About Me :

I'm one of the laziest writers of this forum. Samjhe ya samjhau? 😆

Synopsis

Set in a parallel universe, this story is mainly told by a character named Rheani (pronounced as Ree-ha-ni 😆). An ordinary girl who crosses path with a reckless guy named Arjun. (Typical😉)

The story proceeds as they explore various sides of love and friendship.

About this story:

Inspired by a story that I read.

And no.. this isn't an Arakshi/Arni/Ariya story. As Arjun is over, it's better to start with new characters, no?

Prologue

"Alone and crying, she kept her heart shielded in armor, because she thought that was the only way to keep it from breaking again."
Stumped, I fought to open my eyes; even though every muscle in my body screamed at me to stop fighting, and give up. But I needed to see him once.
And there he was.. a fallen star, standing again with all his glory. Drenched in blood.. his own blood. I could only see his back as he stood in front of me, protecting me with all his last strength. His back was marked with old and new scars.. some gushes were still bleeding.
It pained me not being able to stand and soothe his pain.
I wanted to scream at him.. knock some senses into him. He was fighting a lost battle. Everything was over.. we lost. But I knew he wouldn't heed to me. He never did.
He was reckless. And so was she. "But it didn't stop the pain." I heard him say again.
He seemed lost in thoughts. But it didn't affect his predator stance.. he was circling his opponent with a look that always got him through.. and at that moment I knew, he was never going to give up on his friends. Even if it cost him his life, he would gladly do so if it saved his friends and family.
"Arjun.." I murmured. "She needs to be with us.. surrounded by people who love her. So she never has to cry again."
I smiled.. unable to keep those happy tears from falling. I closed my eyes..resting my head on the hard ground.. content and lighthearted. How could I underestimate them? I knew they would get through it.. their feelings for each other will make them stronger. It always did.
They were strong when fighting for themselves. But they were invincible when fighting for the people they loved.
Who would know it better than me, eh?
