I cannot think of anything that would top the praise you have already got for this purely Ariya love story, but I must tell you that apart from the story as a whole (and you are correct in anticipating that someone like me would find it a tad too warm!), I particularly liked and appreciated Riya's reservations about a pre-marital relationship, which was entirely appropriate in well-brought up girls.

The ring wedding reminded me of the gandharva vivah that was so common in our mythological tales. Our ancestors were far less inhibited than my generation and the ones that came before ours!

Finally, why have you called it The Devil's Gold? The Ajay-Riya fiasco could have been called Fool's Gold, but why the devil?
