Pehli baat to sari maids sare daily wage workers ek si life nahi jeete.

Dusri baat, Shahs maids aur labourers se badtar haalat hue na fir to? 10 Lakh afford nahi kar paye, chillar amount, tch!

Aur kuch mahino pehle tak doodh, dawaiyo aur khane ka hisab kar rahe the, kitne gaye beete type ke log hue na?

Aur loan, liya to liya, wapas chukana bhi hota hai, jahan tak mujhe yaad hai Samar ne marne ke pehle Anuj ko 10 L ka cheque lakar pakda diya saal ya 2 saal baad wo bhi kaafi badtameezi se jaise koi ehsaan kiya ho, to kya interest free loan matlab Udhaar liya tha loan ke naam pe?

Aur jab lete waqt izzat se maangte hain aur request karte hain to dene ke time itni akad aur badtameezi kis baat ki? Lene wale ka sar hamesha jhuka hota hai lekin Shahs to hain hi ehsaanfaramosh, saare ke saare, Anupamaa Shah bhi.

They don't belong to any class. They're phatichar, bhikari and sadakchaap.

And this quoted figure is not based on any statistics or legitimate research. Just some thing which is applicable solely in Anupamaverse

The starting Gross ANNUAL salary of a software engineer (who is atleast a graduate) in Bengaluru is around Rs.4,50,000/= plus variable pay upto Rs.80,000/=.

Gross Salary includes EVERYTHING. Take home much later.

Damn I am in a different world, then?

You aren't wrong. I am aware of the same numbers.

Which is why I wanted to say. For someone to have disposable 10 lakh rupees means the person belongs to upper middle class , not even lower middle class.

For labour class, I agree the maids have decent salary these days but inflation justifies the salary there and we need to remember they end up spending 80 to 90 percent on daily necessities with only a very meagre savings.

3000 milk

3000 ki sabji

6000 ka poora Ghar ke raashan

Bachon ki school ki fees 6000

Bijli ka bill 1000

19000 se aise hi kharch ho gaye basic need mein

Jisme mobile recharge tv recharge medicine hotel traveling khuch nahi joda Gaya

Plus badi padhai ke liye education jisme aaram se 20 lakh ka kharcha aata hai

To aajkal ke zamane mein 10 lakh mein kaise jhande aade jaate hain mujhe nahi Pata

10 lakh mein poora Jeevan bita dega usme woh bachon ki padhai bhi poori karwa lega basic need bhi karwa lega sub khuch kar lega aaj ke Kal zamane mein with 10 lakh

This is only in big big metros like bangalore, mumbai, delhi that maids work in 5-6 hours in 4-5 houses for 1-2 hours and get paid anywhere between 4000 to 10000 per month. So if they work 6 houses they get 24,000 per month. A security gaurd in mumbai, bangalore also gets 20,000 only per month. But cost of living is very high in these cities so no way they can save 10 lakh after working 10 years also because rent for 1 room or even 1 bhk house is 10000-15,000 in slums or small areas of mumbai, bangalore etc so 50% pay goes off in house rent only. In big areas posh area 1bhk is 40,000 rent and 2bhk 60,000-75,000 in mumbai or bangalore. So no maid stays there

Also cost of all things in bangalore, mumbai grocery is new york rates. Like in new york 1 kg apple is equal to bangalore 1 kg apple 350rs inr (if converted from dollars) in non season 9 months a year

So maid cannot save anything forget 10 lakh whatever come they will spend rarely save

In smaller city an electrician will change switch for 100-200 rs in bangalore/mumbai for 1000 rs

In bangalore/mumbai mason will get 2000 rs per day but in up/bihar same guy will get 400 rs inr or in village even lesser my be 200 rs. no one will pay mumbai or bangalore rates in village or other towns.

A kg beans in bangalore/mumbai is 120kg in off season but you go to smaller towns its 30-40rs max even in off season
