Seeing the crystal clear sky Arjun went back to the memory lane. He still can remember the day he met Sakshi. He became ACP and joined ETF with his best buddy Sameer. They were dealing with a case of human racketing when Sakshi joined ETF as a crime investigave journalist. At first he used to get irritate with her. They always argued during cases. Soon he developed some feelings towards the crazy but sweet girl. He fell in love with her. He was thinking about proposing her when fate played a cruel game with him. His mother came to office for some reason when she met Sakshi and took an immediate likens towards her. She choose her for his elder twin Parth Suryakant Rawte. Sakshi also agreed to the marriage. He shattered. Sameer knew about his feelings and told him to go and talk with Sakshi. But he didn't agree. He only wanted to see her happy. The marriage took place in the fixed date. After marriage Parth took her to Goa at that very night. He was very surprised but his parents thought that he wanted to spend some alone time with his wife. One week later Arjun got a call from Parth and from the hospital of Goa. Parth told him that he got an urgent call for a mission and leaving immediately. Arjun told his parents about Parth but didn't tell about the hospital call. He rushed to the hospital. Doctor took him in front of a cabin and told him to identify the patient. Arjun became shocked to the core. Gone that beautiful girl. In front of him was lying a dried flower. Even the wounds of her body couldn't hide the bruises she had. She became so pale. Arjun couldn't believe how a person could change so much in one week. And what were those bruises? Doctor told him that she had been tortured day after day. Though she was still virgin but her body and mind held any bruises. His hands clenched into fists. Doctor went away to attend another patient and he went inside and sat beside Sakshi. After one hour Sakshi got conscious but seeing him she started crying and shivering.

Sakshi: Parth please mujhe chod dijye please mujhe aur mat marye. Maine apka kya bigada tha? Please mujhe aur mat marye.

Arjun became shocked to know that Parth was behind all this. But he calmed himself. He spoke with her in a gentle tone.

Arjun: Sakshi daro maat. Main Parth nehi hoom. Main Arjun hoom.

Sakshi: Tum sach mein Arjun ho?

Arjun nodded. She came to him like a child and hugged him tightly. Then she started crying. Arjun patted her back and consoled her gently. After what Sakshi told him he found out that Parth started torturing her just after they reached Goa. He beat her with cane. He kept her in a dark room without giving her any food. When he got the call about the mission he warned her not to tell anyone about the incidents or he will kill her. Arjun didn't understand how his brother could stoop so low. Doctor gave her discharge after 10 days. That 10 day Arjun stayed with her. He told his parents that he was out for a mission. Sameer covered for her. After discharge her bruises was not visible the nightmare she gone through started haunting her in dreams. After one month news came that Parth died during the mission. Authority hand over the dead body to them. Sakshi cried a lot. Everybody thought she was crying in agony but the truth was she cried in relief. She will not have to live in fear anymore. Arjun sighed. If only he proposed her in time then maybe she wouldn't have to gone through that nightmare.

Morning came with a new promise. A new hope. Today is Mr. and Mrs. Rawte's marriage anniversary. Sakshi was arranging the table when Arjun came down. Sakshi already wished them. Arjun also passed his wish. He looked at Sakshi once. She was wearing a yellow kurti with work of royal blue thread in it. Sakshi used to wear white at first. But Mr. and Mrs. Rawte stopped her. They consider her as their daughter. So, they couldn't see her in widow's dress. But dress didn't matter. She was still a widow. So, they started thinking about marrying her off with Arjun. They were little afraid if they would agree or not. Mr. Rawte cleared his throat.

Mr. Rawte: Sakshi beta ek bat kehna tha.

Sakshi: Kahye na baba.

Mr. Rawte: Woh tujhe to pata hi hai ki aaj party mein bohot sare guests anewale hai. To meri ek dur ki rishte ki bua hai. Woh bhi anewali hai apni poti ko lekar. Beta woh thodi purane andaj ki hai. Aaj ke lye tum koi white color ka suit pehen lena.

Sakshi: Okay baba. No problem.

Arjun groaned under his breath. He knew this dadi bua very well. Her only aim was to marry off her granddaughter in this house. She tried with Parth first. But then Parth married and died. Now she is after Arjun. She couldn't seem to understand the word no. Moreover she had a grudge over Sakshi.

Whole day passed like a gust of wind. All of them were busy with party arrangements. Arjun and Sakshi called Pandit ji. They wanted to marry their mom and dad again in order to make the day special.

It was evening time. All the guests came. So came that dadi bua. Sakshi was wearing a pure white anarkali with work of white thread over it. She was looking like an angel. Pandit ji was ready. Mr. and Mrs. Rawte was also ready to go to the mandap when a sharp voice rang through the air.

Voice: Yeh manhuj yaha kya kar rahi hai?

This was no other than dadi bua.

DB: Surya aur Madhu ki phirse shadi hone ja raha hai. Iss khubsurat waqt pe yeh manhuj yaha kiyu hai? Iss gharmein ate hi ussne Parth ko kha lya. Aab baki sabke peche padi hai.

Sakshi was trying very hard to stop her tears but in vein.

Mr. Rawte: Bua ji yeh aap kya keh rahi hai? Sakshi meri bahu nehi meri beti hai.

DB: Par hai to ek vidhwa hi na. Woh iss shuv karya ka hissa nehi ban sakti.

Arjun have had enough. Now he snapped. He spoke up in a deadly voice.

Arjun: Apko iss batse problem hai na ki woh ek widow hai?

DB: Ha.

Arjun nodded.

Arjun: Okay then. Wait here.

He went to stairs and went upstairs. Dadi bua became very happy. She thought that Arjun was going to throw Sakshi out of the house. But all became a bit puzzled when he came back with a red dupatta in hand. He went to Sakshi and draped the dupatta over her head.

Sakshi became very shocked. She couldn't utter a single word.

Arjun: Sakshi mujhpe bharosa hai na?

Sakshi: Apne aap se bhi jyaa.

That was all he needed to hear. He took her by hand went in the mandap. Everybody were so shocked that they didn't even try to stop what was happening.

He told Pandit ji to start the rituals. Pandit ji was a nice and kind person. He knew Rawte family for years. He became very happy for Sakshi and started chanting. Sakshi took the pheras as if in a trance. At the end Arjun put sindoor in her parting and put mangalsutra around her neck.

Dadi bua fainted at the spot. Her dreams crushed. Mr. and Mrs. Rawte were really very happy. All other guests were also very happy. As they were congratulating the newly married couple slowly it dawned to Sakshi what just happened.

Sakshi was sitting in the bed in a bridal dress. Mrs. Rawte made her wear this. She also made her bridal jewelry. She made both Arjun and Sakshi ready in marriage attire. Sakshi was waiting for Arjun. She wanted to ask him few question. She was not angry but sad. She ruined Arjun's life. She was thinking various things when Arjun entered. He locked the door. She got down from the bed and went to him. His back was still at her.

Sakshi: Arjun tumne yeh shadi kiyu kya?

He slowly turned to her. A cruel smile was playing at his lips. A shiver ran down through her spine.

Arjun: I am not Arjun sweetheart. I am Parth Suryakant Rawte.
