This reminds me of CID, my only favorite female officer on that show (till I used to follow that show) - Asha (Ashwini Kalsekar) was part of the CID team since 1999-2004, and then one fine day she vanished. She was never ever mentioned by anyone in the show, its like she never existed. This treatment by CVs for a character saw regularly for 5 years.
Why is it so difficult to justify / mention about the absence of a team member or say they moved to higher positions? Why do they suddenly disappear one fine day and we as viewers keep waiting for them to come back.
