Episode begins with Pakhi brainwashing Ishaani to trap Raja into marriage by hook or by crook . Ishaani is concerned as Raja was not replying to her messages nor taking her calls . She is sure Moti baa must have threatened him. Pakhi asks her to keep trying to contact him .
In her room Pakhi is seen getting nervous over the mehendi function next day , she is scared of the bad open that might happen if the mehendi did not come out bright on her hands . Prem arrives and calms her, reassures her , lovingly romances with her , they spend tender moments together .
Next day is mehendi ritual . Kotharis have made elaborate arrangements . Kotharis are dressed in jade n deep green colour while the girls side are all dressed in fuscia pink. Rahi and Prem have their hands dipped in Rose water n milk , this ritual makes their hands soft for mehendi to appear brighter Moti baa explains the rituals and the traditions and insists mehendi ritual must be done in traditional way as per Kotharis . Prem reluctantly gives in. Shah family is taken aback by the strict rules of Kothari family .
Anupama makes Vasundhara taste the dishes she has readied for mehendi function. Moti baa loves the dishes but remarks Gulaab ki barfi was missing . She insists Anupama prepare the dish as she has Annapurna’s blessings in her hands .
Both families have dance n masti on the occasion of Mehendi . Everyone joins in . Pakhi nd Ishaani are seen looking for Raja, who is missing from the function.
Anupama wants to be present for her daughter’s mehendi but is stuck up in the kitchen preparing Gulaab ki barfi . Rahi misses her mother as the mehendi is made in her hands .
Anupama misses out the mehendi of Rahi and Prem .
After completing her chores Anupama finally comes to meet Rahi n admires the beautiful mehendi and the name of her groom in her hand .Rahi then makes mehendi on Anupama’s hand as she is mother of the bride n it will look bad if her hand did not have mehendi . Mahi is seen getting jealous of Rahi and writing letter P in her hand , this is noticed by Meera secretly . Later Mahi tries to spoil Rahi’s mehendi by spilling water on it . Anupama shields it and saves the mehendi . Rahi and Anupama glare at Mahi while she tries to pass it off as accident . Gautam is seen getting angry as Prarthana and Ansh have few moments of friendly banter , he lashes out and threatens to torture her of she crossed her limits .
Friends of Kotharis humiliate Anupama but she gives it back and silences the people by giving long lecture . All guests , Shahs and Kothwris too are impressed by Anupama’s lecture . Shah family comes together to serve the guests , friends n families at the mehendi function.rem gets bad news that their contract her been rejected by their investors and Prem tries to cheer up the family members so that this upsetting news should not affect the wedding festivities .
Babuji and Anupama are worried about the demands by Moti baa about the various rituals . They face financial crunch .
