later in the conference room, the team was discussing over a murder case of a 23 yr old girl. the body was cut into pieces and found near a dustbin.

''kitni berehemi se mara hain.'' said liza in disgust, while handing over the case file to sameer and settled down her seat next to shree. all were looking at their copies of forensic report.

''ladki ki ideantification to impossible hain.'' said aisha.

''humein missing diary se pata karni chahiye.'' arjun said in his usual tone. all nodded.

''arjun sir is right...89% cases mein aisa hota hain ki missing hone ke 2-3 din ke baad laash milti hain.'' said riya. arjun stared at her. liza looked at her and nodded.

''yes sir...riya is right. laash 2 se 3 din tak purana hain.''

''ek kaam karo...shree, sari missing persons ki report nikalwao.'' said sameer finally after hearing out everyone.

''i wonder aise berehmi se maarne ki kya wajeh rahi hogi?'' asked dhruv to none particular. all drifted into deep thoughts.

''shayad pyar ka lafra ho.'' chotu replied to dhruv.

''56% cases mein...'' riya started, but was cut in between by sakshi.

''riya, apne percentage se bahar aao. didnt u hear the phrase? "everything is fair in love and war.''

''wow...'' said arjun sarcastic, ''ab ek ex crime journo, jo ETF ko promote karne ayi hain, woh decide karegi victim ki death kyu huyi?''

''arjun main to bas...'' sakshi tried to defend herself, but all were stopped by the chief's tone.

''rawte, taunt marna band karo. others, go help shree with the records, and let me inform.''

and with that, the discussion was over.

near shree's desk, all except the seniors were staring on the desktop screens in hope for any info about the ideantification. they got 4 names which were possibly be the victim.

arjun came there, ''shree, kuch pata chala?''

''sir, ye 4 naam mile hain in mein se shayad...'' he handed over the paper contained 4 names, and arjun scrutinised the names.

''sir...'' riya started slowly and asked through eyes permission. he bend his head sightly to say continue.

''i guess ye no. 3 wali ladki, reema, ye victim hain...iss ka ghar laash mil ne ki jagah se paas hain.''

''arjun, mujhe lagta hain victim no. 4 wali ladki hain...'' jumped sakshi in between, barely giving time riya to finish, voice dripping with little arrogance.

''par sakshi iss ka ghar dustbin wala area se 20 KM dur hain.'' said riya to her. sakshi looked at her rather sternly.

dhruv in between whispered to shree and chotu, ''boss, solid cat fight chal rahi hain.''

''woh to dikha raha hain dhruv.'' chotu smiled mischevously. shree didnt like the way sakshi was talking to riya. his anger rised further hearing sakshi's arrogant reply to riya.

''so what? agar killer itne berehemi se maar sakta hain, shayad kisi tareeke se laya hoga body ko wahan...humesha tum sahi ho aisa zaroori to nahi.''

riya was taken aback at her tone...whoa, what happened to her? at the same time shree nearly scold her, ''sakshi tum..." but was cut by arjun.

arjun glared such a way to sakshi that literally she was on fire. he continued to give her the look as he said, ''shree, liza se kaho in 4 victims ke ghar walo ko bulaye, aur DNA test karwaye...humein pata chal jayega.''

sakshi stormed out of the place and fumed in anger. aisha followed her.

''arjun aisa kyu karta hain humesha? mujhe neecha dikhana?'' she blast on aisha.

''he was just saying ...'' aisha tried to comfort her, but no use.

''no yaar...ab to kuch zyada hi karne laga hain, its all because of that riya.jabse woh ayi hain...''

''sakshi, aisa kuch bhi nahi hain.''

''please dont defend your friend aisha.''

''why u are shouting on me?''

sakshi fumed, and aisha controled her temper.

''agar gussa shant ho jaye to baat kar lena.'' and with that aisha left sakshi all alone.

next day, the DNA report come and it was proved riya was right...its victim no. 3 indeed. arjun looked at sakshi, ''told u " way, and sakshi glared at riya.

the whole day ETF was busy over this case, in between sameer got a call. some petty thief tried to broke into his house. he smirked inwardly, and told his security guard to took that guy here in ETF.

the guy was in interrogation room, shivering as aisha and sameer was all over of him.

''bolna suru kar...warna agar humne bulwana chaloon kiya to acha nahi lagega.'' started aisha, and sameer stared at him, "start or be ready get beaten" way. the man gulped.

''sahab, chota mota chor hoon sahab...galti ho gayi maaf kar do.''

''ek baat batao...itne security se beech ke tum andar ghuse kaise? aur himmat to dekho, ETF cheif sameer damsnish rathore ke ghar mein chori? himmat kuch zyada hi bad gayi hain, nahi?'' sameer asked in full angry tone, while the guy shivered again, sweating profusely.

''sahab galti ho gayi.'' he pleaded again.

''kisne bheja tumhe?'' asked aisha sternly.

''madam jee...sachhi bol raha hoon...'' he started but cut by her.

''akhri baar puch rahi hoon...iss ke age puchungi nahi, bulwaoongi. soch lo agey tumhari marzi.'' aisha gave an ultimatum.

ajun was till now watching from far away all this. he now entered the room, while aisha panicked at this, sam was calm.

''rathore, kya ho raha hain?'' he asked, and sam aisha got up from their seats. sam slowly explained to him that this guy tried to broke into his house, so they are expecting maybe someone gave him money to do so...arjun nodded and join aisha sam to BBB him.

''kisne paisi diye tujhe ye sab karne ke liye?'' asked sam sternly. the guy, panicing like hell, suddenly pointed toward arjun.

''what the hell?'' exclaimed aisha in shock, while arjun sam glared at him.

''inhone mujhe paise diye...haan inhone.'' said the guy absolute surely, pointing toward arjun. bas, this was enough. in a quick movement, arjun paced on him, dragged him from seat and pinned on wall. putting out his gun from back, he put it into that guy's mouth, making him shock.

''sidhe sidhe jawab de, warna ye goli muh se andar jayegi aur peeche se niklegi...samjha tu, ya main samjhaoon?'' arjun hissed near his face, and the man was scared to even blink or move. sameer crossed his arms on chest and stared at the man.

''ye jo bolta woh definately karta hain...ab soch lo, sach bolna hain ya marna hain.'' sam said to the guy from a distance. the guy shook his head horribly and arjun took out his gun, and freed him.

''thanks rawte for help...we will handle from here.'' sam said to arjun, indirectly saying please leave us alone with the guy. arjun nodded and went out of the room.

arjun come out of the room, and tucked the gun behind, when his eyes fell on sakshi, who was walking away, with the help of walking stick. out of no where he get so much angry, he started to walk hurriedly toward her, and matched her.

sakshi was shocked as suddenly she felt arjun was near her. before she can think anything, arjun was coming very near her, and she started to back off...one step...two step...and thum, she hit the wall.

she was so lost in his face, his face was inches away from her...she closed her eyes and pouted her lips little for a kiss when...

"WHAT THE HELL IS THIS SAKSHI?'' roared arjun on her ear. her eyes snapped opena nd saw arjun was glaring to her, there was her walking stick on his one hand, while other was near her face, holding onto wall.

''arjun...'' she whispered, and arjun was literally throwing daggers at her.

''shak to mujhe wahin crime scene pe ho gaya tha...tum jhoot bol rahi thi hum sabse? u were faking ur godamn injuries!!!!!'' he shouted, and she was very scared now.

''u disgust me miss sakshi anand.''

with that, he walked away, throwing her walking stick on the floor rather angrily, causing a sound which was ringing in the corridor.
