I think it's because she is unhappy Anuj marrying a middle class traditional woman.

The girl they cast opposite Samar has terrible dialogue delivery skill. She is worse than Nandini. I hope we don't get to see much of her. Isn't she Barkha bhabi's daughter? What's she doing in Jaamnagar?

Smiles and her 1st sentence is, "Hubby bante hi chubby ban gya"

and asks hope she surprised MaAn. Introductions all around - Anupamaa tries to take badi bhabhi's blessings - BB jokes that she's not used to this as in US this is not the culture but still gives blessings and says she hasn't forgotten her roots and maa maa hoti hai and Bhabhi and pulls AK's cheeks.

AB walks down the stairs and some banter and they pop the champagne, the fizz goes all over the floors and all Anupama is concerned is about cleaning it. Anuj lovingly says to her, "biwi chodo, we'll clean is later -for now enjoy the celebrations, please."

They both take blessings of brother and have cute banter - "dude you've made me old/elder ok here are blessings" - jokes about Anuj losing his 6 pack abs, anuj says it's all because of his wife's cooking put promises that now that he's back, they can work on their 8 nahi 12 pk abs

AB praises Anupama, her demeanor her beauty - and BB talks about Anu being typical middle-class

Anu gushes and is teary-eyed and Anuj tries to explain that his wife is very is very emotional even in happy times:) They are very casual/jovial, when anu asks to call BB jethani, but BB asks Anu to call her by her name Barkha and AB says to call him anything,bhai, bhaisab, dada pardada. Anuj says how about calling by your relation bhaiya/Bhabhi, coz no one else can call them that except family.

Looks like there's some tension between BB and AB - They toast to a non-alcoholic champagne

Later MaAn are so cute - they clean the carpets, he is moping and she wiped sofa with vinegar to remove spots - everything oozes cuteness.

The discussion gets to Baa, and then who is Baa? but Anuj deflects it expertly, saying, Anu's family tree is complicated, and that they'll get to know them all soon.

For now, they want to enjoy dinner, BB says she has made all Italian and Anu seems lost at the names and Anuj without being embarrassed or frustrated reminds her that they did have tiramisu in Mumbai - this is such a sweet gesture a partner can show his/her spouse

AB says, he also can't recall names of dishes he ate since he had daal makhani 4 months ago and there's some bro banter about cooking etc - (there sure is tension between AB/BB)

MaAn go hand in hand to change and freshen up for dinner and AB discusses how sweet they are, BB mentions that they are very lovey dovey and demonstrative to which AB replies - when there is Love, it is clearly visible - Episode ends -

Jamangar: Kinju baby wants to go to some Music/Art Fest - Baa says absolutely no as it would be crowded etc - Kinjus says she her her vanar sena and the 3 siblings pop-out - they advocate going - citing art, dance drama - paakhi says "and boys" finally Kinju agrees to stay back!

Whitewash vanraj walks in and gives Toshu some money, who hesitates - Trashraj says something like - abhi tera baap zinda hai - T takes it and 3 of them leave - with happy banter. Baa says to stop by and see Nani at the hospital.

At the fest - they are enjoying, Toshu missing Kinju - T goes to pick up drinks and samar sees a friend - meanwhile, some dude is trying to ask Pakhi out - the new ML sees that and confronts the dude - he tells him when a Girl said NO, a no means NO he explains. The guy tries to brush past, but eventually leaves as as the ML holds his ground - pakhi is impressed -

Samar is talking to his friend about a painting he says is bakvas and another girl comes in appreciates it and describes it .

My take: AB looks like a homely guy, he'll most likely be a good character but who knows we'll have to see the drama unfold - BB and AB seem to have drifted apart, and BB finds Anupama different - we'll leave it at that for now (most likely will be grey, we'll have to wait and see)

Troll material:

Anuj mentions his wife's cooking - hum, didn't they married 3-4 days ago and except pehli rasoi, Anupma has not cooked at all.

Atleast BB is an excellent Italian cook -

On other note... if they retain V as his original character... I.e a manipulative narcissistic villain without any white washing... a black character... I think it would be good.

So the episode was good? I will wait for another maybe two months or so before I start watching.. I can't bear if AK'S character is shown different from what was originally shown... I'll stick to ffs.

I mean Nandini was Kavya's niece... Now this new girl is Anuj's niece...

I have hated how NRIs are stereotyped in ITV usually. We are nothing like what is shown. But, I am no Kapadia though, that could be the difference 🤔
