CHAPTER 17:
Arjun's mind went blust. Rafi warned him about it but never in life he thought that Sakshi will be that target.
Sakshi hold herself well. Arjun took breath in order to reign his anger.
Arjun: Tumne Sam ko batya.
Sakshi: Nehi. Sam pehle se hi bohot pareshan hai. Uparse agr bata dya to aur pareshan ho jyega. Isslye tumhe batya.
Arjun took Sakshi's hand in his own and gave it a reassuring squeeze.
Arjun: Don't worry Sakshi. Main tumhe kuch nehe hone dunga. I will protect you.
Sakshi: I know Arjun.
Arjun: Ek kaam karo. Aaj raat tum yehi ruko. Subah mein tumhe tumhare ghar drop kardunga.
Sakshi thought for a while then nodded.
Sakshi: Nehi Arjun. I think I should go. Kal subah mujhe office bhi jana hai.
Arjun: Koi baat nehi. Main tumhe time pe ghar chod dunga.
While Sakshi was still hesitating Arjun pleaded.
Arjun: Please Sakshi. Bohot raat ho chuka hai. Aaj ki raat yehi ruuk jao.
Sakshi sighed in defeat
Sakshi: Ok ok. Aaj yehi rukungi.
Arjun grinned in victory.
Arjun: Tumne usse dekha? Tumhari follower ko?
Sakshi think for a while then nodded.
Sakshi: Disguise pe tha. But features change nehi kar pya. Figure and build chotu ki tarah. Skin complexon was fair. Sam ke tarah moch aur left cheek pe ek mole tha.
Arjun nodded. Moch and mole can be fake. He quickly texted the description to Rafi and told him to keep his eyes open. Then he turned his attention towards the beauty sitting infront of her. She is looking killer today. He cleared his throat and glanced at the watch. It was half past nine.
Arjun: Sakshi tumne dinner kya?
Sakshi's train of thought broke. She smiled.
Sakshi: Nehi. Tumse milna tha to time nehi mila.
Arjun nodded.
Arjun: Mujhe bhi bohot bhook laga hai. Chalo dekhte hai kuch khana wana hai ki nehi.
Arjun got up from the sofa and went to the kitchen. No food. As Arjun didn't know how to make food so there was nothing he could do except scratching his head and that was exactly what he was doing.
Sakshi came after him to see what he is doing. She laughed seeing him scratching his head. She went near Arjun and elbowed his.
Sakshi: Khana banana nehi ata to bata dete. Hatho. Main kuch kart hoom.
Arjun stepped aside and Sakshi started working. Sakshi chopped some vegetable and made dough for roti.
Arjun was watching her. Doing household work. He felt peace. After finished cooking Sakshi took the food to dining table. Arjun helped her. Together they finished eating.
After dinner Sakshi washed everything then joined Arjun in living room.. Arjun was sitting in the sofa watching tv. Seeing her he spread his arms and Sakshi came in his embrace like a kitten. Arjun slowly caressed her hair.
Sakshi: Arjun yehlog koun hai? Hame kiyu marna chahte hai?
Arjun sat up straight.
Arjun: Sakshi yeh tum..
Sakshi cut him short.
Sakshi: Arjun I am not blind. Uss bomb blast pe haam saab mar chuke hote agar tumne dusra koi kaam ka bahana dekr hame na roka hota. Usske baad se tum badal gye. Restless ho gye. As if koi baat tumhe bohot tang kar raha ho. Phir suddenly tumne leave le lya aur Pune janeki baat kehke chupke yahai Mumbai pe baithi ho. Aaj tumne hi Sam ko warn kya tha na?
Arjun look at her for sometime then nodded.
Arjun: Ok. Agar tum sab janna hi chahte ho to thik hai. Sam ko bhi bulate hai. Tumdono ko saath saath batyaenge.
Arjun was about to call him when Sakshi caught his hand. Arjun looked up at her curiously.
Sakshi: Tumna bilkul unromantic ho.
Arjun raised a eyebrow.
Arjun: Main aur unromantic!! Abhi dikhata hoom.
He scoop up Sakshi effortlessly in his arms and carried her to the spare bedroom. He laid her down in the bed and slid beside her. He pulled her in his arms and she kept her head in his chest. Sensing her unvoiced question he spoke up.
Arjun: Woh bedroom special hai. Jab main shadi karke tumhe yaha lavunga tab uss room mein le javuunga. Main chahta hoom ki hamara suhagraat uss room mein ho. Tabtak ke lye isshi room se kaam chalana padega.
He smirked naughtily while Sakshi blushed. Arjun was about to kiss her when Sakshi's phone buzzed. It was past ten. Who could have call at this time?
Sakshi took the phone in hand and checked the caller ID. It was her father.
Sakshi: Papa!! Iss waqt?
She picked up the call.
Sakshi: Ha papa. Kaise hai aap.

Mr. Rajesh Anand had came from a mission and is in leave. He along with his wife and mother was chit chatting after dinner. Today he noticed that his wife was not in her usual shelf.
Mr. Anand: Rajni aap thik to hai?
Mrs. Anand jumped out in surprise.
Mrs. Anand: Hhha. Main thik hoom.
But it was visible that she was not okay. She was looking here and there.
Bhabo: Rajni bahu. Baat kya hai? Aap hame to batye.
Mrs. Anand: Bhabo mera jee bohot khabra raha hai. Meri Sakshi ki jaan khatre mein hai. Maa Kali usski raksha karna.
She was a devotee of Maa Kali. She joined her palm and pray for her child's safety. Mr. Anand became restless. He knew her wife. If she was saying something is gonna happen then something is indeed gonna happen. Moreover mother's heart always knew if her children is in danger.
Bhabo: Rajni bahu maine aapse subah hi kaha tha. Rabse pray kijye. Woh apne vakto ko kabhi nerash nehi karte.
Mrs. Anand got up and went to the mandir situated out of the house. It was Kali mandir. Wind was blowing in full power. As if conspiring against her. She lit the dia and started praying.
Mrs. Anand: Aa Ma tu meri jaan le le. But meri bacchi ki jaan baksh de. Meri Sakshi ki jaan baksh de.
She was crying her heart out. But she didn't notice that her achal fallen over the dia and and it started fire. Because of the wind the fire spread in a unbelievable speed. In a few seconds the fire engulfed her fully. She didn't even get the time to scream.
Some servants noticed it and they called Mr. Anand and Bhabo. By the time reached the mandir it was burning with it's full mighty. No sign of Mrs. Anand.
The fire stopped suddenly the way it started. The wind went down. And Mrs. Anand laid there. Her body was unrecognizable but the mere smile was visible in her face. As if she knew some secret they didn't.
Mr. Anand kneel down and took her face in his laps and burst out crying. Bhabo was trying hard to hold her tears but failed. She loved her as her own daughter. She kneel behind him and put a hand in his shoulder.
Bhabo: We will have to call Sakshi.
Mr. Anand nodded but what they didn't knew that at the same there was another house which was burning. The flat Sakshi used to live.
PS- The reason behind Mrs. Anand's death was nothing supernatural. I will explain in the upcoming updates..
