Anupam getting to live her favorite track again! Bechari, always fighting with destiny and the world, bhaashan giving, pati ki satayi hui empowered and inspirational woman oops maa.

So Anupama heard Anuj's entire conversation about his guilt, intent on coming back and making things right, the way he broke down in front of Pakhi, he sent pictures of the gift he's bringing for her, they've been texting and now he said one line that he doesn't want to be with her and she believed it? After knowing that Maya and Barkha etc. have been scheming and plotting, she didn't think once to check if this was true? To maybe check once in person with Anuj and confirm that this is what he wanted? No one is asking her to "invade" his space but maybe go there with this same attitude and seek closure face to face once and for all? He said one line and she wasn't the least bit suspicious, she just believed him? Now if something really bad has happened to him or he's been locked up in a room or whatever depraved things the writer has planned, it won't be her fault for not checking on him even once? They'll just brush it under the carpet like the whole letting go of CA without clearing her misunderstandings, pretend it didn't happen.

Anuj was 100% at fault with the way he behaved with Anupama earlier and he still is for letting Maya go easily and offering his "friendship" to someone who was plotting and planning behind his back to be with him and separate him and Anupama. It's messed up. But I truly don't understand how Anupama did not even feel the slightest bit suspicious about this. Especially the line "unki khushi CA aur Maya ke saath hain". Maya, really? Maybe Anuj has been put in the list of characters who changes colours every other day, like everyone else on the show, so she's decided this is how he is.

And honestly, no woman needs a man to soar or fly or whatever, but in this case Anuj was the reason for her initial growth, he never stopped her from anything. This whole erasure of the Shahs and Anupama herself being the real problem and as if Anuj was stopping her from her udaan or journey or whatever is so messed up. He was the one who kept encouraging her to focus on herself and draw boundaries with the toxic Shahs but no, that time she kept running to them. And now suddenly all she needed was Anuj to be out of the picture for her udaan? I'm a feminist, but this is toxic feminism at it's peak and the reason feminism gets a bad name. Anuj's behaviour after he left to Mumbai was terrible, but why have they erased everything until then, just to show her as mahaan?

And the line I hated the most - Anupama ko na hi Anuj ki zaroorat hain na Vanraj ki. Both their names being taking in the same breath as if their character was the same?

What we all expected was Anupama finally reaching breaking point due to the behaviour of the Shahs, especially Baa and Vanraj, and giving Bapuji the earful he deserves for being a mute spectator and acting bechara, we all thought losing Anuj would make Anupama finally give it to them the way they deserve. Instead, it's happened because of "toxic Anuj the MCP villain", the man who was the wind beneath her wings, in her own words. Because of him she's realised she needs to live for herself and not for others, what is this storyline even? Minimising the Shah's literal CRIMES and making all of this Anuj's fault, how very pathetic the writers are.
