ya, it's me. After a very long time.. and i have come up with an OS.😃

couldn't stop myself from writing after seeing yesterday's episode.😊

it is a Sakshi OS since it deals with Sakshi's POV.. 😊

Sakshi typed in the conclusion of the article she was working on. Being a reporter is a tough job. Your job begins with the end of someone else's hectic day. You have to go through the day once again , however gruesome or cruel it was, so that you can come up with a story that conveys an insight to the lives of people who are a part one of country's Elite forces.

She closed her laptop and stretched listening to the cracking noises coming from different parts of her body. She has been sitting for hours. It really was taking a toll on her.

She closed her eyes and let out a sigh. But her eyes flew open suddenly when her usually silent house was filled with noises.

"trrring" "cuckoo" "the time is 12 AM"

It was her birthday!! She closed her eyes and listened to the sounds enjoying each one of them. It was as if the clocks were singing "happy b'day" to her. Her every birthday began like this with the ringing of all the clocks in the house. Something she has cherished from her childhood days. She set up an alarm in every clock she could find in her house so that she could get up at 12 on her birthday. Well, she had her own fairy tale explanation for that. She wanted to catch the fairy, who keeps her gifts neatly on her bed ,red handed. Her mom had told the fairy comes in exactly at 12 am, not a second late or early and only if you are asleep. Given Sakshi's history with "punctuality" she never had a chance to catch the fairy. But she never stopped trying. Having a fairy as your pet wouldn't hurt much , will it?

A smile crept up her lips. Was it a happy smile? She didn't know. If she had rewinded her life by 10 years it would have definitely been a happy smile. A teenager with nothing other than pimples and crushes to worry about had every reason to smile on her birthday. But she was not a teenager anymore nor was her life as simple as it used to be. Her life had different variety of questions for which a simple yes or no answer was not sufficient.

But today or atleast the moment was hers to live. She never stopped this childhood fantasy because all "these ringing of clocks" "fairies" stuff took her down the memory lane. The way she celebrated her birthday with her family. Her mom's glowing face in the candle light when she comes in with the cake with a lot of candles. Her dad's amusement on seeing sakshi pout her face as she had failed again to catch the fairy. Her sister's irritated face for waking her up from her sleep and Karan johar movie type dreams. Of them singing "happy birthday" together. It was heavenly and for a moment atleast she forgets all her pain when she think about all these.

She opened her eyes once the clocks stopped ringing and looked around. What if there indeed existed a fairy. She smacked herself for those stupid thoughts.

"Life is not as beautiful as fairy tales, sakshi" she thought. If it had been she would have had her mom, dad and sister celebrating her birthday with her.

She got up letting out a deep sigh , planning to go to bed. That is when she heard her phone beep.

"Must be aisha" she thought thinking about her lady best friend who never missed any chances to make her happy. She took a bottle of water and sipping it checked the message.

Thank goodness she had water in her mouth otherwise her neighbours would have thought she was being murdered hearing her scream. She started coughing badly since she gulped a large amount of water out of shock after seeing the message. Once she wiped her eyes which was filled because of all the coughing she checked her phone again. And there it was, bright on her screen, as if mocking her.

"Wish you a very happy birthday !!"

Received at 12:01 AM

From : Arjun

"Wish you a very happy birthday !!" well, obviously this was expected. Anyone receives such a message on their birthday.

"Received at 12:01 AM" again a custom. Usually we wish people dear to us when the clock strikes 12.

"From: Arjun" now that is what gave sakshi a mild heart attack. Did she read it right? Well, thanks to her English teacher she knows how A-R-J-U-N sounds. It is Arjun. But how can it be possible?

"Shree!!" growled sakshi. The techie was trying to pull her legs. There was no machine or number in this world that is inaccessible to Shree. With his talent he can even make Barack Obama send her b'day wish. And sakshi wouldn't have been this surprised if Barack Obama had sent her this wish. She would have replied "Good day to you too. Hope you have everything in control in U S" But today techie has exceeded his limits. Making it look like Arjun wished sakshi a haapy b'day. You'll be hanged for this techie.

But wait a second. Wasn't techie the one who took a bet with aisha for 1000 bucks on whether arjun will wish Sakshi on her b'day. And shree was arguing that "The Arjun Suryakanth Rawte" he knew will never wish Sakshi. So why would shree ruin his own chances of winning 1000 bucks by sending such a message.

"Liza ki bachhi" said sakshi gritting her teeth. "specky ke saath rehke , she has learnt many tricks." Thought sakshi. but then it clicked her. Liza was not that cruel to play with her feelings like this. Liza was a matured lady and all her crazyness was reserved only for her Specky.

She went through every possible scenarios which would lead her to have made such a thng happen. But none of them yielded satisfying explanation. She pinched herself to make sure that she was not dreaming. She stopped pinching herself once she was sure that her soft skin cannot take any more of these tortures.

What if it was Arjun?

Don't be stupid, Sakshi.. it can happen only in your dreams. In real life you are just a pain in the neck for him.

But this was real. And the message was real.

May be Aisha would have begged Arjun to wish her. Yes. That might be it. Aisha is the only one who has understood her feelings and being the Lady dabangg she is she has the guts to say that to Arjun.

But that will be cheating shree. And aisha plays fair games.

Her head was spinning because of all the confusion. There was only one solution. Ask the man himself.

She drew a deep breath. Now this will need all the courage in the world. This phone call might bring her back from his fantasy world where she has been in ever since she had received that message. Coming back to the real world will indeed be painful. But she had to listen to her logical side, because she did not want to keep any false hopes. Or else she might not be able to recover from the pain that such false hopes give.

She took her phone. She did not want to disturb her phone which displayed HIS message. But she had no other option. She pressed the call button and waited with bated breath.

"Hello"

Her heart skipped a beat on hearing that.

"Bolo, Sakshi" he said with the authority that he usually possess. She very well knew how to ignore it but today she had to obey.

Sakshi drew a deep breath and said "voh, arjun, main... voh..."

On the other end of the phone arjun was swirling in his chair with a smile playing on his lips. He knew the purpose of sakshi's call and was enjoying her nervous attempts to convey her message.

"Kyu phone kiya hain, sakshi?" he asked in a mellowed tone. He was not that cruel to play with sakshi's emotions for long. He heard her taking long breaths as if preparing herself for something.

"arjun , shayad tumne galati se mujhe ek message bheja hain" said sakshi hesitantly.

"Acha, tum mujhe raat ke 12 baje mere galti ke bare mein taunt karne ke liye phone kiya hain. How typical Miss.Sakshi Anand." Said Arjun taunting her. He knew how difficult it was for Sakshi to have this conversation. So he decided to play it their usual way - the Tom and Jerry style.

And that taunt did have an effect on Sakshi and she flared up.

"I was not being judgemental. Mein kuch poochna chahthi thi aur tum ho ki mere bina pooche hi conclusion par aa geye. How typical Mr.Arjun Suryakanth Rawte." She answered back. There was no way she was gonna let him win.

Arjun:"I was being judgemental! Seriously! Tumne hi message padhke yeh conclude kiya ki maine galti se bheja hain and ab mujhe judgemental keh rahe ho. Ek baat kaan khol ke sun lo Miss. Sakshi Anand. Main galtiyan nahi karta. I'm always rright Mere dictionary mein galati naam ki shabd hi nahi hain."

" achaa, kahan se kharidhi hain aisi bakvaas dictionary? Tum se na baat karna hi bekaar hain. Mujhse hi galti ho gayi ki maine umhe call kiya. Rakhti hoom." And she disconnected the phone in anger.

Arjun gave out a winning laugh, Sakshi and her ways. He knew that she will gradually understand what he was intending to say .

Sakshi was fuming in anger " akdu kahin ka. Kabhi apni so called ego se bahar nahi aayege. Vo kya hain "I'm always right" . khadoos. Aarghh" she said sitting heavily on her bed. But suddenly it hit her like a hurricane.

"main galtiyan nhi karta"

Which means ... He had sent that message purposefully. He was trying to convey that without embarrassing either of them.

Her heart missed a beat when the truth dawned on her. Arjun actually wished her on her birthday. She got up quickly and took her phone which she had thrown to the floor due to her anger.

She took her inbox and there it was. She slowly walked to her bed looking at the message afraid that if she blinks her eyes the message may just vanish. She got into the bed and reluctantly put the phone away. After 5 minutes she got up again and took her phone again gazing at the message. This night is gonna be a difficult night for her. She looked at the message and smiled feeling happy and overjoyed.

Reluctantly she closed her eyes and went to sleep since she had a hectic day tomorrow. As she drifted into sleep a fairy slowly appeared and sat on her bedside. She slowly caressed her hair and said, "hope you loved my gift."

Yes indeed it was the bestest birthday gift for her. The fairy flew away smiling at what fate has planned for Miss. Publicist and her Mr. Akdu in days to come.

Sakshi smiled in her sleep thinking of how life can sometimes be much more beautiful than a fairy tale. Yes her life has turned into a fairy tale all of a sudden and all thanks to one man. Her prince charming.
