There has been some really vile posts about adopted kids (same culprits constantly), a fathers feelings for his daughter, rape victims, prostitutes, etc. And the show is also responsible for promoting this regressiveness among fans who accept these things unconditionally because they show them against the main lead who has a huge fan following

Unfortunately no, there is sadly no way you can filter through posts you dont want to see and regarding the post you all are talking about, rules are alike for everyone…if someone feels left out and doesnt seem to have the same opinion as everyone else, its upto them to present their opinion in an acceptable manner or they can stay out.

The said post talked about the forum in the initial days where there was about 5 members makkhi maaring and see what we have made it now, literally put the forum on the map.

I would advise everyone to ignore such posts and not let any negativity creep in on our happy forum, the show is enough for the drama.

There was an English show called Manifest whose premise was basically a disappeared aircraft landing after years and the mystery behind it. Won't go too much into it but essentially the passengers on that plane haven't aged while the rest of the world has and moved forward.

Anupamaa fans are like the passengers on that plane. They don't realise that almost 2 years have passed and yet Anupamaa has shown no long term progress or growth. She has been unsuccessful in everything and all the storylines are around her giving lectures on the virtue of her mahanta or crying and blaming each character turn by turn. People are rightfully frustrated at this miserable state of Anupamaa and her series of bad decisions but those who have a problem even with this expression are rather misguided and should focus on the makers instead for their complete failure and mockery of a journey.

Literally everyone specifically mentioned that they have nothing against the actress but yet a specific agenda is being peddled. Since there is no reasonable defence for the character left, facetious allegations are all that they can resort to.....

You have pretty much summed it up. I get frustrated hearing we hate the actress🤦🏻‍♀️. Who am I to hate. Hate is such a strong word. I dislike her acting, dislike her dancing and most of all I hate the character of Anupama. Where in this did I say I hate the actress?

I am pretty sure people in this business develop a thick skin and know this kind criticism comes with the job of acting. I just wish her fans would see it that way too. We can separate the actress from her character. I am pretty sure she is a sweet person and had acted better in other materials.

Also we have here been critical of other characters including the ones we like.🤦🏻‍♀️

At this point all I can do is ignore them but still come here and say my peace.

Since I was not here when this forum was started. I have to agree it is better to just ignore what some posters post and move on. I try my best not to let them get to me.

Repeating here again har viewers apne angle se character ko.dekhta hai aur analyse karta hai

Har koi kisi bhi serial Character ke behavior ke apne angle se reason deta hai

Kisi ko woh serial character baat galat lagti to kisi ko serial Character woh baat sahi lag sakti Hai

And yes I know forum mein sub ek jaise nah regarding character nahi soch sakte

But problem arise when we start questioning other view about character and start judging forum member if opinion does not match them

Any ways I have already in previous post one can counter post with examples to show why such character is wrong or right

Eventhough you feel this forum has become unhealthy and unwelcome especially keeping in mind certain posts, you still felt safe enough to talk about all this in this supposedly unwelcome forum. Maybe the efforts from the moderator where we all restrained ourselves with relation to the show, actually helped for awhile.

You might have seen very beautiful times in the forum pre-Anuj entry (that's good that you have such good memories with relation to this forum), but at that time the show had that charm - and now, atleast in my perspective, not only has the show lost its charm, it has lost everything - you also realise how it has started losing its essence. I'm a pretty new member but I'm guessing - when it felt like the makers were promoting regressive stereotypes, people started trolling it.

Yes, people can stop watching and discussing this show, but they already know that - so maybe just like you like discussing with like-minded people; they too like coming here to discuss with like-minded people.

When there are so many members here, there will, of course, be a whole range of opinions. A big majority of the interactions here I find quite healthy. Rarely, things go a little out-of-control. And yes, it does. But I find it to be a small proportion compared to the rest.

It seems like you love Rupali a lot based on everything you have seen and heard - which is of course, completely upto you. But this is one of the rare times I have seen the personal lives of actors discussed and speculated in such depth and detail. We usually restrict discussions to the acting in this show and characters in the show. I'm sure you have certain specific posts in your mind which seem to have hurt your sentiments, but maybe just like you've come to certain conclusions based on social media, they too have come to certain conclusions based on social media. (Not justifying here, I will always think it's better to restrict ourselves to the show and the actors with emphasis on acting, when discussing on a public forum.)

I personally don't know Rupali and so don't have anything against her as a person.

I have read so many posts where people seemed to have liked her acting as Monisha, posts which are more neutral and sympathises with Rupali for having to act as Anupama for so long, posts which clearly show that all they care about is discussing the show, and don't wish to get involved in the personal lives of actors.

When an actress has such a big level of exposure in the ITV world, and when there are so many members here - it's natural for there to be members with a different opinion from you - I'm pretty sure you already know that?

Anyway, I just wanted to send you this once, that's all.
