. Aur ha hum ajnabi nahi hai ab.. We're friends so ab thank u na hi sorry ki jaroorat hai.. Dosti hath tumne badhaya aur main yeh zindagi var nivaunga.. Aur ha tumhe toh mera naam pata hoga.. Tumne mere naam pe jo veja hai aur rahi tumhe naam dene ki toh i feel u r jhalli jo apne dosto k liye kuch vi kar sakti hai.. Toh main tumhe jhalli bulaunga..

The session of letter started.. They shared many things about each other.. One of them was arjun's dream of being a cop n his father's objection.. She would boost up his confidence n ask him to achieve his dreams.. To make his father understand that it's just not a hobby of him but also his passion n life.. He appeared g for training n got selected.. After his finals he had to join for training session.. N it was after a year.. He tried his level best to convince his father which resulted in a clash between them but she encouraged him to not give up.. The letters were like a important part of his life.. He waits for it impatiently.. Sam said that he has fallen for his jhalli to which he denied.. But his misconception was cleared soon.. A letter changed their relation.. He was shocked beyond words.. One day he was eagerly waiting for his jhalli's letter.. He got a letter n what it contained once he read, the land from his feet was removed..
