Chapter 4

Sameer lied down only to restlessly turn sides on the bed.Arjun's words kept ringing in his ear.He pulled two pillows and pressed it hard on his ears.Arjun's voice stopped and he closed his eyes just to feel roshni speaking in his ears.

'kya sam?ek larki se darte ho?tch tch tch tch,'roshni spoke to him,

'roshni tum..'it almost brought tears and he stopped to take a close look at her face,
haan mein..tum dono mujhe shanti kab doge?ek wo hai har pal yaad kar karke pareshan karke rakha hai,aur tum maha confused insaan..kya yaar apne dil ki baat bolne mein itna sharmata hai humare chief sahab?'she laughed,

'roshni mein darta nehi hu samjhi..agar usse bura laga to wo kahi kuch...'sameer stammered,

'duffer,aisha tumse pyar to karti hai,bas keheti nehi hai,per tum kehe sakte hona,jao aur kaho,'roshni nudged him,

'abhi?raat ke 3 baje?pagal ho kya?arjun nehi sota baki sab is waqt sote hai,'he replied,

That made her sad and brought tears.Sameer noticed it and spoke to her,

'kiyu chali gayi?ek bar bhi humare bare mein nehi socha,'he asked her blinking his eyes,

'meri footi kismat,per ab aisha ko jane maat dena,shayad wo mere Arjun ko firse jina sikha de?'she almost pleaded him,

'jaise tumne mujhe sikhaya tha?'sameer replied with a sad smile,

Roshni smiled back and nodded happily.

Sameer smiled inbetween his tears and opened his eyes to find her no where.She was gone and the harsh reality stroke back.He stood up from the bed and walked to the window.He had to decide his course of life now.

Aisha woke up with the sound of her phone ringing.It was sameer.She picked it up instantly sitting on the bed.

'morning sir,'she greeted,

'aisha jaldi ready ho jao,you need to go to meet narendra,he would be going for an inauguration program at an orphanage.Mein niche tumhara intezar kar raha hu,'he informed,

'right sir,ill be right there,'she said and jumped down from the bed.

Both went to their work mode and it didnt took much time for aisha to impress their victim. He was quite seduced by the beauty and wanted her to company him in the evening party at
his home. Aisha accepted the invitation and informed sameer about the same.

Both got back to the hotel with differnt things running in their mind.Aisha was happy with the progress while rathore was quite skeptical about the whole thing.He tried to reason his doubts with aisha and ended up with her furious remark.

'Sir,ap meri itni chinta kyu karte hai?I am an ETF officer and i know my work.Ap is tarah mujhe humiliate nehi kar sakte,i will go and get the evidences as planned,'aisha barked at him and turned to leave just to be pulled back by rathore,

'I am humiliating you aisha?tumhe andaza bhi hai mein kya kehene ki koshish kar raha hu?narendra aadmi acha nehi hai,meine usse dekha hai waha.Mujhe to shaq hai kahi usse shaq ho gaya hai tumpe.Aur uski aakhein uske intentions bata rahe hai,its not good.Tum waha nehi jaogi,hum kuch aur soch lenge,lets go back.'he shouted leaving her hand,

'No,no sir,i wont go back until i get the evidences,chahe uske liye meri jaan kiyu na chali jai,i am ready to die but i wont surrender,'

'die?tumhe pata hai tum kya kehe rahi ho?'he again shouted back,

'haan pata hai,aur apko kya?mein maar gayi to?acha hai apko...'she stopped when she felt a sharp pain burn her cheek,and rathore fisted his hand down.

'apko koi haq nehi hai ki ap mujhpe haat uthaye sir,'aisha gritted her teeth,

'haq hai aisha,mein tumhara chief hu aur..'sameer stopped and looked at her intently,he had decided finally,

'i love you aisha,per shayad wo haq tum nehi dogi,fine.Per ek chief ke haq se tum nehi jaogi,final,hum sham ko wapas jayenge,'he replied sternly and went out.

Aisha remained rooted at the spot.It would be a lie to say she never felt anything for him.She respected him from the moment they met during her undercover operation.He always kept his eyes straight looking at her eyes.They never roamed about anywhere else.He had his principles and kept to them.Later when they stopped meeting she had missed him.

Later when she joined ETF and started working under him,she realised his worth to the team and her.She never liked to report to him for her work but then respected his dedication to his duties.Now his confession started changing everything.She was confused but the thought made her blush.His thought brought the slap back and she rubbed her cheek.She smiled and looked at the door.

'ab to mein zaroor jaungi,'she said with a smile.

It was late evening and Rathore was knocking on Aisha's door for sometime now.They had to leave for mumbai soon.He called her on her phone but she didnt recieve.He felt it suspicious and called shree to check her location.Shree gave back the location and it showed narendra's residence.

Sameer was furious to know about this and barged out towards the house,angrily cursing her for her over reactions.

Here aisha had escaped unnoticed from her room towards narendra's home about an hour back.The party had started and she was enjoying the attention narendra showered on her. She was introduced to the whole crowd as his special guest,his personal special friend.

Aisha was very well aware of the consequences of his extra care and concern but she knew her work well.She had paved the path for the ultimate destination and she knew where she was heading.She had her gadgets ready and were taking the snaps as and when required.She was moving around gracefully,talking with a few of his friends and partners in the party when narendra brought a glass of red wine for her.

He toasted it to their meet and aisha sipped the wine.She had taken a few sips when she felt drowsy.Her eye lids were no longer working in her control and was drooping.She controlled herself and kept straight in front of him.Though he didnt miss the intoxicated state of hers but her controlled presence couldnt make him move close to her.

She excused herself softly and walked out to the road hurriedly.She tried to stop a few cabs but none did.Finally she started walking ahead aimlessly.Her spiked drink was taking its affect on her and sat down at the side of the road crossing her legs.

She tried calling someone and finally remembered Rathore.She dialed his number and waited for him to pick up the call.Sameer was on the road in his car when she called.He quickly picked it up and barked on her,

'aisha kaha ho tum?mana kiya tha maine tum sunti kyu nehi?ab batao kaha ho?'he shouted parking his car,

'sameer...'she started and stopped,

The informal tone surprised sameer.Though it felt good ,he was angry and had to pose that.

'Aisha,you are drunk?'he asked frustrated again starting the car,

'haan wo naru ne pilaya na...'she replied half asleep,

'naru???ye kaun hai?aur tum kaha ho abhi?'he asked looking around searching for her,

'arre wo naru matlab na...re...n...'she stopped again,

'narendra,kaha ho tum aisha?'he asked again holding his hair to calm himself down,

'raste mein,street light ke niche,upar asmaan hai,samne gari chal rahi hai,aur...'she looked around for some land mark,'haan ek kutta bhi hai,aww puppy,kitna cute hai,'she kept her phone away and started caressing the puppy,

'puppy?street light?aisha?aisha?dammit..'a frustrated sameer banged on the steering..

He kept driving towards the building looking around for traces of her.Finally he found her.
Sitting at the side of the road in a red gown and curly hair,she sat with the puppy on her lap teaching it something very serious.

A smile formed on his lips and his anger vanished instantly.He stepped out of the car.He walked to her and stood in front of her.

'Aisha,'he called her,
she stopped her blabbering and looked up to him with a big smile,

'sameer,dekho mein na isse traffic rules sikha rahi hu,'she said posing a proud look,

'kya?thik hai ab chalo,wapas jana hai,'

'nehi mujhe wapas nehi jana,mujhe akele acha nehi lagta,tum bhi chalo mere saath,'she said looking at the puppy and covering it with her scarf,

'wo nehi ayega tum chalo,'sameer said picking up the puppy from her and keeping it away,

'arre bhaga kyu diya?test bhi to lena tha..wo abhi tak sare traffic rules nehi sikha na,agar accident ho gaya to?meri tarah akeli ho jayegi na?'she shouted looking towards the running puppy,with a sad face,

'accident?'sameer asked kneeling down beside her,

'haan mom dad,ek accident mein mujhe chor ke..'she started crying leaning herself on sameer,making him almost fall on the ground,

She started speaking between sobs about her lost family 10 years back.Finally she slept on sameer's arms and he picked her up to the car.He reached her room and laid her down on the bed slowly.He caressed her hair for sometime and looked at her calm face.A smile curved his lips.He didnt know whether she loved him but he knew he was important for her.He went away to spent another sleepless night,but tonight it was just the happy times spent with her.

Next morning both sat down in front of the laptop discussing the case with the ETF team in online conference.Everything discussed and done,arjun called aisha and muttered a loud 'well done,' which made sameer glare at him,which arjun as usual ignored.

Eveything done both sat down sitting with two cups of coffee.Aisha was silent.She was feeling embarrased about the last night event.Sameer was looking outside lost in the events of last night.Finally after a long time aisha broke the silence,

'Kal raat help karne ke liye thanks sir,'she spoke up a bit hesitance in her tone,

Sameer glared at her and looked away.She lowered her face.

'waise tumne kam acha kiya,'he said still looking outside,

'thank you sameer..'she replied with a smile,

Sameer turned to her astonished at her informal greeting.But her smile soothed his senses and he looked at her confused.

'I am sorry,itna haq shayad nehi hai,ya fir hai?'she asked with a blush,

'aisha,tum,dekho kal jo bhi kaha wo,i am sorry wo..'sameer started but was cut by aisha,

She held his palms and looked into his eyes,with a blushing cheek,

'Apne jo bhi kaha,mujhe bohot acha laga,i dont know,mein iss layak hu ya nehi,per mujhe itna pata hai,ki shayad mein ye haq apko bohot pehele de chuki hu,bas..'she lowered her face.
Sameer was too shocked to even react.Aisha was scared at his silence and took her hand away,but sameer held it back.

'mein kitna acha husband hu,mujhe nehi pata,per fir bhi,shadi karogi aisha?'he asked finally,

Aisha was surprised at his sudden proposal but then leaned forward and hugged him.He kept his chin on her head while she muttered a silent 'i love you,'to him which he acknowledged with a smile.

The case was over in another few days and sameer and aisha came back to mumbai.

At ETF everyone was surprised at the sudden change of behaviour of there chief with his lady officer and also the normally calm face of aisha.But arjun knew the secret.He had found aisha avoiding him and blushing at his questioning gaze.He didnt probe them in front of everyone,firstly coz he didnt share such a relation with rathore any more and secondly he didnt want to spoil their comfort.

One such night when sameer was waiting to drop aisha home,arjun called her to his cabin for some work.It was night and everyone else had left so aisha had to attend to her boss and sameer had to wait for her to complete.

It was almost an hour she was working still when rathore barged into arjun's cabin with a hard angry glare and started questioning.

'kuch important kam hai rathore,tum chale jao mein usse drop kar dunga,'arjun remarked
with an invisible smirk,

'tumhe achanak itna kya important kam aagaya rawte?kal subah kar lena,aisha chalo raat ho gayi hai,'rathore spoke up earning a glare from aisha this time.

Arjun rolled his eyes at the two and looked on amused.

'aisha rehene do,tum jao mein kar lunga,'he spoke up looking towards rathore,
aisha didnt speak a word and walked out.She was blushing and a word more would spill the beans.Rathore glared at arjun and turned to leave but stopped at the door.

'Kal hum shadi kar rahe hai,registrar office pohuch jana,'he said and gave a brief look towards a dumbstruck arjun and walked out with a winning smile.

Finally the couple got married and after some teasing sessions from the entire ETF team except arjun,who was just smirking with a calm face,the couple returned back home.

Arjun became their driver and dropped them at their right destination.Aisha welcomed him inside but he rejected.Sameer angrily walked away at his refusal while Aisha and arjun kept looking at him.Aisha wanted to convince him but before that Arjun walked to her and held her palm.

She was surprised at his gesture but understood it within next second.He kept a pair of bangles on her palm.She looked at him surprised and shook her head to reject but he folded her palm and left her.She looked on while he continued,

'apke pati ne ye roshni ko diya tha..aur'he started but stopped when rathore shouted in between,

'aur hum isse wapas nehi lenge,gift lautana chahte ho rawte?'he glared at him,

'wo mujhe nehi pata aisha,ye roshni ka gift hai tumhare liye,baki jisko jo kehena hai,roshni se kehe dena,'He said and walked to the car.He drove away quickly leaving a smiling and shocked
duo at the door.

It wasnt too late,just darkness had set in and sameer and aisha entered their home.No rituals were done.None was there to do them,they entered with a small prayer to the almighty.

Both were hesitating with each other and kept wondering how to proceed.Aisha looked around the house.It wasnt perfect neither was it neat and clean but it had a homely atmosphere and she loved it.Sameer had cleaned the house the day before to make her comfortable but then failed miserably when aisha looked around with sarcastic eyes.

He picked up her bag and went to keep it in their bedroom.Aisha too followed him without another word.She entered the room to find sameer folding the shirts that lay on the bed and the chair.She smiled at his pouted embarrased face and walked ahead to help him.

It was the most embarrasing moment for sameer when aisha pinched her nose at the smell on the shirt and threw it away.He pouted at that and she threw a shirt at him.He made a weird expression at the disgusting smell on it and took the whole bundle of shirts and kept aside.Aisha removed the bedsheets and took a set of new to spread on the bed.

She had just opened the bedsheet from the folds when sameer held onto the other end to help her spread it.She looked at his eyes and found love and happiness.

Both of them opened the bedsheet and spread it on the bed.Aisha pulled the sheet towards her to straighten it but sameer pulled it back and it made aisha lose her balance on the bed.She looked at him angrily and tried to get up but he held her hand and took the edge of the sheet from her.

Sameer threw the sheet away and sat beside her,while she got up to sit on the bed.He was fiddling with her fingers and caressing her knuckles.He took her palm to his lips and kissed her knuckles making her smile with red cheeks.He touched her cheek and rubbed his thumb on it,all the while looking at her.Aisha closed her eyes feeling the touch of his fingers on her face.She trembled when he placed a soft kiss on her chin.

'Aisha...aankhen kholo,'he called her softly,caressing her lusty lips,

Her lips trembled and she opened her eyes to look into his deep,calm and loving eyes which had a naughty glint making his face bright.She lowered her eyes feeling her face flush.

Aisha leaned towards him and he wrapped his arms around her.She kept her head on his broad shoulder and he started placing soft kisses on her forehead,eyes and nose.He was getting aroused more with every minute of her closeness.His hands slowly caressed her slender waist and moved up towards the neck.He held her hair in a fist and pulled her making her lean back,a moan leaving her mouth.

He hungry placed his lips on her and started kissing and sucking them passionately making her groan in pain.He slowed down licking her lips with his tongue to sooth the pain.He started giving wet kisses down her neck to her chest making her lie down on the bed.She enjoyed the pampering and the kisses he showered all over her face,neck and shoulder while his hands found themself inside her dress.

He caressed her stomach pulling her dress,gradually moving up to her chest.Gradually he undressed her along with himself and after a long kissing session he entered her earning a moan inside his mouth and a bite on his lips.He pushed himself inside her feeling the warmth of her body and passion.

After hours of vigorous love making aisha closed her eyes,keeping her head on his chest,while he rubbed her arms with his wrapped arms.He looked at her tired face and placed a kiss on her forehead.She smiled at that and he voiced out,in the smooth darkness.

'aisha,'he called her,

'hmm,'she hummed over his chest,

'thank you,'he said looked at her with a smile,

'sameer..'she couldnt finish he had closed her lips with his to start another passionate love making.
