Chapter 12
It was 2 yrs already and he was still alone.He hadn't heard of her from the day she left.
He is sitting in his chair clutching the letter she had left him 2 yrs ago promising to come back,to write to him but she never did.
He tried so hard to find her but it seemed that Riya had changed everything.There was no trace of her like she was gone with the wind.
In these yrs Arjun had one a lot of changes.From hope to betrayal of pain had hardened him and now he became the super cop Arjun Rawte who was a cold hearted person.
Riya's absence had affected him so much that he had broken all his ties from the world.He left his house and now lives in a lodge,there's an unknown barrier between him and Sam and all his colleagues are afraid of him.
He just closed his eyes and tried to sleep but it wouldn't help.
Sighing he pulled the drawer and took some sleeping tablets.He had to rest for working.
Meanwhile in Sammer's home
His phone was ringing.
Grumbling he took the call and what he heard shocked him.
After all this time she was coming back that too as an ACP.She sure has done a lot of progress.
His thoughts wandered to his friend who in these 2 yrs had broken down and was a pained man.
How would her take it,will he accept her???
All these questions wouldn't let him sleep.He knew Arjun's anger had grown a lot and there was gonna be a lot of drama.
Next Morning in ETF...
2 yrs had changed it.
Now sakshi and liza too were part of it.Sakshi was intrigued by Arjun whereas Liza fought with Shree.
Sammer and Aisha were in a relationship taking slow steps and Chotu was still single.
The day began as usal and shree was sipping his coffee when he spit it out and coughed badly looking at the door in horror.
Everybody looked to where he was looking and saw a girl in tight jeans and white shirt with a gun holster.
She looked confident and had an air of grace around her.
Those who didn't know her looked confused and among those who knew ,3 stared at her ,1 looked at arjun and Arjun glared at her.
In a moment hundreds of emotions were flying in his heart,happy sad angry all at once.
He wanted to hug her but also to shout at her.But anger outweighed everything.
he just turned his head away for RIYA.
Sakshi spoke up,"Tum kon ho yaha kya kar rahi ho aur yese kyu...
Before she said further Sam spoke up
"team yeh hai Riya hamri ex research specialist and ab third in command ACP Riya"
At that Arjun's head shot up and his eyes held proudness for a moment again replaced by anger
Others just stared at her in awe
Riya smiled at him before handing her papers and saying
"Acp Riya Rawte reporting sir"
"Rawte aree Riya tumhara aur Arjun ka toh surname ek hi hai"sakshi said
Riya just smiled and said "woh isiliye kyunki mein Arjun ke biwi hoon"
Sakshi was shocked.She was starting to like Arjun and now he had a wife.She was dumbfounded and was getting angry.
Arjun just stood up and went to his cabin.
Riya was about to follow when shree said"Apne pati ko hi milegi ya hume bhi kuch attention degi MAM"
She turned and shree and chotu gave her a nice hug followed by Sam and Aisha.
After that she was introduced to sakshi and liza.She felt sakshi's sudden cold shoulder to her but ignored it.
Sam looked at her and just nodded.He had told her everything and she knew there was hard time ahead.
She went to his cabin and saw him looking outside.
He felt her presence but didn't bother to turn back.
She went upto him and hugged him from the back but he wasn't responding.His behaviour hurt her but she too had and knew she deserved it.
Her eyes began to sting and she started to weep wetting his shirt.
When he felt this he broke the hug and was about to go.No matter how much angry he was he could never see her tears but Riya stopped him,
"Arjun plz kya tum ab mujhse baat bhi nahi karoge"
he just stood silent
"Arjun ek baar meri baat suno,meine jaanti hoon meine tumhe contact nahi kiya lekin mein kya karti meri majboori thi mujhe apne aap sab kuch karna tha,kya ab hum saath nahi reh sakte"
She was holding his had pleading him.
Her talk enraged him and he jerked his hand away.
"Tumhare liye kitna aasan haina Riya,pehele chodkar jao phir 2 saal pure 2 saal tak na koi aata pata chodke aur ab achanak wapas aage ye kehene chalo Arjun ghar ghar khelte hai"
"yesa nahi hai woh...
"Aesa hi hai"Arjun's voice grew even louder with each yell.He was so hurt.
In anger he took and glass and broke it.His hand was bleeding but he didn't care and went out.
Outside shree had told sakshi and liza everything.
When they heard the yelling and as Arjun came out with a bleeding hand,sakshi immediately ran after him holding his hand .
"Omg Arjun tumhari biwi kitni besharam hai phele chod kar gayi aur ab phir tumhare paas tumhe takleef dene aagaye.pata nahi aur kitne ladko ke...
Sakshi never completed her words as Arjun with his injured hand slapped her hard leaving a red mark along with blood on her cheeks.
"Khabardar Sakshi Anand mere personel life mein dakahl mat dena.Riya meri biwi hai aur hamare bich jo hota hai woh tumse koi matlab nahi rakhta,GET OUT"
Arjun yelled at her and she just stood in shook before running out.
Sam's head was spinning with all the drama going on.Arjun was refusing first aid.Sam was hoping for it to stop when this time Riya marched in the room with a glass in hand.
She went upto Arjun looked him in the eye and broke the glass which led to bleeding of her hand.
Seeing this everyone gasped while Sam hit his head
"Oh God ab kya"
