Chapter 4

Riya was completely in a daze, overcome by the fervor of Arjun's hard kisses. She couldn't understand why a man who'd always seemed to scold , insult and shout at her would wanna kiss her. She kept leaning on the walls, till she could gather enough strength to walk and get out of the house before Arjun was back. She didnt know how to face him, after what just happened, and wanted to run away. But unfortunately she felt a weakness in her legs, and didnt think she could walk. After a few minutes she felt better and decided to leave. But she had just taken a few steps when the main door opened, and Arjun was back. He was surprised when he saw her still where he had left her. He came in and had some shopping bags in his hands. He walked towards her, and she started to go backwards. Arjun saw her taking backwards steps, and stopped coming towards her.

"Here are some clothes for you, i had gone to buy them earlier when you were still sleeping. Change into them, and hope you like them. And i phoned Rathore in the morning, and told him about your burnt house, and well he has ordered you to take some rest and not come to work today," he said and kept the bags on a table nearby, and after that he went again away. Riya was too stunned and embarrassed to even answer to him.

Riya went towards the bags, and was happy to be able to change into some clean clothes. She had expected Arjun to say something about the kiss, but he had behaved as if nothing happened. So she would take the same cue as him, and forget about the kiss completely. It had only been a mistake, and only out of anger, and thus meant nothing to either of them.

She returned back to the room he had given her to change her clothes, however when she opened the bags, she was surprised to find only dresses in them, and no jeans or trousers at all.

"What's wrong with Arjun Sir? Why has he brought only dresses for me?" she thought loudly, though he had very good taste since all the dresses were simple, elegant, and beautiful to wear.

Out of them she chose a pink dress to wear, and was pleasantly stunned that the dress was exactly of her size. And was perfectly decent and covered her till her knees. She was going out of her room, when she saw that her reflection in a mirror, she didnt recognise herself at all. She looked so beautiful in this dress, she looked completely girlish in this. Despite everything, she felt happy for now. She got out of her room and was going to see if she could get anything to eat in the kitchen, since she hadn't eaten much yesterday. She went in the kitchen, and was again surprised to see that Arjun had prepared and left something for her to eat on the table. She ate it quickly while mentally making a list of the things she had to do now that she was homeless.

After eating, she went to wash all dishes and cleaned the kitchen. And finally decided to go out to make all the necessary arrangements with the bank for some money, and also to start looking for a place to sleep now. She thought that she had enough money to rent for a place for the time being. And after that she'd decide what next to do. The whole day was spent in doing all these things, and finally she returned back around six o'clock in the afternoon.

Arjun was sitting on the steps outside of his home, and he looked very angry and a bit worried. When he saw her, however some of his anger vanished, and the remaining completely vanished when he actually saw her wearing the pink dress. He thought about this morning, when he had gone to buy some clothes for her, and how this pink dress had immediately attracted his eyes, he had already imagined Riya in it, and without wasting any further time, he had bought it for her. Now really looking at her in it, gave him such immense pleasure and also a strange feeling inside of his heart. But he ignored that feeling and continued staring at her.

Riya was feeling very shy when she saw the way Arjun was looking at her, and she very nearly turned and run away from that hot stare. But she couldn't run away, and continued walking towards him. Both were staring at each other's eyes, and no words were needed. When she was near enough to him, Arjun got up on his feet, and continued looking at her, as if he had seen her for the very first time.

"You look very beautiful. Pink suits you," he complimented her.

She started blushing at Arjun's words, and she was completely at lost at how to reply to him.

"Where were you? I was so afraid when i returned back and didnt saw you here?" he gently asked her. She told him about the money arrangements and other things she needed to do. She however didnt tell him about the fact that she was looking for somewhere else to stay, since she didnt want him to be angry again.

"Have you had diner?" he asked gently.

She nodded a no. He suggested that they go out to eat, to which she agreed since for the first time since she had known him, she was afraid of being alone with him. He took her to a very expensive restaurant, and ordered everything of her favourite tastes to eat. She was overwhelmed by everything happening around her, the gentleness with which Arjun was treating her, and the atmosphere was so romantic. But what disturbed her was the way Arjun was looking at her. After their dinner, both returned home in complete silence, they hadn't talked much either during their dinner, Riya was too much in a dazed state to reply, while Arjun was completely smitten by a Riya in a pink dress. Soon they were back home, and both went inside the house. Once they were inside, Riya turned towards Arjun to thank him for everything and was going to suggest that she was feeling sleepy and thus wished him a good night. However nothing happened as she had thought, since when she turned, her feet got caught in some electrical cables lying on the ground, and nearly tripped into Arjun arms. She gasped aloud and completely froze in his arms. She tried to get away, but steely hands pulled her back against him and when she caught them, she felt their warm strength under her cool fingers. She again tried to get away since his closeness was having strange effects on her, but still he tightened his hold. She tried to say something but his mouth was on hers before she could finish. She fought him for an instant, as he anticipated. But he was slow and very gentle, and she began to melt into him like ice against a flame. He brought her closer, aware of her instant response when she felt his body closer. He made a rough sound against her mouth and deepened the kiss. Her fingers caught in the cool flames of his hair, holding on for dear life as his ardor burned high and wild. He kissed her with not an inch of space between their bodies, no quarter in the thin lips devouring her open mouth. She accepted the intimate contact without a protest, shivering a little as it ignited new fires in her. The sensation was unlike anything she'd known. She held on tight, moaning. After a few minutes both had to break the kiss so as to breathe.

Arjun gently released her, kissed her softly on her forehead, and guided her towards her room, opened the door, pushed her gently inside and then wishing her a good night, he closed the door and went away to his room.

"It's the pink colour," Arjun mumbled to himself.

"It's this pink dress effects I think," Riya was saying the same thing to herself in her room. She felt very shy and embarrassed that she had been kissing Arjun Sir. Her life had just changed drastically, and she didn't know how to deal with it anymore. The only thing she knew was that she was feeling really happy after a long time. She went to sleep with these thoughts.

While Arjun in his room, was getting confused at his actions even more. He had always respected Riya a lot, he also liked her a lot, but he had never seen Riya as more than a friend. Yet he took advantage of her while she was in his home, and had kissed her twice. He felt a bit guilty, cause he knew that she was very disturbed after recent events, and he wasn't really helping her at all by all these things. He turned and looked towards Roshni's photo hanging on the walls of his room, and went towards it.

"I think that I'm falling for Riya, I don't know how it happened, but I feel happy after a very long time Roshni, I have never felt like this since you left me. Do I have your permission to go forward with this love, am I breaking all the vows I made to you?," he asked from the photo. However he got no reply from the photo, except a smiling face looking at him. Deep down he knew that Roshni would never want him to be alone, yet he himself had never thought that he'd love again since for him Roshni was his first and last love. On the other hand fate had something else planned for him.

He went to sit on his bed and thought about how he'll proceed with Riya. He knew that Riya had just had a broken heart cause of Ajay, and then her burnt home. So he decided that he won't pressure her at all, would try to become friendlier with her, and give her all the time needed before he would begin his campaign to charm and win her love. He also went to sleep with a happy face.

Precap:

Arjun acting as if nothing happened, Riya very sad and angry since she thought the kiss didn't matter to him…

Arjun finding out about Riya looking for somewhere else to stay, and he's very angry…
