I honestly can’t try to figure that out firstly he never wanted to go to Baliya but when he heard Rani is getting married to Birju he just had to go see for himself Cz deep down he knows she would never, it’s as if he wants her to blurt out that she loves him only his ego so hurt but honestly Rani does share a very special relationship with Birju he would never mistrust her like this so yes their relationship is so pure!
