It is easy to write romantic fluff charmingly,and even if these days it puts me off pronto, so many others love it. It is much harder to write convincingly about genuine sorrow, and about gut- 2 Bwrenching sadness and loss. So I hope you will take your time about the remaining part of parts, and will handle the tragedy of what could have been with the sensitivity it needs and deserves.

This said, I find it defeatist that the girl in question, presumably Riya, is effectively trying to commit suicide because of Arjun's refusal to forgive her for whatever stupid and unfeeling thing she said or did.Life is a gift from God that one should cherish, and use it the best one can, not throw it away for such a trivial reason. To do so is an insult to the Almighty, and also an act of great insensitivity towards those who love her, like her parents. I am thus not prepared to cry all over your dying Riya; I would be more inclined to smack her solidly and drag her off to the nearest and best cardiac care centre, even if it might be too late to do her much good.

I personally dun support such people...who give up life so easily. Yes as u said , it s an insult to god's precious gift.

One last point: I hope you are not going in for a miraculous, last minute recovery. That would defeat the very purpose of the story, and reduce it to maudlin stuff.
