Chapter 3
"Cornhead!" The door of the infirmary exploded (not literally), and another handsome hunk barged in.
I had to be in heaven..or in a parallel universe where gorgeous men walked half naked all the time.
Not that I'm complaining by the way.
I sat down, neatly covering my "bare" thighs with the blanket, and quietly checking the new stranger out. Someone who completely ignored my presence. OUCH!
I watched him walking towards where Arjun slept like a baby. And before I could even say a word let alone a greeting, the new stranger kicked Arjun awake.
"What the f..!!" Arjun sat straight in a beat, rubbing his eyes to look at the foe who stood grinning.
"Bas*ard! What was that for?" Arjun yelled.
"You blew up a whole town? A whole town! Are you crazy?" the stranger bellowed. Arjun scrutinized his eyes, thinking for a minute. "Did I really?" he sheepishly asked.
"You made it to the newspaper too! Congrats!" The other guy sarcastically said, throwing a newspaper to Arjun. Arjun slowly smiled and said, "I look beautiful!"
"Oh yeah.. wait till she reads it." The other guy grinned, before breaking out in an evil laugh. "Now that I think about it.. she is gonna whip your sorry butt!"
And I stared at them in confusion. Arjun's smile faded and he looked like he had seen some ghost. Slowly, he sank into the ground; sweating profusely. "What am I gonna do, man? She's gonna kill me!" Arjun murmured. Wait.. was he scared of a "she"?
Who was this "she" they were talking about? I wondered."You are doomed, cornhead."
I heard the other guy say. Unable to stay quiet any longer while those two obviously forgot about my existence, I cleared my throat and asked, "Who is she?"
"Jallad." Both replied, with eyes widened in horror.
The other guy then caught upto something and turned towards me. "Wait.. who are YOU?"
Ouch.. again. "Ummm.. I'm Rheani."
He raised an eyebrow and then spitted out to Arjun. "You brought a girl, and that to in the hospital wing?"
"She was unconscious." Said a girly voice, scaring all of us. Well, at least me.Seriously, these people had a tendency to sneak up on you and make a dramatic entry.
She looked tiny. Not as a shorty, but she was petite. Dressed in a simple summer dress with a pigtail, she looked fragile and innocent.And, she was very pretty.
"Thank you, khushi!" Arjun bowed at the girl who smiled before mischievously asking, "But that doesn't answer why YOU were sleeping here."
"Umm.." Arjun stammered, making me blush. Hmm, so he was here to check on me huh! Who knows? He probably gazed at me whole night while I was sleeping.
"Pathetic." That other guy snarled, dragging me out of my daydream. This guy had some serious problem with me. I tell you!
Khushi rolled her eyes at the guy, who looked at her but then looked away. Hmm.. interesting, I mused.
"Anyway, you two, get the hell outta my sanctuary." Khushi casually told the guys, pointing at them. "I have a lotta of work to do. So off you go now."
"Are you throwing me out?" The other guy asked. "Yes. You have a problem with that laad governor? And by the way, put some clothes on." Khushi replied, challengingly.
Before he could reply, she continued, "It's Wednesday."
"So wha.." Arjun started but then stopped. "Oh shit! It's Wednesday!"
And within a minute, both of them were out the door.
Khushi giggled, shaking her head. When she found me looking like a confused soul, she giggled more.
"Sorry.. hi, I'm Khushi. You are Rheani, right?" She asked. I nodded.
By the way, she talks too much. Here I thought I talk too much.
"Haan, Arjun ne bataya tha. You were unconscious, and Arjun carried you here." She said, checking my vitals. "It was sooo cute!" she purred and, duh.. I blushed.
And before I could ask anything, her verbal train kept rolling. "You know, he never brought a girl before. I think he liiikes you." She rolled her tongue at the word "like", winking at me.
"You think so?" I asked. Damn, I really should stop blushing."Yeah.." Khushi merrily replied. "So you like him huh?"
"I think so." I answered.
"YAAAY! A wedding!"
Wait..whaaat?
"Umm.. khushi. We just met!" I tried to tell her.. but she kept her rambling going. "Toh kya hua? Aaj miley.. kal gul khiley.. phir shaadi aur baccha!"
Oh staph.. I was going all burning red here. So I decided to distract her."Vaise who was that other guy?"
Khushi sighed, handing me a spare pair of clothes to change. "Laad governor." She replied, making a face.
I laughed, changing my clothes in the shade. "asli naam hi yeh hai kya?""Arnav Singh Raizada." She said, rolling her eyes. "Khadoos!"
"He's hot though." I commented, coming out of the shade. And as I had guessed, khushi went all jealousy on me. "Why? Do you have a thing for him?"
I lifted my hands in surrender, "Nope.. not at all! I am already smitten by you know what."
Khushi let out a breath, dropping my used clothes in a basket which I guessed was for laundry.
"By the way, where am I?" I finally asked, feeling like a stupid. Like who in their right mind would ask this question after an hour?
"Where you wanted to be." Khushi smiled. Taking my hand, she dragged me out the infirmary. We crossed a hall, took 3 stairs down, and by the time, we reached a big Hogwarts looking door, I was outta breath! How big was this place, anyway?
Khush opened the door wide, ushering me in. "Welcome to ETF."

Meera wasn't surprised to find herself in a trap.. again. But, she pretended to not notice it when her carriage took a different turn than the usual. She rested peacefully until the carriage stopped, and the door was swung opened.
She always waited for this to happen. Always hoped that one day.. he would turn up too.
But she didn't think that it would be true. That he would actually turn up.And she would get to kill him.
