Unlike in the real episode Vikram is funny here and taking this lightly. It's a nice change from the serial where even Vikram didn't know how to react.

The best part is here veer is not ranisa's puppy. He actually stood up for rani. ❤️

I am loving this. This rani will not let ranisa walk all over her either. It will be great. Can't wait to see rani - ranisa interaction. 😆

CHAPTER- 3

" Rani, don't try to run away. Bhai and I will have to find you again then." This time it was Vikram who noticed his bhabhisa trying to sneak out and Veer immediately turned to see her.

" Kunwar sa, humein Bauji se milne jaana hoga." Rani said as she looked at him. { Translation - Kunwar sa, I have to go and meet Bauji. }

" I will take you to meet him tomorrow morning. It's too late right now." Veer said, looking at her, completely guilty.

" Aap....aap humko milaane le jaayenge? Kyu? Aapka man nahi bhara kya....." Rani started but held her tongue because she didin't want to bother Vikram with the truth. { Translation - You will take me to Bauji? Why? Aren't you satisfied....}

" Bhabhisa, don't take so much stress. I feel like you're going to faint again. Bhai, make sure that she rests while I go and check what drama is going on downstairs." Vikram said, getting up and walked out of the room. He called her bhabhisa very involuntarily but to him, it felt like it was the most natural thing to do in the world.

Rani looked around for a while before deciding to open her mouth.

" Aapko nahi lagta ki aapko niche hona chahiye daactar saab? Woh Rajkumari Kiara ko budbak kitna bura lag raha hoga. Aap kyu unse jaake nahi bol rahe hain ki aap mujhe talaaq dekar unse byaah kar lenge? Bechaari ka dil hi tut gaya hoga na?" Rani asked, looking at Veer who was lost somewhere. { Don't you think that you should go downstairs too Doctor sahab? Kiara must be feeling so terrible. Why don't you go downstairs and tell her that you'll divorce me and then marry her. She must be competely heartbroken. }

" Yeh sab abhi important nahi hai Rani. Aap please rest kariye warna aapki tabiyat zyada kharab ho jayegi." Veer said, his doctor insticts kicking in and for some very strange reason, he didn't like it when she mentioned divorce but didn't paid too much attention either. { Translation - All of this is not important Rani. Please take rest or you'll end up falling sick. }

Rani didn't really have much energy to argue with him so she grabbed a pillow from the bed and lied down on the couch. Veer was about to open his mouth to ask her to take the bed, but didn't because who knows, the way she was reacting, she would just leave the room and he wanted to keep her under his observation. As it is, she hadn't eaten much.

Within ten minutes, Rani was fast asleep on the couch and Veer had then got the antiseptic to clean the wound on her forehead and then very lightly, applied the ointment and put on the bandage.

" I am sorry Rani for doing this but you should sleep comfortably tonight." He muttered as he very carefully scooped her in his arms and made her lie down on the bed and tucked her in as Vikram walked in once again.

" The drama's still on bhai. I was totally bored so I am back." Vikram addressed his brother.

" Dheere Vikram. Bahut mushkil se soyi hain yeh." He said, giving a soft look to Rani and then looked back at his brother.

He nodded as the two of them sat on the couch which was previously occupied by Rani.

" Vikram, I am going down for a while to apologize to Kiara and her family once again. You stay here and call me if she wakes up or has any trouble." Veer asked Vikram, his eyes on Rani though and then looked back to him.

" Okay bro. But mind you, everyone is really very angry except for papa and dadisa." Vikram warned his elder brother as he gave him a nod and Veer left the room.

Vikram hated to do it but this was the best time to tell Rani the truth. He had overheard his mother and brother talking about the god forsaken accident and though he didn't know who did the accident, he had heard that it was definitely not his bhai who had taken all the blame for it in front of Rani and now that his bhai and Rani were married, she deserved to know the truth more than anyone else or she would only despise his brother without him doing anything wrong.

He walked to her to wake her up but unfortunately for him, dadisa walked inside the room.

" How is she?" She asked Vikram.

" Bhai ne bahut mushkil se sulaya hai." He told her as she sat on the bed, next to Rani. { Translation - She has slept after a lot of efforts from bhai. }

Vikram knew that he could trust his daadisa and also thought that she could help Rani and him uncover the truth so he told her everything that he had heard this morning and Rajmata was totally shocked.

" But beta, are you sure?" She asked, looking shaken.

" Yes daadisa, hundred percent. I was just about to tell the truth to Rani." He added and she nodded.

" This is a very sensitive matter Vikram and now is not the time and place to tell her the truth. We will wait till tomorrow and when Rani is alone, we will tell her. Let her rest for now. A lot has happened with her and Veer in the past few hours. Look how peaceful she is looking right now." She asked Vikram who nodded in understanding.

" I will go downstairs and send Veer up. Enough drama has already happened and Rajeshwari needs to give him a break." Rajmata said, standing up and Vikram nodded as the two of them stood up from the bed and Rajmata walked out and Vikram started to formulate a plan to get the truth out.

" Vikram? Did she get up while I was gone?" He heard his brother's voice and was broken out of the trance.

" No bro. She has been sleeping ever since. You rest too, I'll leave." He said, giving one hug to Veer before walking out of the room.

Veer then walked towards the side of the bed where Rani was sleeping and caressed her forehead slightly.

" I am so sorry Rani. I wish I could tell you the truth, but I can't. I really am terribly sorry for what has happened to you because of me and my family." He muttered before walking the the couch and letting sleep embrace me with a lot of difficulty.

The next day, as Rani opened her eyes, she was taken aback because of her unknown surroundings and immediately jumped off the bed, rubbing her eyes.

" You need to take it easy Rani, you fainted two times yesterday." Veer said as he had just got ready for the day.

" Aap kahe itni fikar dikha rahe hain? Woh bhi jhoothi? Aur main idhar bistar par kaise thi? Soyi toh mai sofe pe thi." She asked him, completely annoyed and confused. { Translation - Why are you showing me such fake concern? And how did I end up on the bed because last I remember, I was asleep on the couch. }

" Woh aap couch pe se girne waali thi toh maine aapko bed par shift kar diya." Veer had to lie because she would just lose her temper if he told her that he didn't want her to be uncomfortable. { You were about to fall off the couch, that's why. }

She looked away, a little awkward and then started to make her way out of the room to the servant's quarter. Veer didn't stop her this time.

As she was walking towards the quarter, she bumped into Rajmata.

" Are....Rani aap itni jaldi mein kahan jaa rahi hain?" She asked, her tone really getting soft. { Translation - Rani, where are you off to in such a hurry? }

" Woh Rajmata.....taiyaar hokar bauji se milne jaa rahe hain." She replied, giving her a small smile. { Rajmata, I am going to get ready and then go to meet Bauji. }

Rajmata then asked Champa to shift all her stuff to Veer's room and she herself escorted her back, only to see that Veer was missing from the room and Vikram was walking towards the two of them.

" Good morning Rani. You feeling any better?" Vikram asked her as she gave him a small smile and a slight nod.

" Bahurani, you go and get ready to meet your bauji. Vikram and I will take you. Then, after coming back from there, you need to do a few post wedding rituals too." Rajmata instructed her and she didn't have the heart to say no and walked in to get ready.

Meanwhile, Vikram and Rajmata found this the best opportunity to tell Rani the whole truth.

As Vikram started to drive with Rani in the passenger's seat next to him and Rajmata at the back, he started.

" Rani, what we are about to tell you might come as a shocker but please just listen to us." Vikram said and Rani scrunched her eyebrows in confusion.

" What is it Kunwar sa?" She asked, focusing completely on them as they narrated the truth to her.

Rani couldn't believe her ears for the longest time. Why would he lie to her about such a huge thing but then again, her father was doing the same to her. He wasn't ready to tell her the truth too.

" Bahurani....bahurani, will you say something?" Rani heard Rajmata's voice shaking her.

" Humko toh vishwaas hi nahi ho raha hai. Bauji aur daactar saab, donon humse jhooth pe jhooth bole jaa rahe hain. Ek taraf bauji asli gunehgaar ka naam batane ko taiyaar nahi hain aur yeh daactar saab hain ki apne aap ko hi doshi saabit kar rahe hain humare saamne. Hum kya karein maata rani?" Tears made way into her eyes. She was slowly breaking down. { Translation - I can't believe it. Both Bauji and doctor saab are lying to me. Why are you doing this to me maata rani! }

" Don't you worry bhabhisa, we three are going to uncover the truth and I have a plan for that but for now, let's go and meet Ramu kaka." Vikram said and the other two nodded their heads.

Meeting Ramadheer didn't yield any fruit as expected as he wasn't ready to give out the name but Rani told him the entire truth about her marriage with Veer and he asked her to be a good bahu and take up responsibilities, telling her that Veer is a good man and he wasn't the one who did the accident. As they left, Rani had tears in her eyes.

Reaching back to the Rajawat House, she started feeling guilty about the way she had been treating Veer for the past twenty four hours.

" Daactar saab ne toh meri jaan bachayi hai aur idhar mai unhi par baras rahi thi. Paagal hai tu Rani." She muttered to herself, sitting on the bed. Currently, there was no one in the room. { Translation -Doctor saab saved me and I, like a fool was shouting on him. }

Sitting for a while idle, Kumud came to her room and handed over a dress and ornaments to her to get ready for the post-marriage rituals and that is when it hit her, she was married. She was married to Veer. She was not Rani anymore, she was Rani Veer Singh Rajawat. She had the burden of being a Rajawat bahu.

" Itne chauchak kapde aur gehene? Yeh sab hum pe bilkul accha nahi lagega. Hum koi Rajkumari Kiara thodi na hain! Hum toh ekdum bandar lagenge yeh sab pehen kar." She muttered to herself as Kumud left her alone once again. { Translatation - These beautiful clothes and ornaments, I will never be able to carry well in a million years. I'll end up looking like a monkey. }

" Bahurani, aap taiyaar nahi hui abhi tak? Jaldi kariye. Saare mehmaan aa gaye hain." Raajmata said, entering the room. Rani was sitting in the same position Kumud had left in. { Translation - Bahurani, get ready quickly, all the guests are here. }

" Ji, bas abhi aaye." Rani replied, quickly getting up and Rajmata walked out, nodding. { Yes Raajmata, I'll be right there. }

Without giving it any further thought, Rani quickly wore the royal blue dress and was just putting on the jewellery when her earring got struck in her dupatta.

" Hey maata rani, yeh sab humaare saath hi kyu hota hai! Budbak ab yeh atak gaya!" Rani exclaimed, irritated and was furiously trying to get the earring off and accidently, pulled it too hard, hurting her ear. { Translation - Oh god...why do all these tragedies have to happen with me right now! }

" Yeh kya kar rahi hain aap. Aapka kaan kat jayega. Rukiye." She heard a deep yet husky voice and turned around immediately, because she knew who it belonged to. { Translation - What are you doing? You'll end up hurting your ear very bad, wait. }

For every step he took towards her, she took one back and it was completely involuntary. She didn't even realize what she was doing till he pointed out.

" Rukiye Rani. Aap piche jaati jayengi toh main aapki help kaise karunga?" He asked and that is when she stopped. { Translation - Stop Rani. How will I help you if you continue walking back? }

She did stop and Veer, leaning towards her started to detangle the earring and doing so, the back of his hand brushed on her cheek a few times, leaving million of butterflies in her stomach as she held onto the hem of his coat a little, to balance.

" Here you go. All done." He said, giving her a smile.

" Kitna aasaan hota hai na daactar saab, kisi ki thodi si madad lene pe zindagi ki problems kitni aasani se solve ho jaati hain na. Toh phir kyu log problems ko chipaate hain? Baatien nahi batate ek doosre ko ya phir jhooth bolte hain." Rani said, looking at him in his eyes., taking two steps away from him. She couldn't confront him directly right now but she sure as hell could try to motivate him a little to tell her the truth. { See doctor saab, it's so easy to solve problems with someone's little help. Then why don't people ask for it, instead of hiding things from each other or lying to each other?}

But before she could hear what he had to say, she found her world spinning and then everything went black after she found herself in Veer's arms who was calling out for her, her head resting on his chest was the last thing she remembered before darkness took over.
