PART 2 A
It was still approximately an hour to reach his destination. Arjun went down the memory lane, thinking about the precious and happy he spend with her.
That was the time when arjun just killed sikander, n he realized that his life is nothing but a void space. The most important aim of his life, was now finished. At this moment ,he was unsure of what he should do at this stage in his life. He thought of taking a break so that atleast for some time he can spend some moments with Roshni or living in those sweet memories he spend wid her. At those moments, he only had a diary: his roshni's diary with which he can cherish those moments again. At this moment, it was sameer who gave him an idea. Sameer told him about his friend's cousin, Ria, who is like a sister to sameer. Ria is setting a small school in shimla, actually it was more or less like a training academy where children could learn basics of martial arts. Sameer asked Arjun that if he can go there and spend some time with the kids n can teach them some basics. Arjun had no problem with this, he wanted to go on a break, n wat could b better den dis. Roshni loved kids n to teach them something would eventually make her happy as well. Arjun thanked sameer, for once again helping him out in his life. Arjun reached shimla n he was actually amused by meeting Ria. On one hand, she was chirpy like a free bird, a very happy and full of life person, but also, her anger was sometimes out of control. Being the only daughter, she was always pampered. She always got what she wanted. This upbringing has made her a bit arrogant sometimes. Anyways, they soon gelled up wid each other. Arjun 's ideologies always impressed her. He was a different person n she always felt amazing while chatting wth him. Arjun found a very good friend in her. On the other hand, ria started liking him, her feelings were definitely more then friendship for him. She liked him from start but sooner she realized it was definitely love-her first love.
One day, After the class which arjun took was called off, Ria reached d academy with the idea of telling him about his feelings. Arjun was busy with some students, when an idea struck her. She immediately peeped in his bag, not with a wrong intention, but just to execute her plan. She found a diary n thought that it was arjun's personal diary. She thought of reading it, just with an idea to know whether he feels d same for her or not. Ria opened the diary with a big smile, but soon the smile faded. There were pictures of Arjun and roshni. Ria wondered who the girl is, because arjun never discussed about the girl once with her. Ria started reading the diary, n she soon realized that the girl is in love with Arjun. Ria thought that may be The girl in d picture(Roshni) n arjun were in a relationship. Ria at this moment, just presumed that, Arjun , her first love, is in love with some other girl. Ria left the academy immediately, because it was not easy for her to take in the shock. It was for the first time, that she felt that she failed, yes, she failed in her first love.
On the other hand, Arjun was a bit puzzled as why she left the place without saying anything. Arjun went to her home. Ria was in her room and crying, when servant came and informed her that Arjun came to meet her. Ria didn't want to meet him and show him her weak side, but she also needed to talk. She asked the servant to make him sit n she is coming in 5 minutes. Ria went to arjun n asked indirectly about his definition of love n whether he has met the special some1. Arjun was a bit surprised by the question but he answered casually,' yes he s n he will always just love 1 girl, and she s roshni'. Ria on the other hand, was getting irritated with Arjun talking about her. Arjun was referring about roshni, in a way she is still there with him. Ria till now had no idea that she s his wife and most importantly she s no more. Arjun left in some time for his place, but he noticed a slight change in ria that day.
On the other han, RIA 's arrogance, her anger was not letting her accept the fact that she lost her first love and that too because of an ordinary school teacher. Though she couldn't admit, but yes she was feeling jealous of roshni. Her anger was making her more irritated n then she took the worst decision of her life. She immediately got ready. She drove to arjun's place, by the time she reached it was almost 10. Ria walked in to his house. Arjun was obviously shocked seeing her at this hour. Arjun,"Ria kya hua ..kuch kaam tha kya" Ria,"Tum kya samajhte ho apne aapko ''" Arjun,"Ria kya hua'.i m not getting wat u r saying????" Ria,"Tumhein kaise samajh aayega '''''u dun see ny1 else's feelings'.kitna easily bol diya ki u love Roshni''yeh bhi nahi dekha ki u hurt me by saying that"
Arjun tried speaking up, but ria said,"Shut up'Mujhe kuch nahi sunana 'u will have to listen to me now''Arjun tumko nahi dikhta ki I love u'yes I love u arjun'.par tumko to kisi aur feelings dikhayi nahi deti" Arjun was too shocked to take in the fact n he managed to say,"tum mujhse pyaar'k..ka'kab se Ria aur kyun. Dekho ria I I 'mm.."
Ria,"Shut up u idiot'I Love u n just say ki u also love me otherwise I m not going anywhere" Arjun,"What 'ria pyaar zabardasti se nahi hota'.u r just a very gud friend ..n I have never thought about u more then that." Ria was already pissed off. Ria,"U cant do this to me'.say u love me." She hugged him n was trying to force herself on him. Arjun was trying to calm her down n he tried breaking the hug.
Arjun,"Ria relax'hum kal baat karte hian'..U r n u will always be a very gud friend but try to understand '..i cannot give any1 roshni's place." Ria was still hugging him n she was not ready to leave him. Her closeness was actually irritating him , n the tough cop inside him was boiling in rage. For ria, all that matters at that instant was his yes'because for the first some 1 said no to her. Finally arjun's anger overpowered n he pushed her away, n he said angrily,"Ria just go from here'.dun force me to drag u out of my place."
Ria looked at him but she was as she has lost her sense, she tried kissing him, thinking that he would give up now. This was enough to break arjun rawte's patience and he slapped her. Arjun,"Ria tumhari respect karta hun 'isliye I m asking u to just go from here. Don't force me, to drag u out of my house." Ria,"Arjun, roshni hain kaun?? Where is she'who is she ?? if she luved u den she would b here damn it'.I have not seen her 1ce in last 6 months, ever since u came here. I don't think she s worth of your love." In her anger that time, she just threw his bag , hardly realizing that the bag fell near the fire place. Arjun shouted to the core , "She s my wife damn it..."
Arjun suddenly noticed that his bag has caught fire. He ran in the direction but it was late. Her diary, the only memory he had of her, was gone. It was burning. Arjun managed to protect atleast some of the pages which were left. On the other hand, Ria on hearing this last words, realized her mistake. She was so ashamed of what was she doing a few moments back. She had tears in her eyes, as she herself spoiled there friendship. All she could see was arjun trying to save dose few pages of the diary n she gathered her courage to say,"Aarr'Ar'Arjun I m really sorry." Arjun was already hell angry n this was the limit, Roshni's diary was gone. He shouted,"Ria just get out of my place." Ria went outside crying. She was really guilty that time of hurting him. Ria to herself,"What the hell'.what happened to me at that instant'yeh maine kya kar diya..i should ask sorry".
[MY TAKE: I agree that what ria did was wrong, but as I mentioned earlier, she always got what she wanted. So that thing brought in her a wrong attitude that whatever she wants, she must have it'.n it s because of this attitude of her , she does all this. Soon when she realizes her mistake, she really feels sorry for her behavior''.]
But ria never got the opportunity. Arjun left the place n he send his resignation with some one's hand. Ria was also adamant to ask forgiveness. She was trying every possible thing to contact him n arjun kept on ignoring her. For him, it was an insult to roshni. He was angry on himself, for not being able to protect roshni's belongings.
Ria came to know about roshni's demise from Sameer. She till that time, thought that she hurted arjun's feelings by insulting his love for roshni, but now, her guilt also increased. She unintentionally tried ruining his dead wife's things. This was too much for her.
Suddenly, the truck came to a screeching halt. Arjun realized that he was so much into his thoughts that he hardly realized how time passed. He was in shimla after 2 years. Things were almost same, the city had same warmth. He immediately took a cab n headed to his location.
