I too heard this somewhere by someone else too but dont know who it was. But here Rupali herself said that the writers do have many scripts (tracks) ready and which ever works they go along with it. And they do test it out every week that's why every week new track comes to play. And about the prequel it was already planned during end of Jan or beginning of Feb and they brought it in the main story on Valentines Day. And they got many chances to use it but never did. When Moti Baa's can be mentioned in the show numerous times so why cant Paakhi's truth be used.

And Secondly the suspense that they wanted to share regarding the prequel did not work because many already knew the answer to it.

And same Anupama who never heard of passport and about international flights and abroad during the Mumbai trip suddenly reveals that she got a chance to fly to America

If the makers could use flashback scenes in the current timeline why cannot re read the track or at least re watch your old episode before adding something new like this blunder that they did.

If I am a writer of any show I will never discard my story as I will surely revisit it from time to time

I would say it's a major disconnect then. Trps or not, Anuj had been there in prequel meaning that he was also a part of the story. Then he should have been used in the present track as well.

And Anuj never mentioned meeting her after her wedding or even seeing her after her marriage. Because when they spoke about the 17 years track he never mentioned about it to her. It cannot be that he straightly tells her that he saw her as a bride on her wedding day with Vanraj and never mention that he saw her Pregnant when he came to see her.

Again the tracks are not having proper closure.

Anuj and anupama never had important talks of their life. I guess the prequel was shot after that scene where he saw her pregnant in prequel and technically even after marriage he could have told her.

And secondly about Paakhi's birth and what all Anu said to Vanraj that this child will always remind me of how you broke my dreams. This was never shown in the main series. I agree as a mother she might have forgotten about it but when Paakhi and Vanraj or even Toshu when they always taunted her for being good for nothing and having achieved nothing in life.

@bold, if i am not wrong anupama had craved for her husband's attention to her in her marriage with vanraj. He berated her like anything, called her useless and masalon ki badbu and all. So if i am not wrong she had a disconnect with him in physical intimacy too. This could have been a basis of her relationship with Anuj.

After all Anuj had clearly told her that he did had partners in the past.

For pakhi, she had scolded pakhi where she could but i still felt that pakhi and anupama lacks the emotional bonding that a mother has with her daughter. I don't know the reason but that is what I feel.

This Paakhi's birth could have been used by her during those times but they never did especially when Paakhi went all excited to go to US By Mukku's and Anuj's Money. When Anu refused and Vanraj told her that he did not get a chance then she could have used it then and there to shut him off.

I agree there is also a disconnect between the prequel and main series.

Anupama still had some kind of feeling for vanraj, it's not love but still there is something that makes her vulnerable. I am amazed with all what vanraj has done she hadn't slapped him.

I would still would have want anu and anuj to have a talk regarding their marital life before adopting CA.

They rushed CA track.

Maybe some minutes o showing Anuj's craving of a family and his own kids would have make CA presence much better

Love love love the colored responses. Yes, the only Emotional Bond Anu ever had in Shah house was with Babuji, Samar, Moti Baa.

I haven't seen prequel, so won't comment. Yes, unfortunately Marital rape is common in Indian culture, regardless if it is arranged or love marriage. In arranged the saying is 'puri zindagi padi hai, ek dusare ko jaan ne ke liye', physical intimacy established followed by birth of kids, pati aur sasural wale kush hai, bache, yada yada. That is why romance/intimacy fades away easily (romance doesnt have to touchy touchy all the time). Left with two options make relationship work with duty or find it outside. Extra martial relations happen, no one discloses it like they don't want to acknowledge indians live with some kind of anxiety, stress, abuse everyday. Denial. That is what is shown.

Anu is tired till Shah House for duties and two emotional bonds that she cherish.

Multiple Tracks written makes sense as it was obviously seen.

Yes Vanraj was in love with his college mate (Ritika) but she left him because she wanted to do something for herself ( he begged her but she refused saying that she loves herself more than her love for him) and the reason he stopped Anu from leaving to US was because his GF returned back to be in his life and she just like Kavya told Vanraj to let Anu go and do something for herself. Vanraj could not bear this and in order to show his GF he stopped Anu from leaving.

His GF and Kavya are the same but he cant control them the way he controlled Anu. And all hell broke loose for him when the same Anu he controlled all her 25 years stood firm to divorce him no matter what happens

And the funniest part was that Sudhanshu saying that you will know by watching the prequel why is the character Vanraj the way he is and he blamed Ritika for all this by kind of saying that you will end up feeling bad for V. But this backfired badly on the makers because this prequel showed how actually black were Vanraj and Baa and no white paint can color them white at all no matter what track the makers bring.

Bold - Cant agree more this would have actually moved the whole ITV to next level

The amount of stress that is being put to justify everything Vanraj does is so messed up. Why can't he just be a bad guy?

With this problematic process, it won't be long before CVs also depict and justify him getting back together with Ritika or even married to CA.

Just saw RS's post on SP on his birthday. RS has so much love for him and his character. Seems like DKP crew is surrounded by men like V so they think all regular guys are like him.

Yes the makers did that and anupama had pitched a fit too. That anupama and the present Anupama of 2020, who is a doormat kind of seems distant.

Specially when her husband was a jerk. How can she love him is still a question for me.

Pakhi is 16 and she was conceived by planning and plotting. How come anupama never had a emotional distortion with vanraj, Toshi and pakhi specially when they called her losers on daily basis.

17 years is a long time to see the loss of emotional connection when she wasn't even having physical intimacy.
