some days later, riya was back in ETF office, the bandage around her head still there and the cuts healing faster. arjun was not happy about this, and glared at her, but didnt say anything. he actually didnt get any chance as everyone was so happy and talking to her excited to have her back.

these days were actually pretty tough for team, and for sakshi too. she was isolated from everyone, and she was not interested to talk to them. she even keep safe distance from arjun and her chattering cant be hear now in between work. team was already angry on her because of her faking injuries, then suddenly sakshi's withdrawl from talking, it was hard to be back like they used to be.

in these days, when riya was in her home enjoying comfort, someone was truly uncomfortable and was finding it difficult to concentrate. it was arjun of course. it had become his habit to go to hospital to check on her, sometime ditching office altogether. of course his big fat ego came in way and he didnt want to go check on riya in her house. he was actually scared to face her, if she ask him why he is so concerned for her. sameer aisha were enjoying his uncomfortable, and sameer often teased him indirectly, while arjun just glared. dhruv used to notice this, and looked like he had eaten something dirty. he had still could not decide whether he should behave with riya like he used to be or not. none of them, sam aisha dhruv or sakshi had said others about arjun's outburst and his confession.

the first thing riya decided after coming back was to talk to sakshi. she had an idea,like he forced the answer out of her so fiercely, maybe arjun sir had bashed sakshi because of her injury. also she had a slight idea in the back of mind maybe sakshi dont like her. so she wanted to clear any MU with sakshi. but it was difficult, as there was so much pending work, then someone was always with her. she wanted to talk to sakshi alone.

late, but the time came when riya was at last alone. it was late, and everyone was packing to leave. sakshi and riya was alone in discussion room. riya approached her.

"umm...sakshi? can i talk to you for a sec?"

sakshi turned to her, no emotion on her face. riya took a deep breath.

"woh...i wanted to ask...did arjun sir...?" she never finished as sakshi held her hand to signal her to stop.

"please riya, arjun ke bare mein koi baat nahi karna chahti."

"mera matlab tha ki...did he scold you for..." riya was highly embarrassed by now. how she should ask her if arjun scold her because of riya? but sakshi sensed her questions.

"riya, leave the matter. its uncomfortable for both you and me."

"par..."

"please, i request you." sakshi hold her bag and put it on her shoulder, "waise bhi, main yahan pe ek makshad ke liye ayi hoon. ACP Arjun is the last thing to be worried on my list."

riya frowned as the words reached her ears. it was the tone actually...so cold, yet there was something hidden in them.

sakshi nodded to her and left, and riya keep wondering over her words. she had heard from others how sakshi arjun fight almost all the time, but looks like this time it wont be fixed so easily. she felt guilty, but its better not to be nosy in their matters.

somewhere, not so far from mumbai, altaf bhai was like an raging bull in his house. he kept shooting bullets in the window in front of his couch, shattering the glass in the process. his loyal servant and right hand man was standing near him, waiting for order.

"mirza." altaf put more bullets in his gun and the guy beside him straighten his back, listening to him with more attention.

"ab chote mote chor se koi fayda nahi hone wala. sameer rathore itna bewakoof nahi ki ek chor uske ghar se jaroori cheese churale aur usse pata bhi na chale."

"to aap kya chahte ho bhai?" asked mirza. altaf positioned the gun in his hand toward the window once again.

"tujhe yaad hain woh arjun rawte wala kissa? kaise sikandar ne uski biwi ko mara tha usse sabak sikhane ke liye?"

mirza nodded, having little idea what his bhai will order him to do.

"lagta hain iss baar sameer rathore ki photo ayegi paper mein...uski biwi maregi aur woh behosh ho jayega woh khoobsurat nazara dekh kar." altaf smiled widely thinking the scene. mirza nodded, already planning in mind how to execute it.

"par dhyan rahe, woh pen drive humein chahiye mirza. kitna torture karna ho karlo chief sahab ki biwi ko, jitna khoon bahana hain baha lo, par bina pen drive ke wapas mat ana. aur kaam khatam hote hi...ye bolne ki zaroorat to nahi hain na mirza?"

"jee bhai. aap fikar na kare." mirza gave him a last bow and exited.

"Chief sahab...ulti ginti ginna suru karlo." altaf sighed in satisfaction, and again started his shooting sessions, torturing the glasses further till they are powders.

as soon as mirza come out, he dialed someone's no. he had promised to that person to update with any info.

"hello." the person picked up the phone. mirza filled with every info regarding next day's task, torturing and killing sameer and aisha rathore.

the person merely sighed and cut the call. the person is in ETF for months now, smuggling information out of ETF to altaf. so now the time had come, they had to kill in order to get info about those undercover officers in gang.

for a second, the person think about sameer and aisha. working with them for months, a little corner for them sighed and felt sorry, especially for aisha. so young, yet they are destined to die. but nothing can be done, they had to die. or else altaf had to suffer.

the person then acted in front of mirror, how to show emotion in front of ETF when they will come to know about sameer aisha's murder. then the person laughed and said to itself.

next day, ETF office.

everyone had arrived except sameer and aisha. the juniors (minus sakshi, she dont hang out with them now) were talking to themselves.

"yaar aaj suraj shayad west se nikla hain. sameer sir aur late!" exclaimed shree. all nodded.

"arre specky, samjho na." dhruv said in teased voice, "shayad busy honge." and winked. all giggled, and chotu was confused.

"busy? itni subah subah kiss cheese mein busy honge?"

"uff duffer!!!" said in union shree and liza. riya giggled loudly.

"mere bhai, jab tu aur teri 11.30 wali uss level pe pohuchenge, tab pata chalega busy hone ka matlab." shree said to chotu. liza blused at this as shree winked to her.

"guys! behave! main aur dhruv bhi hain yahan." said riya in mock angry tone. shree grinned to her guiltily.

"kaunsa level? shree khul ke bol na." said chotu irritated and curious. shree rolled his eyes.

"aa, tujhe khuuul ke samjhata hoon." offered dhruv, and shree also supported, "haa haa ja. dhruv expert hain in sab cheeso mein."

but neither dhruv or chotu moved from place, as the landline rang. liza went to pick it up.
"shayad new case hoga. later chotu, pakka tujhe..." dhruv was saying to chotu, but never finished as liza cried in high pitch tone, "Guys!!! arjun sir!!!!"

all rushed to her, and she was shaking, her face white with fear. shree hold her while arjun snatched the phone. his face was instantly the mask of fear.

he cut the call, and turned to team who were waiting impatiently, "sameer ke ghar pe attack huya hain. someone is there torturing them."

the whole team gasped. without wasting a second, they all rushed to sameer's house.

in the suv, arjun was continuously trying to block the images of his and roshni's...incident. he was actually imagining aisha's picture hanging on wall with garlands and sameer's almost dead state like him. he shook his head again to block these horrible images and thoughts out of his mind. he wont let another roshni arjun rawte happen today, he was adamant. he promised to himself that they will save sameer and aisha without a single scratch on their bodies.

he stopped the suv half an kilometre away from sameer's house and team run toward the house. there was 2 SUV parked outside the house, and the guards were shot dead. they stealthily entered, making less move possible. they peeped inside and arjun felt he was seeing himself and roshni in there, just the faces are changed.

inside there were 5 guys, two were holding sameer, two were holding aisha, and one guy pointed his gun on aisha's head, while shouting to sameer.

"ACP, abhi bhi waqt hain muh kholo. kahan hain woh pen drive."

"main nahi bataoonga. iss ki bohot badi kimat chukani padegi tum logon ko." sameer threatened the guy. he laughed.

"humari fikar chodo aur apni biwi ki fikar karo. isse marne mein mere haath nahi kapenge." he pointed the gun on aisha's skull, and she glared to him.

"akhri baar puch raha hoon, kahan hain woh pen drive? iss ghar ke har ek kone mein dhoond chuke hain hum, aur kiss munasif jagah pe chupa rakha hain tumne?"

"main nahi bataoonga." sameer was adamant. the guy came to him and slapped him.

arjun's and other's blood boiled when they saw some filthy just slapped their boss. chotu vowed to himself to break every bone of that man's hand.

"nahi bataoge? to bhukto." the guy turned backward and about to shoot aisha, when several things happned at once.

aisha kicked one guy in his...ehm ehm...and bite the other guy's palm. sameer pushed one guy who was holding him to the opposite wall and was handling the other. at the same time arjun and ETF kicked the door opened and arjun shoot the guy's hand. the gun fell on ground, and when he was trying to escape chotu dhruv blocked him. arjun slapped that guy so hard that he fell on floor. shree riya shoot the other 4 people and the fell.

"isse le jao." he just muttered as he was so full of anger himself. dhurv chotu shree liza and sakshi was busy with them, and riya rushed to aisha.

arjun run into sameer and hugged him tight, surprising sameer like anything. then he also hugged him back, a small smile on his lips.

the local police come ambulence reached and took the 5, shree chotu and dhruv went with them. sameer aisha were unharmed, without any scratch, as arjun promised to himself.

"ye sab hua kaise?" asked riya after some 30 minutes as she hand over water to arjun sameer and aisha. sameer was instantly angry.

"we were having break fast, then we heard gunshots outside. isse pehle hum kisi ko call karte ya apni gun se shoot karte, they entered and held us captive."

sameer now suddenly curious, "tum logon ko kaise pata chala that we are stuck?"

aisha grinned now, "i called to office instantly, hoping someone will pick up and hear us. looks like mera plan chal gaya."

"thats my wifey." sameer grinned and gave aisha a bone crushing hug, totally forgetting arjun riya's presence. riya looked away blushing, and arjun coughed, "ahm ahm" to get their attention.

"PDA ho gaya to chale?" arjun asked little irritated tone. instead of sameer leaving aisha, he hold her tightly near him from waist and asked, "tujhe kyu mirchi lag rahi hain? biwi hain meri, haq hain mera."

both the girls were surprised. their seniors voice were so friendly, like one friend teasing another. arjun shook his head and muttered, "pagal." sameer heard him.

"haan, tu to bada sidha hain. akdu rawte."

riya giggled loudly at this, and both sameer aisha burst into laughter. arjun mocked a angry glare, but it had no affect.

"i am in suv. office jane ka man kare to ajana." with that arjun headed for suv, while the trio still laughing behind him.

once reaching suv, the tears started to fall from arjun's eyes. he felt like some burden left him. he didnt wipe his tears, let them flow. he sighed and for the first time in many years thanks god that everything is slowly going right.

"sir?"

arjun turned shockingly and saw riya standing behind him. she was shocked no doubt, but after some moments the shock turned into understanding.

"its ok." she said as arjun hurried to wipe his tears, not wanting to show his weakness, "dil halka ho jayega."

she smiled kindly, and arjun didnt attempt to wipe them. they just stared at each other, unspoken, silent words flowing between them.

why our emotions are naked in front of the person we love most? why we dont even attempt to fake our emotions and hide our tears from them? maybe because we dont have to, they accept us like we are, no questions.
