On a super side note, the recent track has pushed me away so much that I finally found time to finish reading an incomplete book. So thankful to makers!

Reading a book>>>>>>>>>>>watching anupamaaaaaa any day

Anupa is only meant to be trolled and laughed when you are bored in between😆

I agree with this as well. So much was said and insinuated about us simply because we referred to funny statements made by a general set of Anupama's die hard stans (as a whole, not even just limited to this forum). And also that we hated on the actors, when we only spoke about the characters they are playing on the show, and that we were "spreading negativity" , while merely protesting against an extremely regressive narrative.

But here, there are members particularly saying these set of people have made the forum unwelcoming and not as nice as earlier and that it used to be so good etc., and they still haven't stopped, merely because we aren't putting up with any regressive garbage spewed to us in the name of entertainment. Even I'm one of the people who joined much later, I used to be a silent reader but how is that making us comfortable to post? In fact now even I feel hesitant to post things due to a weird worry about how it comes across to certain people. It isn't fair that suddenly the forum is negative to you because people don't have the same opinion. Maybe it's because the show and it's protagonist used to have potentional earlier so people rooted for her for a reason, and now that it's gone down the drain, what else can you expect? But this definitely needs to be addressed. Rules should be the same for everyone.

Also people can't be babied forever, they should learn, by themselves, to identify the difference between an actor and the character they're playing. When they themselves are mixing up actions of real life Rupali with the character Anupama and hence, targetting members who criticise Anupama's actions (and validly at that, she honestly hasn't done anything that deserves praise in a long long time), while blurring lines between the actor and character themselves, that's not done. I too read the posts you guys are talking about and it truly was upsetting.

I wanted the same thing a while ago after some really triggering posts about adopted kids vs bio kids, but I think blocking just means they can't PM you right? You'll still see their posts? Let me know if you find a way 😊

Yeah, blocking doesn't do much. I'll let you know if I find some way. You too please let me know, if you do.

From whatever I can see, I find you such a considerate person, don't worry too much about this...as long as you try to keep an open mind while interacting with someone, I feel it's enough - and you really seem like someone like that.

I squint my eyes & scroll really fast when I see someone I know is posting troll worthy content. There’s opinions & then there is pure trolling

There was some one commenting really horrible things about LGTBQ people on an article here …like absolute vitriol . I blocked them but all it did was not being allowed to see your profile. Still saw the posts. Reported them but no action taken 🤷🏻‍♀️

There was an English show called Manifest whose premise was basically a disappeared aircraft landing after years and the mystery behind it. Won't go too much into it but essentially the passengers on that plane haven't aged while the rest of the world has and moved forward.

Anupamaa fans are like the passengers on that plane. They don't realise that almost 2 years have passed and yet Anupamaa has shown no long term progress or growth. She has been unsuccessful in everything and all the storylines are around her giving lectures on the virtue of her mahanta or crying and blaming each character turn by turn. People are rightfully frustrated at this miserable state of Anupamaa and her series of bad decisions but those who have a problem even with this expression are rather misguided and should focus on the makers instead for their complete failure and mockery of a journey.

Literally everyone specifically mentioned that they have nothing against the actress but yet a specific agenda is being peddled. Since there is no reasonable defence for the character left, facetious allegations are all that they can resort to.....
