I guess, he sympathized with Damini though she was the reason for 3 innocent people's death...Her killing Khanna was just an accident or a self defense...so she cant be blamed!

may be tats why he just kept silent!

The bomb wasnt removed and the switch connected to that was less in use.. !!

i agree she was involved but ETF cud have reduced her punishment
