I know this show is unrealistic at many levels, however...

Don't throw chappals at me please, Ghar mein pehle se padi Hain😳

But here it goes:

  1. Bad people never improve because of one's sacrifices (as shown in other serials) which is realistic. In real life too, no matter how much one gives to others, one is never given credit but responsibility of anything going wrong falls solely on the person who does this for them. (Anupamaa and now Kinjal)
  2. A child runs after the parent who is emotionally unavailable (talking from experience) and craves the love of that parent the most. (Anu calls Anupamaa's name in her sleep)
  3. The person who forgives the most is never easily forgiven and is ill treated the most (you can guess)
  4. Narcissist and co dependent personalities complement each other (Anupamaa Leela)
  5. Bad students often don't complete courses (Anupamaa)
  6. The child who throws tantrums is given preferable treatment over the one who is obedient.

Can't believe I'm making this post🤣Now running away🏃🏻‍♀️

You don't have to run away...you make some valid points, if you overlook the millions of logical loopholes and exaggerated motions of human behavior and characters flipping around their nature and wait, where was I going with this.... yes, it might be realistic in the saddest sense, but the problem is they're calling this a show that can inspire people and make them aware of social issues...but wait, you know what?

Maybe the makers are secretly geniuses, and they are giving a message on how you should not be. Amongst the people watching this, the people who find it difficult to draw boundaries in real life, who are forgiving and sacrificial to the extreme; watching this, even they will lose patience and go: Anupama, Kinjal, Kavya - what the hell are you doing, leave immediately, cut off the toxic relations already!

Hmm that would have been the first stage. Now they are probably laughing at them.

Certainly human emotions are complex and the show does potray, how the best way to live is to remove toxic people.

They may be doing in reverse psychology but that is the only message of the show now 🤣

You are absolutely right and they are teaching how one shouldn't be. They certainly have taught me😳😆

Yes. They are doing it in the absolute best way possible. Seeing Anupamaa and now Kinjal does teach one how one shouldn't live to sacrifice their lives for people like Leela❤️

I just feel like conveying this...you seem to have gone through quite a bit of suffering because of how much you care about other people. How I'm trying to live is (not that I always succeed)...is to be kind but not make repeated sacrifices for people who don't understand the value of it. The sweet spot, under most circumstances, I think, is when you reach a point where you don't carry any anger or hatred towards anyone, but at the same time, are very firm with your boundaries. (Ah this show ruined that word!)

End of ...bhashan

Thank you so much for your kind words and thank you so much for this kind advice. That sweet spot seems difficult but at least there's a direction where I am to go.

its also a very realistic depection of how cults form

Usually a cult leader like Baa will brainwash victims to believe that blind serving and suffering is good and no one should question the leader. The victims will never be able to escape the cult and will keep coming back. Then in turn the victims will themselves recruit new members and brainwash them to the same belief. Generations after generations of victims are brainwashed, they lose their careers, their identity and just become part of the cult to serve the leader

Have you read about the moon cult of korea called moonies

Shah daughter in law and son in laws exhibit similar devotion to all original Shahs

please read on that cult

people would work themselves for 16 hours day as their cult leader told them

many were brain washed to hate own family own mom dad siblings because they opposed that cult

same thing happening to anupama, anuj, kinjal, adhik etc hate own family parents siblings cousins well wishers

please read on that cult shahs are similar to the leader
