Rakhi used to create drama at shah house at a drop of a hat. She used to taunt and belittle Anupama. Anupama was a victim of domestic abuse and ema and now with this track knowing, Rakhi also went through ema, she didn’t empathize with Anu at all. She instead insulted and belittled Anupama at every point. Yes Kinjal stood up for Anupama because that was the right thing to do. Same way Anupama standing up for Kinjal now.
If Rakhi cared about her daughter, she wouldn’t stir drama in her daughter’s in-law’s house, wouldn’t try to manipulate her husband (though Toshu is a shit person), wouldn’t try to create differences between Kavya and Vanraj by manipulating Kavya and definitely wouldn’t belittle and humiliate Kinjal’s MIL who has always supported Kinjal and protected her against Baa. Rakhi knows Kinjal can live in that shah circus aaram se (before Anu left) was only because Anu had accepted Kinjal as her own daughter and always supported Kinjal. At the most, Rakhi should be thankful to Anu for always standing by her daughter, not insult her at every point. I was glad that last week Rakhi acknowledged Anu and thanked her for being strong and standing up for her daughter against her own son. That kinda redeemed her chr for me a bit.

But the thing is, she DID treat her own daughter's home like a circus, and honestly I'd have been cool with her treating everyone like the clown they're as long as she wouldnt have dragged Anu. Why doesnt Kinjal ever go after Anupamaa and shown her the mirror? Anu has wronged so MANY times but somehow KinjuBot just claps like a monkey and supports Anu.

Rakhi may not be the greatest character but Anupamaa is worse. She is written to promote regressive attitudes of women & to take shit from elders & leave all self respect at the door

Agreed that kinjal doesn't deserve hate.

But did kinjal asked Toshu why he was leaving? Where ? With whom? There was a communication gap and their relationship was half baked.

I felt that if we exclude whole EMA, then kinjal and Toshu represent those newly wed couple who need to spend their time with each other rather than family.

Don't take me wrong but gf- bf and husband wife mein kafi difference hota hai.

Let the newly wed couple live alone for sometime for their own understanding and compatibility. But here kinjal ki compatibility Anupama se ban gayi aur Toshu ki pta nai kisse.
